In The Gunk, you can unlock new upgrades as you scan items in the environment. For a listing of all the items you can scan, click here! To install the 16 upgrades, you’ll need materials so make sure to collect every item that you come across so you have enough. Below are all the upgrades you can acquire in The Gunk!
1. Glove Grip Soldering
Grab, carry or throw certain objects.
2. Momentum Oscillator
Absorb gunk at a higher rate.
3. Void Expander
Expand your glove’s effective absorption area.
4. Hydraulic Braces
Achieve a higher run speed. Sprint by holding X or tapping L thumbstick.
5. Pulse Cannon
Fire a plasma pulse to trigger local machinery. Press LT and B to fire.
6. Stun Pulse Array
Launch a plasma blast capable of paralyzing small gunk creatures.
7. Charge Deflector
Reduce the recharge time between plasma pulses.
8. Power Pulse
Liquidate small gunk creatures or immobilize larger threats.
9. Energy Lure
Attract gunk creatures for a short while. Press LB and throw it with RT to deploy.
10. Energy Siphon
Absorb gunk to gain a brief period of increased run speed.
11. Persistence Core
Prolong the active state for the Lure device.
12. Emission Amplifier
Increase the range of the lure to attract gunk creature at greater distance.
13. Overcharge
Combusts the Lure Device at the end of its active state, temporarily immobilizing nearby gunk creatures.
14. Kevlar Fibre
Take more hits before you go down.
15. ATP Extractor
Collect Alien Material to regain health.
16. Cortex Jolt
Automatically restore consciousness when blacking out.
