Below is a walkthrough for the Level 28 side quest called The Valley of the Fallen in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, speak with Nakko at The Maw of the Arena.
Go to the Entrance of the Valley of the Fallen
Travel to the objective south of Fall’s Edge.
Talk to Ivvira
Speak with her up on a ledge.
Go to the Valley of the Fallen
Follow the path along the mountain to reach the Valley of the Fallen then head inside.
Go to the Waterfall
Follow the path, passing the dead machines, until you reach the objective.
Kill the Machines Near the Waterfall
Defeat the machines wandering around the waterfall!
Search for a Lure near the Waterfall
Approach the top of the waterfall to find the lure.
Override the Lure
Interact with the lure to override it!
Go to the Area South of the Horus
Head southwest towards the next objective.
Kill the Machines near the Horus
Defeat the large machines in the area near Horus.
Search for the Lure near the Horus
The lure can be found under a rock overhang with a tree on the top.

Travel east to the third lure’s location.

Go to Garokkah’s Camp
Travel to the objective northeast of Thornmarsh.
Investigate the Camp
Use your Focus and examine the blood and a jar of oil.
Follow Garokkah’s Tracks
Follow the trail until you reach a machine fighting someone.
Kill the Machine
Defeat the Clawstrider!
Talk to Garokkah
Speak with him.
Follow Garokkah
Follow behind him to the squad in peril, defeating the machines along the way.
Talk to Garokkah
Speak with Garokkah near the memorial.
Scan the Memorial
Use your Focus on the memorial.
Follow the Tracks
Follow the tracks to find some machines.
Kill the Machines
Defeat the enemies.
Recover the Memorial Marker
Loot the scavenger scrap piles until you find the marker. Look for the purple marker sticking out of one.
Give the Marker to Garokkah
Return to Garokkah and speak with him.
Return to Fenirra
Travel to Tide’s Reach and speak with Fenirra to complete the quest.
Below is a walkthrough for the Level 15 side quest called The Gate of the Vanquished in Horizon Forbidden West.
Meet Jetakka at the Gate of the Vanquished
Travel to the Gate of the Vanquished, which is southwest of Scalding Spear near the Tallneck, and speak with Jetakka. During the cutscene, you’ll have to side with either Yarra or Drakka. This choice is your personal preference. Whoever you don’t side with dies.
Defeat Yarra or Drakka (whoever you didn’t side with)
Below is a walkthrough for the Level 30 side quest called What was Lost in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, speak with Kotallo at the base after obtaining Faro’s Tomb main quest.
Go to the Meeting Place
Travel to the Campfire near the Ninmah Research Lab.
Call Kotallo at the Campfire
Interact with the campfire to have Kotallo meet you there.
Enter the Zenith Lab
Sneak past or defeat the machines as you head to the Ninmah Research Lab. Enter via the tunnel in the mountain.
Go to the Storage Room
Follow the objective to the storage room, defeating the machines along the way.
Search the Storage Room for an Access Point
Facing the console where you enter the code, it will be behind you on the left.
Examine the Console
Interact with the console.
Kill the Specters
Defeat the enemies that spawn.
Find the Components
Make your way up to the second floor and follow the objective until you come to a vent. Pull it down then head through the shaft. Head down the broken metal walkway then take a left through a hole in the wall. In this room, there will be a vent in the ceiling. Pull it down then head through it. Eventually, you’ll drop down into a storage room. Exit the room via the door to enter a room with an assembly line. Head to the east side of the room to find an Ancient Cache that you can pry open. Do so to retrieve the components.
Below is a walkthrough for the Level 25 side quest called The Second Verse in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, speak with Zo in the Base after completing the Cradle of Echoes main quest.
Go to the Meeting Place
Travel to the Campfire north of the Maw of the Arena near the Vista Point Tower then call Zo using the focus.
Go to the Grimhorn Site
Follow the road north.
Kill the machines
Defeat the enemies.
Gather Grimhorn Cores
Loot the 2 Grimhorns to retrieve their cores.
Give the Cores to Zo
Speak with Zo nearby.
Talk with Zo at the Base
Return to the Base and speak with Zo.
Install the Reboot Code on the Land-Gods
Travel north of the Base past the High Turning outpost to find the Land-God Do trapped in some vines. To free it, use the Vine Cutter. For the Land-God So, travel east of the Base to the objective at the Shrine at the Lake. The Land-God is submerged underwater. Clear the debris by prying it off. For the Land-God, travel to the Shrine at Cinnabar Sands, which is south of Plainsong. Once you get there, examine the bodies near the altar. Head southwest of the shrine to find the Land-God Ti under a giant rock. Defeat the machines here then attempt to install the reboot code. Defeat the Stormbird that appears.
Talk to Zo
Speak with Zo.
Meet Zo at Plainsong
Travel to Plainsong then speak with Zo to complete the quest.
Below is a walkthrough for the Level 25 Underwater Salvage contract in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, speak with Danur at Salvage Contractor: The Raintrace after completing the Colleague and Key contract.
Go to the Sunken Ruins
The Sunken Ruins can be found in the ocean northwest of Thornmarsh.
Search for 4 Salvage Underwater
Once you arrive at the objective, use your focus to spot the salvage and gather it! Three were in vehicles and one was in the structure on the north side. It’s accessible after creating an entrance by prying some rocks.
Return to Danur
Head back to Danur and speak with him to complete the quest.
Below is a walkthrough for the Level 30 Reinforced Components contract in Horizon Forbidden West. To obtain this quest, speak with Danur at Salvage Contractor: The Raintrace after completing the Colleague and Key contract.
Go to the Behemoth Site
Travel west to the objective all the way along the coast.
Wait for the Spikesnouts to Fully Reinforce the Behemoth
Focus on dealing some damage to the Behemoth while avoiding the Spikesnouts. Eventually, they will start shooting red smoking canisters at the Behemoth. The objective will update when it’s fully reinforced.
Kill the Behemoth While It’s Fully Reinforced
Quickly defeat the Behemoth before the red icon indicating that it has a buff on it disappears.
Loot the Behemoth
Loot the corpse of the Behemoth.
Return to Danur
Head back to Danur and speak with him to complete the quest.
Below is a walkthrough for the Finale – The Tale of the Heart’s Domain in Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden.
Omega Isle
After the conclusion of Chapter 4, head to the second floor of the Spirit Spire to check on Lac. Afterwards, you’ll have the option to return to the Heart Domain to defeat the Queen. Instead of interacting with the altar again, now would be a great time to do any clean up that you have! Click here for some trophy guides if you’re interested! When you’re ready, interact with the altar!
Heart’s Domain
Upon interacting with the altar, you’ll be teleported to the throne room. Speak with the Queen to begin a fight against her shadow that has 10 HP. Defeat it as part of the scripted fight with Starlight Veil. Afterwards, speak with the Queen again to use the secret path, leaving the Land of Woe behind! Travel just south of Anxietown to find Laty.
Next, travel to the west to find Laty near Burdenburg. Speak with her again then tell her that you want to keep exploring and will return to Lac in the throne room without assistance. Make your way to the Land of Woe where you can find the below chests!

