Welcome to NGB and our Shin Megami Tensei V walkthrough on Shinagawa Station and the Lahmu boss fight! Here you’ll find everything you’ll need to breeze through this area!
After you complete A Golden Opportunity main quest, return to Konan 2nd Block and make your way to the objective in the northwestern part of the area to reach Shinagawa Station. Along the way, you’ll find the below collectibles.

When you reach the objective, a cutscene will trigger leading to a fight with Lahmu. You’ll first have to defeat its 6 Level 38 tentacles that are weak to Force and Light, resist Fire and block Dark. After cutting off all the tentacles, you will then target Lahmu directly. It’s weak to Force and Light, resists Ice and Fire and blocks Dark. It can use Ice, Electric, Dark and Almighty attacks. For the next phase, it is weak to Fire, resists Force and Ice and blocks Dark. It can use Electric, Ice, Dark, Physical and Almighty attacks. It can also inflict confusion on the party. After you defeat the boss, a cutscene will trigger. Also, Vile Lahmu will unlock for fusion.
Use the Leyline Crossing at a Fount to travel to Tokyo – Medical Research Lab then head to the stairs. Once in the Bethel Meeting Room, approach the objective to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, head to the Jouin High School Dorm to trigger another cutscene.
When the cutscene concludes, head to the Terminal Room and use the terminal in the middle to travel to Da’at: Minato – Nagatacho. Once there, head north until you spoke a Male Researcher on the right side of the path that you can speak with. He’ll say “If you’re heading to Chuo, head down this incline, then follow the subway line that runs under the Diet Building.” Follow his instructions to move to the next area called Ginza!
