Welcome to NGB and our Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes walkthrough for The Coming Storm main quest. Here you’ll find everything you’ll need to breeze through this quest.
Before setting out to Yarnaan, make your way to the inn at your HQ to find Simmere, the chef. Speak with her to begin the cook-off. Once you win this one, you’ll receive the Pot-au-feu Recipe!
When you’re ready to progress the story, head to Yarnaan then make your way up to 3F to trigger a cutscene.
Hold off the revenants until the villagers escape
Take the platform down to 1F then approach the eastern exit for another cutscene during which Lilwn Rowad Fawud will join you! Afterwards, you’ll need to defeat numerous waves of Corpse Guards and Corpse Witches.
Turn back to Athrabalt
Once you’re finally done fending off all the waves, you’ll find yourself in Norristar. Head on down to Athrabalt.
Go to the castle
After the quick cutscene with Maxim, head north to the castle to meet with Perrielle. Euma Siarith and Kassius will join you!
Rest at the inn
Do as the objective says and rest at the inn!
Go to Melridge in the castle
When you awake, visit Melridge in the castle to learn the plan he’s cooked up!
Head for Snowpeak Pass
When you’re ready, exit town and head north to find Snowpeak Pass.

In the cave, had north to trigger a cutscene as you approach the save point. During the cutscene, you’ll learn that there are 3 missing children still in the cave that are in need of rescuing!
1st Missing Child – Livvie
Follow along the path to receive a tutorial on how to encase your self in ice to slide down the path, jumping over the cracks. When you attempt this, you’ll crash land to the center of the area. Head along the path a short way until you spot a greenish icicle with a crack in it.
Your party will remark that if you have enough momentum in the ice ball, you’ll be able to break it! Head south and take the map transition to the next area. You’ll find yourself on the western side of the map near the starting point. Trap yourself in ice to make the jump then head down the stairs to reach the spot where you first encased yourself in ice and went for your first joy ride! This time, you’ll want to make the jump in your ice ball then crazily wiggle your left thumb stick side to side to break the ball. This way you can stop the ride and reach the chest! Keep following the path then ice yourself. After the jump, stop the ride yet again then take the northern path. Incase yourself in ice to make the jump. Head towards the ! to trigger a cutscene where you’ll find the first child, Livvie!
2nd Missing Child – Arlo
Pass through all the icy wind walls then head south and encase yourself in ice. You’ll ride down the path and crash into that cracked crystal you previously saw. Take the new path to reach the second save point. Follow the path north and just before the map transition, you’ll find a small path.
Encase yourself using the icy wind then you’ll slide down off the cliffside. Follow the new path to find Arlo!
3rd Missing Child – Tomas
Backtrack to the south and take the map transition. Become an iceball to jump the gap then head north to the icicle bridge. Take the bridge across then make your way down the path southwest of the second save point. Get into your ball then enjoy the ride to the next area. Follow the path to reach the third save point. Head to the ! to trigger a cutscene followed by the boss fight against Fenrir. The gimmick in this fight is to target the giant icicle above Fenrir with a ranged attacker, causing it to fall and deal massive damage. The icicle will reappear after several turns! After you defeat the boss, Tomas will appear and you’ll be teleported out of the cave to the town. During the cutscene, Rudy will join your party!
Return to Athrabalt
Travel back to Athrabalt to trigger a cutscene.

Go to the secret entrance of the forest to the southwest
Before setting out, make your way over to the inn and speak with Chef Dinah, who of course is another assassin with the Dark Dragon Syndicate. Begin the cooking battle and win! Afterwards, a Masked Woman will show up and you’ll receive the Hot Sandwich Recipe.
Now that you’re ready to set out, make your way to the open world. Once in Near HQ, head to the objective on the western side of the map to reach Eldroad.

Once in Eldroad, continue along the path. When you reach the bridge just past the second save point, a cutscene will trigger followed by a fight against Elder Dragon. Take it out then continue along the path. When you reach the !, a quick cutscene will trigger. Afterwards, continue along the path to reach Yarnaan.

Once in Yarnaan, head south to trigger a cutscene with Wayve and Markus. You’ll then fight 4 Corpse Knights. Take them out!
Go to the Grandwarden’s house
Stand on the north central platform then interact with it to move to 3F. Head to the eastern side of 3F to find Sayid Ali wandering around. Speak with him then head to the north central building to trigger a cutscene with the Elder. During this cutscene, Alwe Arkathies Fawud and Nil will join you!
Head for Athrabalt, the capital of Norristar
Exit the inn then head on down to 1F. Take the western exit to reach Norristar! Once in Norristar, head south along the road to reach Athrabalt.