When you’re ready, head to the throne room and speak with Lac. During the cutscene, Laty will express her feelings. You have to tell her that you love her as well in order to progress the story. Otherwise, it’s game over for you!
Broken Heart’s Domain
When the cutscene concludes, head northwest and land on the glowing card.
During the scene, we asked the woman if she was Laty’s mother and she smiled and nodded. Continue following the linear path around, passing Burdenburg. South of Burdenburg a brief cutscene with Laty’s mother will trigger. Afterwards, continue heading south then swing east. Step on the bridge to trigger another scene. When it concludes, make your way north to the Spirit Spire. Upon landing on the spire’s card, a cutscene will trigger.
Spirit Spire
Once in the spire, head directly north and pass through the door. Head directly north to find Laty. Once she joins your party, enemies will randomly spawn again! Make your way to the west to locate the stairs and take them to the second floor. You’ll have to decide here who you’d like to join your party to assist you up until the final fight.
Choose your favorite pair. If you need to return to the real world for anything before proceeding, interact with the altar. When you’re ready to progress, continue exploring the spire to find the below chests.

Gemstone Ring II – Spirit Spire: 3rd Floor – Northwestern side
Heavenly Guardian – Spirit Spire: 4th Floor – To reach this chest, you must push 2 boulders into the water then head southeast to find it!
When you reach the 4th floor, you’ll come to an area in the southern part that has stelas lining the way. Every time you pass between the stelas, you’ll have to fight enemies with decent amounts of HP so be prepared! On the 5th floor, there will be an Armorer and Item Shop for you to stock up at one last time. On the 6th floor, you’ll encounter Lac just before the altar. Interact with him to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, approach the altar when you’re ready for the final boss!!
After interacting with the altar, you’ll be unable to save and must clear all the enemies from this room. Interact with Laty’s parents for a full heal anytime you need it after a battle as you work your way through this floor, fighting all the enemies. As a note, whatever spirit you fight, the corresponding maiden and attendant will join you! When you land on a purple glowing card, a fight with the Onyx Spirit will trigger. It is weak to light, resists dark and has 300 HP. After you defeat it, move on to the red glowing cards (after you heal again of course!). You’ll then be up against the Crimson Spirit. It has 230 HP and resists fire. Land on the card with the blue or white glowing outline to trigger a fight with the Ivory Spirit, which has 220 HP and the Azure Spirit, which has 240 HP. This fight is a bit different as you’ll only be fighting with the Ivory maiden, her attendant, Azure maiden and her attendant. Your main character and Laty will sit this one out! The Azure Spirit is weak to lightning. If these spirits are challenging, just skip right to them the next time you reload then backtrack to the others. For the last and final fight against Lac, you’ll be able to choose the maiden and her attendant that fights with you. Lac has a whopping 500 HP!! Defeat him! During the cutscene that follows, you’ll have to select to “leave her to it”. When you gain control, speak with all the people in the room then interact with the altar to make your choice on the ending. You’ll have to choose between friendship, family and love. Erase 2 and the remaining one will be the ending. After the cutscene, the game will conclude!

Follow the Red River
Head to the mountains southwest of Thornmarsh near a Charger Site.
Kill the Machines
When you reach the objective, you’ll see Tenakth fighting some machines. Help them defeat the machines!
Talk to Atekka
Head on over and speak with Atekka.
Climb up the Waterfall
On the right side of the waterfall a little ways back, there will be a spot you can use to climb up the waterfall.
Kill the Rebels and their Machines
Defeat all the enemies in the camp.
Examine the Device
Examine the device on the dock near the damn.
Investigate the Rebel Camp
Use your focus and examine the Ballista overlooking the waterfall. Also examine the Datapoint on a wooden platform overlooking the rebel camp. Examine the scrap pile near the corpse of the Ravanger.
Destroy the Dam
Scan the dam with your focus then use your Pullcaster to pull up some debris from the top of the dam while Atekka uses the ballista.
Talk to Atekka at Thornmarsh
Glide down to Thornmarsh and speak with Atekka to complete the quest.

Scan the Vista Point Tower
The tower can be found in the northern part of the Isle of Spires.
Find Where the Vista Point Image was Taken
The image was taken underwater on the southeastern side of the ruins. You’re looking for a glowing point to boost off of next to some glowing plants underwater.
