We Happy Few – Thomasina House

Acquired: This quest is obtained from Lionel Castershire by talking to him at the Odds and Ends shop in Maidenholm.

 

Objective(s):

  • Get into Thomasina House
  • Find the Marble Cat Statue
  • (Optional) Find the Fountain of Youth
  • Return to Lionel Castershire

 

Get into Thomasina House

Follow the objective to the Thomasina house in St. George’s Holm. Head through the front door or the sunroom door, but be wary of the people walking around.

 

Find the Marble Cat Statue

The marble cat statue is located on the third floor of the house. It will be behind a portrait of a man that you can interact with. I also wanted to mention that there are also 5 fake statues in the house you can collect. You will get an achievement/trophy for collecting all of them.

 

Fake Statues

  • First Floor – On a desk in the room behind the three ladies in the left room of the main entrance
    • You can take a vent in the panty room to reach this statue.
  • First Floor – Pantry room next to the kitchen on the right side of the house
  • First Floor – On the stairs leading up to the second floor next to some newspapers
  • Second Floor – From the previous statue, turn left to find this statue on a dresser
  • Second Floor – From the previous statue, turn around and head across to the other side of the stairs. Enter the door there to arrive in a bedroom. Open the portrait of a man in a red coat to find this statue.

 

(Optional) Find the Fountain of Youth

The fountain of youth can be found down the all from the marble cat statue in a room that has symbols drawn on the floor. There may be an enemy in this room that you need to deal with.

 

Return to Lionel Castershire

Leave the house and make your way back to Lionel Castershire. Talk to him and hand over the marble cat statue to complete the quest.

We Happy Few – You Can’t Beat the Odds

Acquired: This quest is obtained from Lionel in the Odds and Ends shop after completing the rest of his quests.

 

Objective(s):

  • Help Lionel’s Business When It Next Opens
  • Assume the Position!
  • Drive Off the Troublemaker
  • Assume the Position Again!
  • Drive Off the Gang

 

Help Lionel’s Business When It Next Opens

Return to Lionel’s shop around 7 am of the next day.

 

Assume the Position!

Head into Lionel’s shop and make your way to where the constable normally stands. Interact with the prompt to guard the shop when it appears.

 

Drive Off the Troublemaker

Hit the troublemaker a couple times to cause him to flee.

 

Assume the Position Again!

Head back to your post and continue guarding the shop.

 

Drive Off the Gang

Defeat the three enemies to complete the quest.

Acquired: This quest is acquired during the Church of Simon Says quest.

  • Get Inside Nick’s House
  • Disable Nick’s Security
  • Talk to Nick
  • Talk Nick Out of the Bathroom
  • Take Nick’s Wig and Mask
  • Take Nick’s Key
  • Take Nick’s Fab Threads
  • On Your Way!

 

Go to Nick Lightbearer’s House

Follow the objective to Nick’s house.

 

Get Inside Nick’s House

*Before you head into Nick’s house, you will need 2 Electro-Lock Shockers, a Shortspike, a joy pill, and a Jimmy Bar.

Swing around to the back of Nick’s house and follow the scaffolding until you find a ramp. Take the ramp to access the scaffolding and follow it until you reach a window. Use a Jimmy Bar to open the window. Enter the house and take the stairs up to the next level. Open the first door at the top of the stairs and move through the bathroom, to the bedroom, then out the window onto some scaffolding. Follow it, jumping over 4 gaps, walk over a makeshift bridge, then dropping down to a lower scaffold. Eventually, you will reach the window to Nick’s house. Use a Jimmy Bar to force the window open and enter.

 

Disable Nick’s Security

Once in the window, use the electro-lock shocker to enter the door right in front of you. Grab all the joy pills and Nick’s wig and mask. Head out of the room and pop a joy pill. Pass through the joy detector and head down the stairs. Disable the electrified doorknob and use a shortspike to disable Nick’s security.

 

Talk to Nick

Head back into the hallway and turn right. Head through the door at the end of the hall and turn right. Lockpick the door and take down the sleeping lady. Grab Nick’s safe password off the dresser and exit the room. Take the stairs down to the lower level and talk to Nick.

 

Talk Nick Out of the Bathroom

Head into the bathroom and talk to Nick for a cutscene.

 

Take Nick’s Wig and Mask

Should already have this from following the guide. It’s in a locked room on the top floor of Nick’s house.

 

Take Nick’s Key

Grab the key off of the small table in the bathroom and head back up to the room you got the wig and mask from.

