Welcome to NGB and our Shin Megami Tensei V walkthrough for the A Golden Opportunity main quest. Here you’ll find everything you’ll need to easily breeze through this quest!
Once in Gotenyama, explore the below items then continue towards the objective to stumble across the Fairy Village Leyline Fount.

Just past the leyline a cutscene will trigger. As you make your way deeper into the Fairy Village towards the next objective, make sure to speak with Cait Sith along the river to learn about a hidden subquest called Birds of a Feather!
After you speak with the king and queen, you’ll need to set out in search for the goddess Idun to gather 3 of her golden apples. This will begin A Golden Opportunity main quest! Before you leave the village, set out in search of the below collectibles!

Fairy Village Miman
When you’re ready, work your way to the objective in South Shinagawa to find Idun along the river. Speak with her then head to the Abscess in the middle of North Shinagawa to fight 1 level 37 Thoth. It is weak to dark and blocks fire. Defeat it to unlock the map then make your way to each of the objectives marking the locations of the apples.

The demon power absorption point is located in the northeastern part of North Shinagawa.
After you’ve collected all 3 apples, make your way back to the fairy king to hand them over to complete the quest and receive 12,000 Macca.
