Below is a walkthrough for the Ushi no Kokumairi side quest in Ghostwire: Tokyo. To obtain this quest, speak with the spirit north of Kirigaoka Shrine in the woods.
Find the straw doll
Travel north to the search area. Use the square button to activate your senses to find the specter hammering.
As you approach her, enemies will spawn defeat them then speak with the specter again. Afterwards, use your hand seal on her.
Speak with the man killed by the curse
Return to the spirit you acquired the quest from and speak with him. Afterwards, the quest will complete.
