Welcome to NGB and our Unicorn Overlord guide on The Battle for Adopti liberation quest! Learn how to begin and finish the quest, discover the rewards you’ll earn and the strategy we applied to conquer the battle stage. Keep in mind that we prioritized tasks like freeing forts, capturing bridges, and clearing watchtowers before meeting the victory conditions to maximize experience points, war funds, Honors, and renown, all crucial for strengthening the Liberation Army.
How to Start The Battle for Adopti Quest
To begin The Battle for Adopti quest, simply approach the area shown in the image below!
How to Complete The Battle for Adopti
For this Battle Stage, you’ll mainly be fighting Sellswords and Gladiators. The Sellswords are weak to Thieves and the Gladiators are weak to Thieves and Calvary.
For this map, you’ll need to liberate the Walled City of Adopti. In the center, you’ll find the leader of the mercaneries, Jeremy, accompanied by 3 Gladiators. To his east, there will be 1 unit of 3 Spearbearers and another unit of 2 Gladiators and 2 Spearbearers. To his west, there will be a unit with 1 Swordbearer and 3 Wyvern Knights and another unit with 2 Hammerbearers and 2 Witches. Covering all of these units, lies a Watchtower in the southern part of the city.
The way we beat this stage was to leave a unit at the Command Post and let the enemies rush them. Being in the Command Post will cause your stamina to not deplete allowing you to dish out more attacks. We did spawn an additional unit that had a Thief in the front line to deal with the Gladiator unit to make that fight easier. While doing this, we sent a third unit with a flying unit with a Witch to bypass the enemies and go straight for the Watchtower. We used the Witch to use Magic Assist from the Watchtower to assist the unit attacking the Command Post. Once all the enemies were cleared, we were able to assault the Command Post. The one caveat of doing this is to closely watch the time as it can slip away while waiting for the enemies to come to you! As a reward for taking down the Command Post, you’ll receive the Bandit Longsword. The stage will then clear and a cutscene will trigger during which you can choose to spare or execute him. If you spare Jeremy, he’ll join the Liberation Army!
