Welcome to NGB and our Unicorn Overlord walkthrough on the Vile Desecration main quest!
How to Start the Vile Desecration Quest
To begin the Vile Desecration main quest in Unicorn Overlord, you’ll first need to complete O’er Wood and Water main quest. Head along the main road west of Kukulta Town to find a town devoid of all life.
Battle Prep Phase
For this battle, you’ll be facing mainly Necromancers, Elven Fencers and Elven Archers.

Battle Stage
When you load into the map, you’ll find yourself in the south with the enemy’s Command Post in the northwest. As you make your way north, you’ll find a watchtower and ballista in the middle of the area. As the fight goes on, Baltro will keep summoning enemies that descend from the Command Post. For us it helped to take a flying unit around to take out the watchtowers as there was too much Ranged Assist otherwise!
Be on the lookout for shiny objects on the ground throughout the battle stage. You’ll be able to receive the following items: Barricade Kit, Hot Cross Buns and Healing Font (M).
Kalfaara Garrison
This garrison can be found on the western side of the area. It’s manned by Elven Fencers supported by a Shaman with another unit of Elven Fencers nearby who will provide magick assist.
Fort Korim
This fort lies in the northeastern corner of the area and is protected by a ballista and watchtower providing ranged assist. The enemy commander is an Elven Archer protected by some Landsknecht and Cleric characters. There is a nearby Elven Fencer that will provide magick assist.
Valtaat Garrison
This garrison lies in the northern part of the map, just west of Fort Korim. It is also protected by the same ballista and watchtower providing ranged assist as Fort Korim. There is a nearby Elven Fencer that will provide magick assist.
Command Post
This Command Post has a lone unit consisting of Baltro and a line of dead characters.
