Below is a walkthrough for the A Nopon’s Counsel hero quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. You’ll automatically obtain this quest as part of the story.
Approach the elevator to find that it’s not working. Take to the left of the elevator until you see a door. Just before the door, take the stairs down and follow the path to the Generator Control Room rest spot. Interact with the terminal marked with a magnifying glass to power the elevator. Return to the elevator to trigger an event. Afterwards, take the elevator down to Mine No. 1. Another event will trigger upon exiting the elevator. When you gain control of the party, there will be 3 Mineral Deposits you have to interact with. One on each side of the elevator and one behind it. After interacting with the 3 places, head deeper into the area to trigger a cutscene. Interact with the nearby rest spot and rest.
After the cutscene, cross the long bridge and continue towards the objective. When you approach it, a cutscene will trigger followed by a fight with a Level 26 Princess Arachno unique enemy. Defeat it to complete the quest.
