Below is a walkthrough for the Level 20 errand quest called The Music in Metal in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this, speak with Sokorra in Scalding Spear.

 

Talk to Korreh in Plainsong

Korreh can be found on the northern side of Plainsong. Speak with him.

 

Meet Jaxx Southwest of Plainsong

Follow the objective southwest of Plainsong to find Jaxx fighting some machines.

 

Kill the Machines

Defeat the enemies.

 

Talk to Jaxx

Speak with him.

 

Follow the Longleg’s Call

Travel west up into the mountains then climb up the cliff to reach the top.

 

Kill the Machines

Defeat the enemies atop the cliff.

 

Gather the Longleg Throat

Loot the corpse of the Longleg.

 

Talk to Jaxx

Speak with Jaxx before heading back to Plainsong.

 

Return to Korreh

Return to Plainsong and speak with Korreh.

 

Craft the Instrument

Head to the workbench nearby then craft the instrument under the Special tab.

 

Give the Instrument to Korreh

Interact with Korreh to complete the quest.

Horizon Forbidden West – In Bloom Errand Quest

Below is a walkthrough for the Level 18 In Bloom errand quest in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, speak with Darikka near Tallneck: The Shining Wastes.

 

Gather 3 Scarletstems

Travel to the field of flowers near The Shining Wates Tallneck and collect 3 Scarletstems. They are the pinky purple flowers.

 

Go to Plainsong

Travel to Plainsong.

 

Talk to the Herbalist

The Herbalist can be found in the southeastern part of the village. Speak with him.

 

Go to Riverhymn

Travel north to Riverhymn.

 

Find Nilo

Speak with Jia near the entrance to Riverhymn.

 

Return to Darikka

Head back to Darikka near The Shining Wastes Tallneck to complete the quest.

Horizon Forbidden West – Call and Response Errand Quest

Below is a walkthrough for the Level 18 errand quest called Call and Response in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, speak with Gerrah at The Bulwark after completing The Broken Sky main quest.

 

Go to the Watchtower at the Cold Rushes

Travel west of The Bulwark towards the objective to find the watchtower.

 

Talk to Kivva

Speak with her in the watchtower.

 

Go to the Start of the Climb

After the cutscene, head northwest towards the next objective.

 

Go to the Watchtower at the Top of the Mountain

Scale the mountain to reach the top!

 

Kill the Machines

Defeat the enemies atop the mountain.

 

Find the Watchtower Soldier

Head to the watchtower and interact with the corpse near it.

 

Return to the Watchtower by the Waterfall

Jump off the ledge of the watchtower and glide down to the waterfall towards the battle.

 

Kill the Glinthawks

Defeat the enemies at the watchtower.

 

Talk to Kivva

Speak with Kivva on the platform of the watchtower to complete the quest.

Horizon Forbidden West – The Taste of Victory Errand Quest

Below is a walkthrough for the Level 15 errand quest called The Taste of Victory in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, speak with the lady near the campfire at Stone Crest.

 

Talk to Pentalla at Salt Bite

Travel to Salt Bite, which is northwest of the Scalding Spear, and speak with Pentalla.

 

Gather 6 Bird Meat

Defeat birds around the world as you travel then loot their corpses to find the Bird Meat.

 

Gather 5 Bird Eggs

Travel north of Salt Bite to find an island in the middle of the lake. Loot the nests to find the eggs. Please note that there will be an additional egg on the smaller island just north of the big island.

 

Kill the Widemaw & Glinthawks

As you explore the island, you’ll come across these machines. They are optional enemies to fight.

 

Deliver the Ingredients o Pentalla

Return to Pentalla at Salt Bite and speak with her to complete the quest.

Gather 2 Bristleback Tusks

Bristlebacks can be found down the road north of the campfire outside of The Maw of the Arena.

 

Go to the Rollerback Site

Travel southeast of The Maw of the Arena to the objective in the desert.

 

Kill the Rollerback

Defeat the machines in the area, specifically the Rollerback.

 

Deliver the Machine Parts to Kalla

Head back to Kalla at The Maw of the Arena and speak with her to complete the quest.

Go to Warend’s Last Known Location

Travel west to the Fireclaw Site.

 

Scan the Area for Tracks

Scan the path using your Focus to find the tracks.

 

Follow the Tracks

Follow the tracks to reach some machines.

 

Kill the Machines

Defeat the enemies.

 

Examine the Corpse

Loot the body in the water in front of the Thunderjaw.

 

Investigate the Area

Use your Focus to find the Disc Launcher.

 

Kill the Clamberjaws

Defeat the enemies, again.

 

Loot the Scrap Pile

Climb up the waterfall and loot the scrap pile to find a key.

 

Return to Danur

Head back to Danur at the Salvage Yard and speak with him to complete the quest.

Horizon Forbidden West – Mine Launchers Contract

Below is a walkthrough for the Level 30 Mine Launchers contract in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, approach the Salvage Contractor: The Raintrace to find people fighting a pair of Stalkers. After defeating them, the leader will ask you to find the mine launchers.

 

Search the Camp for Mine Launchers

Travel northeast of the Salvage Contractor: The Raintrace towards the objective.

 

Gather 3 Stalker Mine Launchers

Shoot off 3 Stalker Mine Launchers, which are located on the sides of their back legs then defeat the enemies. Afterwards, collect the launchers. If you defeat the pair of Launchers before shooting off all 3 launchers, the objective will update, taking you to another site with Stalkers.

 

Give the Mine Launchers to the Oseram Leader

Travel back to the Salvage Yard and speak with Danur to complete the quest.

Below is a walkthrough for the Level 20 Speedy Lancehorns contract in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, speak with Handa at the Salvage Contractor: The Greenswell after completing Ancient Relics, Ravager Cannon, Property Retrieval and Plowhorns and Plants.

 

Go to the Lancehorn Site

Travel to the objective south of the Salvage Yard.

 

Kill 6 Lancehorns

Defeat 6 of the Lancehorns and loot one.

 

Return to Handa

Return to Handa.

 

Kill the Machines

Defeat the enemies attacking Handa.

 

Return to Handa

Speak with Handa to complete the quest.
