File 01
Kinder is located next to the front driver side tire of a car in some wreckage to the left of where you placed the injured citizen on the gurney. Interact with the cat to rescue it.
File 02
Walnut is located around the part in the story where you have to save the group of people from the chimera. After the battle instead of following the path down the alleyway where the giant hand is waiting, head to the opposite side past the Coffee Shop to find another alleyway. At the end of the alleyway is a dead end with the dumpster containing the cat. You will need the Arm Legion to open the dumpster.
File 03
Milky can be found after defeating Diomedes in the Civilian Rescue red side case. Head down the stairs you took to locate the gate to save Isabella to find Milky just before the pipes that Akira broke.
File 04
Bran can be found while chasing Jena after the stairs fall during the main story, separating you from your squad, in Ark Mall. Head back down to the base of the stairs to find Bran near a chest in some debris from parts of the building that collapsed.
File 05
Smee can be found in the subway after you rescue the Shaken Woman and Injured Man during the Out from the Smoke blue side case on the bottom level underneath a yellow bench near track 3. To reach Smee, head to the middle platform on the top level of the subway with the officers. From there, head past the vending machines towards the third wounded civilian and enter train car 6 (across from third wounded civilian). Work your way through the train car, avoiding the lasers until you get to car 4. Exit car 4 and head to the platform on the bottom level to destroy the bulb. This will remove the lasers blocking access to the rest of the cars. Return to the train car and head to car 2. Exit car 2 and take a right to find the cat under the first yellow bench on the platform.
File 06
Danny can be found while chasing Douglas during the storm. You will pursue him up a ladder where enemies will be waiting for you at the top. After you defeat them, you will head outside to analyze a second security camera to get Douglas’ position. The cat will be located in a concrete building to the right of the security camera just before the metal bridge you will need to cross as part of the story.
File 07
Nero can be found on a large rooftop A/C unit. After exiting the elevator, head to the helipad where the homunculus fight takes place. Instead of taking the ladder up to the helipad, head around the building on the left (facing the helipad) to find another ladder you can shoot down using the Arrow Legion. Climb up this ladder and chain jump to the adjacent roof. Head left until you are across from the helipad then drop down on the A/C unit below to rescue Nero.
File 08
Chano can be found in the Rayleigh Plaza Parking Area under a car near Officer Mike. Talk to Officer Mike and select the option that you have cat food to acquire Chano.
File 09
Mia can be found in Z33 Harmony Square to the left of the Harmony Media Center. Mia will be next to a set of three trees in between some shopping buildings. You will need to roll the can near the dumpsters in her direction to distract her. While she is walking towards the can, use this opportunity to rescue her.
File 10
Yuki is acquired after completing the red side case, Lost Cat Search, from the Cat Lover in Z09 Lower Camp Level.
File 11
To locate Vanilla start from the entrance to Hal’s Hideout and head north past the tarp area with the Fretful Mother then through the alleyway. When you come to the open area, head left through the courtyard and follow the path to the ladder straight ahead. Climb the ladder up and walk to the end of the fire escape to find Vanilla in a cardboard box.
