Below is a walkthrough for the Tau-Tirkin Alliance standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, listen in on a conversation near the canteen in Colony Tau then head to the rest camp and discuss the Food for Tau topic. You’ll need Juniper with you to discuss this.
For this quest, Juniper is required to be in your party! When you’re ready to begin, speak with Rowland a short ways away. Upon speaking with him, you’ll be given a choice. You can either gather 50 of each material requests (uphold the alliance) or make your way to the Tirkinhold stronghold (back out of the alliance).
50 Green Nectarines
To gather the 50 Green Nectarines, first speak with Rowland again as he’ll give you 10! If you speak with Graziana, she’ll give you 20! You can also spend some money at the Fabricator in Cascade Ferronis Hulk, which has a chance to spit some Green Nectarines out! Green Nectarines also spawn a lot in the Low Maktha Wildwood. Be careful of this area though as there are a lot of high level enemies!
50 Tirkingrass
To gather the 50 Tirkingrass, first speak with Rowland again as he’ll give you 10! If you speak with Graziana, she’ll give you 20! You can also spend some money at the Fabricator in Cascade Ferronis Hulk, which has a chance to spit some out! In the wild, Tirkingrass can be found throughout the Pentelas Region!
50 Shiny Rose
To gather the 50 Shiny Rose, first speak with Rowland again as he’ll give you 10! If you speak with Graziana, she’ll give you 20! You can also spend some money at the Fabricator in Cascade Ferronis Hulk, which has a chance to spit some out! In the wild, Shiny Rose can be found throughout the Pentelas Region!
50 Glare Aubergine
To gather the 50 Glare Aubergine, first speak with Rowland again as he’ll give you 10! If you speak with Graziana, she’ll give you 20! You can also spend some money at the Fabricator in Cascade Ferronis Hulk, which has a chance to spit some out! In the wild, Glare Aubergine can be found throughout the Pentelas Region! A lot spawned for us in the Low Maktha Wildwood. Be careful of this area though as there are a lot of high level enemies!
Tirkinhold
After you’ve gathered the above items, make your way to Tirkinhold. Follow the path through High Maktha Wildwood until you spot 2 Tirkin guarding a purple vine climbing area. Head on up and keep making your way to the top of this area to find Tirkinhold! After the brief cutscene, head further inside the stronghold until another cutscene triggers. Afterwards, the quest will finally complete!!
