Days Gone – It’s A Rifle, Not A Gun

• Track The Deer
• Take Copeland’s Gun
• Shoot The Deer
• Track The Dying Deer
• Gut The Deer

Drive To Location

Follow the objective to a wooden area in the southern part of the Cascade. When you arrive, a cutscene will trigger.

Track The Deer

Examine the point of interest in front of Copeland to pick up the deer’s trail. Follow the trail until you reach a pile of deer poop. Examine it and follow the new tracks that show up.

Take Copeland’s Gun

You will come to a rock ledge overlooking a clearing where the deer will be drinking water. When prompted, take Copeland’s gun from him.

Shoot The Deer

Shoot the deer while it’s drinking water. If you miss, shoot at him again.

Track The Dying Deer

Head down to the watering hole and examine the deer’s blood on the ground. Follow the blood trail to arrive at the deer’s carcass.

Gut The Deer

Examine the deer to gut it.
