Get Rid of the Hunters
Head south to find the hunters’ camp along the stream. Speak to Victoria Foxworth where you can agree to help her or get rid of them. Agreeing to help her adds the objective “Locate the Land Grant”. If you would rather help Cyrus, you’re forced to take out the hunters.
Return to the Old Man
After taking out the hunters return to Cyrus and speak with him to complete the quest. You’ll be rewarded with some bits and a unique Hammersmith Long Gun called the Pen.
Locate the Land Grant
If you decided to help Victoria, return to Cyrus and ask him to hand over the land grant. If your Persuade is 105 or Lie/Intimidate is 70, you can convince Cyrus to hand over the land grant peacefully. Otherwise you’ll need to take him and his friend out.
Give the Land Grant to Victoria
Return to the hunter’s camp and give the land grant to Victoria to complete the quest. Your reward is some bits and a couple snacks.
