Below is a walkthrough of Chapter 1 in Shadowverse Champion’s Battle.
Go to the academy!
When you gain control of the protagonist, head to the nearby road and press A to travel to Tensei Academy. This will trigger a cutscene.
Get your phone from the dorm!
Using the R button, sprint over to the stairs and head down to the 1st floor of Tensei Academy. From there, head through the front door to the School Gates then down the walkway to reach the road. Take a left and follow the objective to arrive at the dorms. Enter the dorms and speak with Kobayashi to obtain your phone.
Hurray back to the classroom!
With your phone in hand, return to the your classroom on the 2nd floor of Tensei Academy to trigger a cutscene.
Practice match with Mimori
This acts as the tutorial to Shadowverse so just follow the instructions as Mimori explains the basics of the game.
Practice match with Hiro
This match is the advanced tutorial for Shadowverse so like before just follow the instructions from Hiro.
Go to the courtyard!
Head to the 1st floor of the academy then make you way to the east side to find the green doors leading to the courtyard.
Talk to Hiro!
Make your way past the fountain to find Hiro near the back of the courtyard and speak with him. Follow his instructions to create your first deck! You’ll obtain the deck code for Beginner Dragoncraft Deck.
Complete a deck code!
First access the Shadowvendor next to Hiro and follow his instructions to purchase a Sky Dragon Ethica from the Cards tab and a Classic Card Pack from the Card Packs tab. After that, challenge Hiro to a match and defeat him to obtain the rest of the cards you need for the deck code. Follow his instructions to create your new deck and set it as active.

Gather info on the Shadowverse club!
Make your way to Tensei Academy 1F then locate and speak to the Ardent Bookworm standing next to a bulletin board. She’ll tell you that she heard the clubroom is next to the science room. Next head up to the second floor and speak with the Honor Student standing next to the Teacher’s Office. He’ll tell you about a rumor that the clubroom is on the third floor of the north building. Finally head up to the third floor via the stairs at the end of the hallways. Speak with the Brainy First-Year two times on the southeastern side of the floor to learn that the advisor is a pretty lax individual. Once you have talked to all three students, a cutscene will trigger.

- 50 Rupies, Snippy Gardener x1 , Snippy Gardener sleeves and emblem
1st Floor Data Boxes
- Classic x1 – on the ground near the lockers
- 50 Rupies, Dragonbound Mage x1, Dragonbound Mage sleeves and emblem in the Library
Go to the teacher’s office!
Head for the second floor and enter the Teacher’s Office on the west side of the area. Choose Mr. Makise and Third Floor by the science room when prompted with a choice.
2nd Floor Data Boxes
- 100 Rupies – in Teacher’s Office
- 100 Rupies end of northern hallway
Go to the Shadowverse clubroom!
Head to the third floor and enter the ??? Room at the end of the northern hallway by the Science Room leading to another cutscene.
3rd Floor Data Boxes
- 50 Rupies, Commence Experiment x1, Commence Experiment sleeve and emblem – in the Science Room
- 50 Rupies, Inferno Dragon x1, Inferno Dragon emblem and sleeve
Defeat Student Council Boy C
Play against and defeat Student Council Boy C.
Go to your room!
Head to your room to rest for the night.

Eat the food Kobayashi made!
Interact with the food on the desk to complete Chapter 1.
