Below are the quests that are part of The Outlander Who Caught the Wind Archon questline in Genshin Impact.
Wanderer’s Trail
Obtained: Starting guest of the game
Objective: Follow Paimon
This quest acts as one of the tutorials for the game. Follow along the beach heading towards Paimon. When you reach her, interact with the Teleport Waypoint to her right to activate it. Once that is done, follow the nearby mountain path to the end. When you reach Paimon, jump onto the rock face to start climbing it and make your way to the top. Head forward a short way to complete the quest.
Rewards: 225 Adventure EXP, 975 Mora, 500 Character EXP
Bird’s Eye View
Obtained: Complete the Wanderer’s Trail quest
Objective: Follow the path
Make your way up the mountain pass. When near the end, Paimon will take off towards a cliff overlooking a town. Approach her to trigger a cutscene. When it ends, follow behind Paimon as she leads you to the Statue of the Seven. Swim to the center of the lake to reach the statue then approach Paimon to trigger another cutscene.
Rewards: 225 Adventure EXP, 975 Mora, 500 Character EXP
Unexpected Power
Obtained: Complete the Bird’s Eye View quest
Objective: Unleash the Elemental Skill
Follow the prompts to use your various powers. You’ll use your Palm Vortex then charge it up to unleash an AoE attack and finally the Gust Surge skill.
Rewards: 250 Adventure EXP, 20 Primogems, 1100 Mora, 10 Sweet Madame, 10 Teyvat Fried Egg, 575 Character EXP
Forest Rendezvous
Obtained: Complete the Unexpected Power quest
Objective: Go to Mondstadt
Head towards the town until the giant blue dragon flies overhead then follow it towards the heart of the forest to trigger a cutscene. When it ends, climb up on the nearby rock to collect the Crimson Crystal.
Rewards: 250 Adventure EXP, 1100 Mora, 575 Character EXP
Wind-Riding Knight
Obtained: Complete the Forest Rendezvous quest
Objective: Keep heading towards Mondstadt
Follow the forest path south towards the town to trigger a cutscene. When it ends, you’ll receive Amber as a playable character. Shoot the enemy with Amber’s bow then loot the chest that appears and follow the objective.
Rewards: 275 Adventure EXP, 1200 Mora, 625 Character EXP
Going Upon the Breeze
Obtained: Complete the Wind-Riding Knight quest
Objective: Defeat the nearby hilichurls
When you reach the objective, you’ll run into a hilichurl. Defeat it then clear out the monster’s camp. When the last enemy has been defeated a cutscene will trigger. Loot the chest then head for the city. When you head through the main gates, another cutscene will trigger.
Rewards: 275 Adventure EXP, 20 Primogems, 1800 Mora, Recurve Bow, 925 Character EXP, 8 Enhancement Ore
City of Freedom
Obtained: Complete the Going Upon the Breeze quest
Objective: Go to the location designated by Amber
Follow the objective to the upper level of Mondstadt. You should end up in a massive courtyard surrounded by stone pillars with a giant statue in the middle. When you approach the area the object leads to, a cutscene will trigger leading to a tutorial on gliding. Follow Amber’s instructions to start another cutscene.
Rewards: 250 Adventure EXP, 1626 Mora, 850 Character EXP, 7 Enhancement Ore
Dragon Storm
Obtained: Complete the City of Freedom quest
Objective: Fend off Stormterror
Fly behind the dragon using the wind to damage him. After doing enough damage, the beast will flee leading to another cutscene. When you regain control of your traveler, follow the objective west to reach the Knights HQ. This will complete the quest.
Rewards: 275 Adventure EXP, 20 Primogems, 24000 Mora, 1250 Character EXP,
Knights of Favonius
Obtained: Complete the Dragon Storm quest
Objective: Enter the Knights of Favonius Headquarters
Enter the Knights HQ to trigger a cutscene.
Rewards: 225 Adventure EXP, 1950 Mora, 1025 Character EXP, 9 Enhancement Ore
Unlocks: Shop and Wish functionality
Winds of the Past
Obtained: Complete the Knights of Favonius quest
Objective: Meet Amber at the temple
Travel to the Temple of the Falcon by following the road east out of Mondstadt or using the teleport Waypoint near it. Speak with Amber then enter the temple and choose the “Deep Within the Temple of the Falcon” domain. Work your way through the temple using Amber to burn the thorns blocking your path. When you get to the end, break the Dragon’s Breath, loot the chest and exit the domain to complete the quest.
Rewards: 225 Adventure EXP, 20 Primogems, 3000 Mora, 1550 Character EXP, 3 Fine Enhancement Ore
Crash Course
Obtained: Complete the Knights of Favonius quest
Objective: Meet Kaeya at the temple
Travel to the far east of Starfell Valley, south of the Thousand Winds Temple, to reach Kaeya at the Temple of the Wolf. Speak with him then enter the temple and choose the “Deep Within the Temple of the Wolf” domain. Approach Kaeya in the temple to have him added to the party then work your way through the temple using his ice powers. When you reach the end, destroy the Dragon’s Breath to complete the quest.
Rewards: 275 Adventure EXP, 20 Primogems, 3000 Mora, Kaeya, Traveler’s Handy Sword, 1550 Character EXP, 3 Fine Enhancement Ore
Sparks Amongst the Pages
Obtained: Complete the Knights of Favonius quest
Objective: Meet Lisa at the temple
Travel to the southeast of Mondstadt to reach the Temple of the Lion at Galesong Hill. Speak with Lisa then enter the temple and choose the “Deep Within the Temple of the Lion” domain. Once in the domain, speak with Lisa to have her join the party then use her Electro powers to work your way through the temple. When you reach the end, destroy the Dragon’s Breath, loot the chest and exit the domain to complete the quest.
Rewards: 275 Adventure EXP, 20 Primogems, 3000 Mora, Lisa, Otherworldly Story, 1550 Character EXP, 3 Fine Enhancement Ore
Completing Winds of the Past, Crash Course and Sparks Amongst the Pages will complete The Outlander Who Caught the Wind Archon quest chain.