 

Take Nick’s Fab Threads

Use the key to grab Nick’s threads and equip them.

 

On Your Way!

Exit the residence to complete the quest.

Acquired: This quest is triggered by finding the Church in Maidenholm and knocking on the door.

 

Objective(s):

  • Go to Church
  • Bring Nick Lightbearer to the Church
  • Let the Games Begin!
  • Win Simon Says
  • Escape the Church
  • Deactivate the Electricity
  • Take the Medal

 

Go to Church

To obtain this quest, knock on the door of the church. You will need to be on joy to pass through the joy detectors. Once you knock on the door, a brief cutscene will trigger.

 

Bring Nick Lightbearer to the Church

Follow the objective to  Nick Lightbearer’s house then complete the quest Sympathy for the Lightbearer. When that has been completed head back to the church.

 

Let the Games Begin!

Head into the church for a cutscene.

 

Win Simon Says

Play the game until one person is left.

 

Escape the Church

Run through the church to the entryway.

 

Deactivate the Electricity

Head up the stairs in the entryway and follow the path until you reach a ladder. Take the ladder to a storage room and deactivate the electricity.

 

Take the Medal

Head back to the Simon Says room and grab the medal to complete the quest.

Acquired: This quest is triggered automatically while exploring Maidenholm.

 

Objective(s):

  • Hide in the Bushes and Eavesdrop on the Bobbies
  • Search the Corpse

 

Hide in the Bushes and Eavesdrop on the Bobbies

Crouch and sneak up behind the fence on the other side of the bobbies to witness a cutscene.

 

Search the Corpse

Take care of the bobbies then search Eddie’s corpse to complete the quest.

Hide Nearby to Observe the Lovers

Head into the fountain park area then crouch and enter the yellow flowers. Sneak up close to the couple to initiate a cutscene.

 

Talk to Benedick

Talk to Benedick to learn about his mojo.

 

Collect a Night-Blooming Nonsuch

If you don’t have one already, head to Eel Pie Holm at night to collect a Night-Blooming Nonsuch. They can be found across the area.

 

Return to Benedick

Head back to Benedick and hand over the plant.

 

Hide Near the Lovers

Head into the yellow flowers behind the next bench for another cutscene.

 

Hide Near the Second Spot

Follow the pair to the next bench and hide in the flowers for the next cutscene.

 

Hide Near the Third Spot

For that last time, follow the pair to the next bench and hide in the yellow flower for the final cutscene to complete the quest.

Return to the Park Tomorrow

You will get this objective if you discover Eric Blair Park at night. Return after 8 am in-game time to continue the quest.

 

Listen to William Godwin Rant

When you arrive at the park, a cutscene will play.

 

Talk to William Godwin

After the cutscene, talk to William Godwin.

 

Post Seditious Flyers

Follow the objective to each location and post a flyer. Be wary of your surroundings as posting these flyers will attract attention and you will be attacked.

 

Go Back to Eric Blair Park

Return to the park after hanging the flyers to check in on William.

 

Talk to William Godwin

Talk to William to complete the quest.

We Happy Few – Golden Oldies

Acquired: This quest is acquired in Maidenholm after doing some other quests for Lionel at the Odds and Ends shop.

 

Objective(s):

  • Find the 3 Golden Records
  • Bring the 3 Golden Records Back to Lionel

 

Find the 3 Golden Records

This objective is pretty straightforward. Follow the three objectives to abandoned homes in Lud’s Holm. There will be enemies you will have to deal with at each location and the records can be found on the top floor of each building tucked away in a chest. Make sure you bring enough lockpicks.

 

Bring the 3 Golden Records Back to Lionel

Head back to the Odds and Ends pawnshop to hand over the 3 golden records to Lionel, completing the quest.

Night-Blooming Nosuch can be found across Eel Pie Holm at night. Collect one and hand it over to Mrs. Pankhurst.

 

Find/Bring Mrs. Pankhurst an Old Shredded Raincoat

If you don’t have an old shredded raincoat already, the easiest way to get one is to loot every wardrobe, cabinet, and dresser you come across until one turns up. Return to Mrs. Pankhurst with one in hand and give it to her.

 

Find/Bring Mrs. Pankhurst a Sewing Kit

If you don’t have a sewing kit already, loot every vanity, dresser, wardrobe, shelf, and closet until you find one. Return to Mrs. Pankhurst and give it to her to complete the quest.
