Welcome to NGB and our Dragon’s Dogma 2 walkthrough on the Readvent of Calamity quest. Here you’ll find everything you’ll need to breeze through this quest.
How to obtain Readvent of Calamity quest
To begin Readvent of Calamity quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll first need to visit Vernworth. After reaching Vernworth, return to Melve where you’ll find a dragon attacking the town.
Readvent of Calamity Objectives
Repel the Dragon
The dragon will have numerous health bars, however, you’ll only need to deplete 2 bars for it to flee. You’ll do extra damage by focusing your attention on the boils covering the dragon’s body. Once enough damage has been done, the dragon will fly away and Ulrika will speak with you. Afterwards, you’ll meet Sigurd. Speak with him to unlock the Mystic Spearhand vocation!
Visit Melve From Time to Time
After awhile return to Melve and head to Ulrika’s house to trigger a cutscene between her and a member of the court. When it concludes speak with her to trigger a cutscene during which you’ll spend the night. Once you awake, speak with Lennart.
Find Ulrika
Travel to Harve Village which can be found west of Vernworth. You’ll come here during the Monster Culling quest given to you by Captain Brant. In order to get her to show up, you’ll first need to complete the Scaly Invaders quest. Once done, you’ll find Ulrika across from Chandler’s General Store. Speak with her.
Inform Lennart of Ulrika’s wellbeing
Travel all the way back to Melve. You can take the North Vernworth Oxcart Station if you’d like to get there a bit quicker. When you arrive, head to Ulrika’s House on the southwestern side of town. Go inside and speak with Lennart to complete the quest. As a reward, you’ll receive a Ring of Grit and 4500G.
