Welcome to NGB and our Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth A True Gym Battle Substory guide! Here we’ll cover how to start this substory and what you’ll need to do in order to take down Ace!
How to Start A True Gym Battle
Location: Honolulu / Little Japan in a condo on the eastern part of Fuji St
To start this substory, you’ll first need to complete substory 39 The Queen’s Subilee then get your Sujimon rank up to 30. Once you’ve done that, the Sujimon Professor will message Kasuga that it’s time to take on Ace of the Discreet Four. Travel to his base in the condos at east end of Fuji St in Japantown then approach the entrance to trigger an event that will officially kick off the substory.
Time to Take Down Ace!
When it ends, enter the gym to start a cutscene where your group will challenge Ace’s dojo. As with the other fights, you’ll have to take on a pair of disciples before you can face Ace. Speak with the first one on the right side of the dojo and challenge him to a battle.
Average Lv: 26
- Active: Light (26) / Blaze (25) / Blaze 27
- Reserve: Nature (25) / Blaze (28)
After defeating the disciple, you’ll have to face Ace’s Captain next. Speak with him and challenge the man to a battle.
Average Lv: 28
- Active: Light (30) / Blaze (28) / Blaze (27)
- Reserve: Nature (29 / Blaze (30)
With both of his disciples defeated, it’s time to face Ace. Head to the back of the dojo to speak with him then challenge him to a battle!
Average Lv: 29
- Active: Nature (28) / Blaze (30) / Nature (28)
- Reserve: Light (30) / Light (28) / Blaze (30)
Once you defeat Ace, a cutscene will trigger leading to the completing of the substory.
Rewards: Sujimon max level increased to 40