Upon gaining control as Nowa, enter the Great Hall where you’ll find Seign and his party. During the cutscene Mihlu will join the Alliance! Afterwards, rest up in your room.
Nothing else to do. May as well go outside.
When the lengthy cutscene ends, head downstairs and make your way to the inn where you’ll find another chef. Interact with Carne to begin the cook-off! Once you win, you’ll get the Steak Recipe!
Afterwards, head to the northwestern side of your HQ to find Sayid Ali and speak with him.
When you’re ready to progress the story, exit the HQ area to the open world then return. When you return, Ymir will summon you to the Great Hall.
Go to the Great Hall
Make your way inside your HQ and head to the Great Hall on 2F for the meeting. During the cutscene, Marisa and Garoo will join your party.

Welcome to NGB and our Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes walkthrough for the To the Safehouse main quest. Here you’ll find everything you’ll need to breeze through this quest.
After you finish the New Forces main quest, you’ll automatically start this quest! When you gain control of Seign, you’ll find yourself in Ardinale City. Head down to the southwestern side of the city then enter the room at the back of the General Store to trigger a cutscene.

Speak with the resident in the house on the east side of the inn to receive the Raclette Recipe!
Speak with the guy standing outside of the third house to the right of the General Store to obtain the Spicy Pigs’ Ear Recipe!
Speak with the lady inside the second house to the right of the General Store to obtain the Maqluba Recipe!
Find the hidden rune tank on the east side of town
Make your way to the east side of town to find a cave containing the rune tank. Along the way, you’ll be treated to a cutscene!
Explore the rune-lens research laboratory
Travel east to reach the Rune Research Lab – UG Passage! Take the first right then enter the jail cell to find a chest containing a Red Key! Bring this key following the path north then swinging west to find another chest in a cell.
This time it will contain a Blue Key! Backtrack south and take the central path. Use the Blue Key to unlock the cell then continue forward.
When you reach the !, a cutscene will trigger followed by a fight with a group of enemies. After you take them out, head west and enter the cell to find another Blue Key.
Snag it then keep following the path all the way to the south. There you’ll find the cell that this Blue Key unlocks.
Open the chest inside to receive a Red Key! Take this red key to the central western part of the area and use it to open the cell.
Loot the chest inside to receive the Crankshaft! Now that you have the missing piece, return to the northern part of the area. Near the save point, you’ll find a giant sealed door. To open it, interact with the panel to the right of the door.
Approach the ! to trigger a cutscene followed by a battle against Dux Aldric. It will be one of those Attack/Counter/Break battles.

Make a diversion with the rune tank and escape
Afterwards, you’ll be returned to the Outskirts. Speak with the villagers to be healed and receive a healing potion. When you’re ready to proceed, speak with Pohl to begin the operation. Yaelu and Ivy will officially join the Alliance. When riding in the tank, you’ll come across Modified Specimen W_1155. Take it down then the ride will continue until you bump into Heavy Modified Specimen B_1929. Again, you’ll need to take this creature out to continue your ride where you’ll then encounter Synthetic Specimen R_0812. Defeat it to continue the ride. Up next, you’ll encounter the Chimera. This is the final boss on this crazy ride. Watch out for when the creature builds up its Hurricane Wing attack as it will unleash a devastating hit to all party members! To avoid it, use the gimmick of attacking with the rune tank whenever the creature starts building up to cancel its attack. Upon killing it, a cutscene will trigger during which Seign will see his father. Afterwards, the chapter will end and you’ll be Nowa again!

Welcome to NGB and our Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes walkthrough for the New Forces main quest. Here you’ll find everything you’ll need to breeze through this quest.
Before leaving your HQ completely, make your way to the inn. Inside, speak with Kurtz then Tall Fry, the man wearing a white chef outfit standing at the counter of the bar. This will lead to a cooking battle!
After the tutorial, make your selection for the dishes! Be sure to listen to what the judges want as they are random who you’ll get! When selecting the dishes, the appetizer doesn’t actually have to be an appetizer and ditto with the main dish and dessert. We had Vegetable Juice as the main dish for ours and we won! Once the game begins, rapidly press X until time’s up! This will fill the gauge in the top left corner of the screen and keep it full the whole time, giving you an advantage during the judging. Once you win, you’ll learn that the Dark Dragon Syndicate is gunning for Kurtz’s restaurant. As a reward for winning, you’ll receive the Ramen recipe!
Next, make your way to the western side of HQ directly west of the inn to trigger a cutscene.
Afterwards, return to the inn now that some time has passed and you’ll find a guy in the white chef outfit by the bar again. Speak with him to learn that his name is Goemon and he’s ready for another cook-off! Once you win the mini-game, you’ll learn about the man in the Third-Eye Toque. As a reward for winning, you’ll receive the Umeboshi Chazuke recipe!
Wait for some time to pass then return to the inn to find that another chef is ready for a cooking battle. Beat Terrance to learn the Cheese Fondue recipe!
If you want to clean up all the previous areas that we’ve been to, now is a good time! To teleport to an area, press square to open the map then press L2 to go to the World tab. Select your destination to teleport! We found the below to be notable!

