Below is a walkthrough for the Happiness hero quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, approach the ? in the City’s canteen after achieving rank 10 with Miyabi. Please note that Miyabi is required to be in your party for this quest.
After accepting the quest, speak with Cubibi and Michiba in the canteen. You’ll then need to head to the northeastern side of the City and speak with Mei. Lastly, speak with Rozana in the residential quarters. Once you’ve spoken to everyone, head to a rest spot and discuss the Cooking Contest topic.
For the next task, we selected to first gather Miyabi’s ingredients.
- Smushi Rice
- Aetia Region – Millick Meadows
- Refreshing Piranhax Meat
- Aetia Region – Yzana Plains – Lake surrounding Colony 9 – Foggy Piranhax
- Aetia Region – Yzana Plains – Sonata Saddleback – Plush Piranhax

- Glitter Radish
- Fornis Region – Eagus Wilderness and Rae-Bel Tableland
- Boxy at the City (Boxy’s Soyprimo Sauce x1)
- City – South of the City Camp rest spot
After you find all the materials, return to the canteen in the City. Secondly, we gathered Manana’s!

- Aetia Region, Upper – Captocorn Peak – Piula Path – Kallow Aries
- Killjoy Crustip Meat x1
- Cadensia Region – Erythia Sea – Searing Strand landmark – Grauw Crustip

Again, after you find all the materials, return to the canteen in the City. Now that you’re ready, begin the contest! When the cutscene concludes, so will the quest.
