Favor Giver: Sindri – Any of Sindri’s shops
Summary: Sindri tracked the Reavers to a stronghold. Head there and see if you can find the whetstone.

Head to the Northri Stronghold
Follow the objective on the map to Northri Stronghold. Use the entry stone to open the doors and gain access. Hop into the boat and follow the stream through the newly opened doors. A little ways down, you will discover the Northri Stronghold and a new dock that has a Sindri shop and a Mystic Gateway. Keep following the stream northeast to another dock to obtain a new objective.
Find a way to open the grate (gate)
From the dock follow the path jumping across the broken bridge. Keep moving forward until you come to a giant wooden wheel. Jump through the broken section of the wheel and follow the broken bridge to its center. Facing the wheel, throw Kratos’ axe at a chain near the center of the wheel holding it in place. This will free the wheel opening the gate.
Explore deeper into the stronghold
Return to the boat and pass through the newly opened gate. Dock on the land near the fire brazier. Throw your axe at the wooden scaffold to drop it to the ground. Climb up the rocks it was holding to reach a higher level of the stronghold. Head left (east) and keep moving straight down the path jumping over the ore pit to get a new objective.
Investigate the reaver ship
Lower the bridge to head down to the ship for a short cutscene where Atreus finds the whetstone. A traveler joins the party with some friends. Defeat them to proceed
Return to the boat
After defeating the enemies, use Atreus’ electric arrows to destroy the sap on the northeast side of the room. As you exit the ship and head towards the exit, turn left on the wooden steps to find an entrance to the middle of the ship. There you will find the Njord’s Oarsmen treasure map. Leave the ship and continue heading where the sap was to lift the pairs of gates to return to the boat. Between the set of gates, you will find A Son’s Regret Scroll. This will trigger the Time Heals All favor.
Find a different exit
Get in the boat and head to the room with the reaver ship you were just in. Move past the boat and keep following the stream to reach another dock. Exit the boat and use the chain to raise the gate blocking the waterway. Head past the gate to get a new objective.
Return to Sindri
Keep following the path to reach Sindri’s shop. Talk with him to complete the quest.