Speak with Gigina in the southern part of town who will then join your party!
Speak with Paquia on the east side of the stables and say “They’re pretty neat.” She’ll want you to bring her 5 Regular Eggs. You’ll find the Eggfoot in the open world of Near HQ. Defeat them to have a chance to obtain the eggs! Once you’ve found 5 eggs, return to Paquia to hand them over and she’ll join your party along with Mandie!
Speak with Glen in front of the house at the very beginning of the game. He’ll ask if you like card games. Say “Sure, I dabble.” then you’ll learn the rules of the game. If you win, he’ll join you!
Enter the house behind Glen and speak with Tuxedo to receive the Hummus recipe!

Speak with Falward in the building west of the inn. He’ll want 15 healing herbs. To make it easy, run down to the Tool Shop in the southeastern corner of town and purchase however many you need. Once you have all 14 healing herbs, return to Falward to hand them over. He’ll then join you!

Now that you’ve done everything, fast travel to Hishahn then head northeast to reach Shandar Ridge. Approach the guard and he’ll tell you that you’re free to pass!

After you reach the second save point, you’ll cross a bridge and will then be jumped by Surkkamui. Take it out then continue through the area and exit to the Eastern Desert. Once in the Eastern Desert, make your way to Dabavin.

When you arrive in Dabavin, head west of the General Store and speak with the shark next to the stage with 3 pigs on it to receive the Gazpacho Recipe. If you have 100,000 baqua, enter the inn and speak with Prunella. For a fee of 100,000 baqua, she’ll join you! In addition, she’ll give you 50,000 baqua back!
Once you’re ready to proceed, you’ll need to head to the harbor on the northwestern side of town to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, approach the group to the west to trigger another cutscene during which you’ll need to agree to head to Impershi’arc.

Meet with the Shoalmeister
Once in Impershi’arc, head north to run into Quinn. Afterwards, head east and speak with Stadler standing near the tusks and accept his challenge. You’ll receive a tutorial on the battle. Once you win the war, Stadler will join the party!
Continue east and speak with Quinn in front of the inn. Afterwards, continue east and speak with Sayid Ali. Next, approach the group by the stairs to learn of a race then head to the northwestern corner of the area and enter the house. Inside speak with the resident to acquire Shark Fin Soup recipe!
Now that the town has been explored, approach the north central building for a cutscene. When you regain control, head to the group near the inn. Upon approaching, another cutscene will trigger. Approach the main shark to officially be entered into the race! Once you win the race, you’ll need to head to the inn and rest up. The next morning you’ll have the race to prove your valor. Afterwards, the shi’arcs will join the Alliance, specifically Skyd and Yuferius VII!
Return to HQ
Before heading back to HQ, head to the south side of town and speak with Scarlet. Agree to race and if you win, she’ll join your party!
Afterwards, speak with Quinn who can also be found near the southern dock. You’ll then be teleported to The Den of the Dunes.

In The Den of Dunes, approach the giant hole straight in front of the starting area to trigger a boss fight against Oyamatsumi.
After you win, it will run to a different hole and you’ll need to chase it through the area. Look for a hole that looks like its a volcano erupting dirt (shooting it out from the hole). This will be the hole you want! Approach the hole to trigger a fight against the creature’s true form. Once again, take it out then chase after it yet again. When you catch up to it, it will be huge this time! Defeat it for the last time then team up with Quinn who will happily join the Alliance! Leave the area to reach the Great Sandy Sea!

Before return to HQ, you’ll need to make one last stop at Dabavin. Once there, head all the way down to the lower level and speak with Rody next to the General Store.
If you have an Unknown Pocket-Watch on you (we got ours as a random drop from an enemy in The Den of the Dunes), have him appraise it for 100 baqua. If you get lucky it will be a Pearl Pocket-Watch! Hand it over and he’ll join you!
Now that you’ve done everything you can, return to HQ! Before heading inside, make your way over to the inn and another chef will stand waiting for you to challenge them! Speak with Pescoe then take him out in the cooking competition! As a reward, you’ll receive the Ahi Poke recipe!
Head up to the second floor and enter the Great Hall. Agree to allow Hildi to check on Seign and a cutscene will then trigger. Afterwards, you’ll switch over to Seign’s quest called To the Safehouse.

Welcome to NGB and our Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes walkthrough for The Assassinated Emperor main quest. Here you’ll find everything you’ll need to easily breeze through this quest.
After the battles, you’ll find yourself in your HQ. Make your way to the Great Hall on the second floor. During the cutscene, Melridge, Barnard, Seign Kesling, Pohl, Valentin and Hildi will join your group. From this point forward, you’ll now be able to freely switch between Nowa and Seign’s stories. You’ll need to speak with Hildi to change! For now, you must decide Nowa’s party formation which must include Barnard. You’ll then receive two new main missions: New Forces (Nowa) and To the Safehouse (Seign). Since the mission ended with Nowa as the lead, we chose to complete the New Forces main mission first!

