Below is a walkthrough for the Where to Find a Whetstone side quest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. To obtain this quest, speak with Bertrand on Outlander Lane after completing the game.
Find Whetstone in the Quarry
Travel into the Quarry then go to the location with the ! in the image below.
Once in this area, defeat the Level 50 armored creature then loot the item it drops. Afterwards, return to Bertrand on Outlander Lane to complete the quest.
