Welcome to NGB and our Shin Megami Tensei V walkthrough on The Augmented Goddess main quest. Here you’ll find everything you’ll need to easily breeze through this quest!
After completing the Hellfire Highway main quest, head into Kanda Bridge to trigger a cutscene with Ichiro. Continue forward through the area. After going through the tunnel, you’ll see the Tokyo Station leyline ahead. As you approach it, Decarabia will speak with you and demand Macca in exchange for the secret of the lady’s strength. We told it that they would tell us for free and it did so save your Macca! It’ll tell you there are 7 hidden devices. Again, it’ll ask you for 20,000 Macca but this time it will be to find the devices for you. Again, we told it that they will tell us for free and it did! After the scene ends, you’ll accept The Augmented Goddess main quest!
The 7 devices can be found at the following locations:
- Otemachi
- Tokyo Station
- Ginza
- Nihonbashi
- Kanda
- Sotokanda
- Kanda-no-yashiro
While on the hunt for the devices, make your way to the Abscess in Otemachi to fight a Level 50 Yurlungur. It’s weak to Fire and blocks Electric. This will unlock the map to make it easier to explore the below collectibles!

The power absorption point can be found in the northwestern tip of the map in Kanda Bridge.
For the A Power Beyond Control subquest, you’ll be sent to Shinagawa North Pier in Shinagawa just east of the Konan 3rd Block leyline. Once there, you can find the below collectibles!

Shinagawa North Pier Miman
This Miman can be found in the rubble behind the demon Aitvaras.
After destroying all 7 devices, make your way to the objective in Tokyo Station to trigger a fight a Level 52 Ishtar. She is weak to Force and Dark and blocks Electric and Light. She uses Electric and Holy skills. Defeat her to complete the quest. You’ll also unlock Lady Ishtar for fusion!
Afterwards, approach the building for a cutscene then use the red beam to move to Castle: 1st Stratum!