Exit the castle and speak with the man wearing red named Chron near the exit to the open world. He’ll give you Chron’s Medal and join your party!
Afterwards, a cutscene with the party will trigger. When it concludes, make your way to the south towards The Greatwood – East. Make your way through this area to reach the Treefolk Village. Just before the vine leading to the village, take the path west to reach The Greatwood – South – Depths.

When you emerge from The Greatwood – South, you’ll find yourself in Euchrisse. Once in Euchrisse, head east to come across Hishahn!

Go to the palace
Enter the city then make your way north to the inn. Along the way, Carrie will pop up. After your encounter, you can head around town to find her 2 more times. After you encounter her for the last time, she’ll join your party and give you Carrie’s Ring, which allows you to teleport! Once inside the inn, Perrielle and Janquis will join your party and you’ll set off for the palace on the north side of the city. Before heading to the palace, head west of the inn and interact with the bag behind a merchant stall.
You’ll meet Nell, who will then join your party. If you wish, you can put Nell in your party to increase bag space! Afterwards, enter the nearby house and speak with the resident inside to receive the Lemon Honey Pickles Recipe.
Next, head just east of the Blacksmith’s to find Kurtz.
Speak with him to learn that he will join your party if you get the Grilled Tutuva Recipe from the Treefolk. You’ll find this recipe by speaking with a Treefolk in Treefolk Village across from the Accessory Shop.
Afterwards, head just west of the Appraiser’s Shop to find Huang along the river.
He’ll give you a Bamboo Rod, which will open up fishing!

When you’re ready to proceed, head north to the palace. After the cutscene, head west and speak with Yulin on the bridge then return to the southeastern building for a cutscene with Perrielle. Before leaving Hishahn, make sure to have Carrie in your party as you’ll need her teleporting skills in the next area. When you’re ready, exit Hishahn and head south to Hishahn Old Town.

Find evidence of Harlan’s schemes
In Hishahn Old Town, interact with the barrel across from the save point to push it into the water.
Afterwards, approach the edge to jump across. Make your way through this area using the barrels to navigate across the water. Eventually, you’ll encounter Pagurian, the boss!
Take it out to receive the Rune of Currents. Afterwards, continue through the area towards the estate. When you reach the estate, a cutscene will trigger and you’ll find yourself in Harlan’s office. Interact with the shiny spot in the back left corner of the room to receive Harlan’s Underwear then interact with the large desk to get the item you’re looking for.
Go to the palace
Now it’s time to head to the palace. After the cutscene, make your way west to the southwestern gazebo on the palace grounds where you’ll find Euma. In the morning return to the palace to hear Euma’s decision. After the turn of events, make your way back to the inn to get the ball rolling then return to the palace. It will now be time for war!
The morning after the battle, you’ll need to return to the palace to initiate another war.

When you’re ready to proceed, head down the stairs to the level with the General Store and Inn. Take the path to the right of the General Store then head straight towards the spinning blades. After the quick cutscene, you’ll find yourself on the Road to the Proving Grounds!

Find Leene and the bandit
Now that you’re in the Proving Grounds, you’ll need to make your way through this area by activating the pedestal multiple times to turn the rooms, allowing new passageways to open each time. Your goal in this area will be to interact with two separate gears, one on each side of the area, to open the door in the main room with the pedestal.
Inside, you’ll face Astraea the Judge and Slaosha the Enforcer. After this battle, we highly recommend returning all the way to town before proceeding as you’ll have another boss fight against Hurstwine and Narungarde in the next room. It’s best to be fully stocked on supplies! After the battle, a cutscene will trigger and Kallathor will join your party!

Welcome to NGB and our Stellar Blade guide for the Fish Research request. Here we will cover where to start the request, how to complete it and the rewards you’ll receive for all of your efforts.
How to Start the Fish Research Request
You can accept this request from the bulletin board in Xion. In order for it to show up, you’ll need to complete the Looking Glass mission to receive the fishing rod and complete a couple of the other fishing requests as well.
How to Complete the Fish Research Request
For this request, the requestor will ask EVE to bring them a Halibut and then point her toward the clock tower in Eidos 7. Speak with Adam to travel there then use the telephone booth to travel to the Plaza Entryway. Push forward until you reach the small area under the clock tower.
Fish in the pond there to catch a Halibut. They like the Fish Slice bait, so be sure to use one to increase the chance of catching it. You can buy them from Clyde at the Oasis in the Great Desert using the points you earn from fishing. After you have a Halibut in your possession, return to the bulletin board in Xion to complete the request and receive your rewards.
