Below is a walkthrough for the Finite Time standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To obtain this quest, approach a supply drop south of the Dies Arch landmark in the central western part of Fornis Region. We obtain this quest in Chapter 4 after getting the rope sliding ability!
Fast travel to the Colony Iota then head south to the objective to find another supply drop. Defeat the Worker Arachno guarding it then open the chest. Afterwards, return to Colony Iota and speak with Fili to complete the quest.
