Welcome to NGB and our Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth Sodachi’s Revenge Substory guide! Here we’ll cover how to start this substory and what you’ll need to do in order to take down Joker!
How to Start Sodachi’s Revenge
Location: Honolulu / Little Japan on the east side of Fuji St
To start this substory you’ll first need to complete substory 40 A True Gym Battle. Once that’s been done, level up your Sujimon League rank to 35. This will cause Kasuga to get a message from Joker. Head to the dojo on Fuji St then enter the dojo to officially start the substory. After a cutscene, you’ll have to wait a bit for Sujimon Sensei to find the location of Joker’s hideout.
Rank Up!
While you let sensei do his thing, you’ll want to continue fighting Gold Rank Sujimon Trainers to reach rank 40. After doing that, he’ll message you saying he found Joker’s location. Return to the dojo for a quick cutscene, then you’ll be free to head to Joker’s hideout.
Take Down the Joker!
Travel to Shipper’s Warf at the southwestern part of Honolulu to reach the docks. There you’ll find the entrance to Joker’s hideout. Head inside to be thrown into battle with Joker’s men. You’ll have to do 3 consecutives fights where your Sujimon won’t be healed. Their average party level is 35 so make sure you are prepared. You can find the layouts of their teams below:
Battle 1
- Active: Nature (20) / Nature (21) / Shadow (20)
- Reserve: Shadow (20)
Battle 2
- Active: Nature (29) / Light (30) / Shadow (28)
- Reserve: Nature (30)
Battle 3
- Active: Shadow (30) / Shadow (30) / Frost (29)
- Reserve: Nature (30) / Shadow (31)
After defeating all 3 waves of opponents, you’ll start the fight with Joker.
Average Lv: 38
- Active: Water (40) / Nature (38) / Shadow (37)
- Reserve: Shadow (39) / Nature (38) / Shadow (40)
Once you defeat Joker, head to the back of the hideout to check on Kuraki and Yokawa. This will lead to an actual fight against Joker and a trio of his minions. They are all level 11 so they shouldn’t be too hard to defeat. You can use fire based attacks to deal extra damage to his minions. After they have all been taken care of, one last cutscene will trigger leading to the completion of the substory.
Rewards: Sujimon max level increased to 40
