Gamer’s Log 001

by Chappie in

Welcome to the first of my many gamer’s logs! These logs are meant to be informal posts that will contain information about what games I’m playing now, what I plan to play next, and what upcoming content will be uploaded to the site in the near future. So with that out of the way, let’s dive into it. I have wrapped up playing Kingdom Come Deliverance and have finally managed to beat the story over the last weekend. You can expect to see my review of the game in the next couple of days. I also completed What Remains of Edith Finch and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Both games will also receive reviews when I have a moment to write them/ When March 23 rolls around (tomorrow), I will be focusing all my efforts on Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, which releases that same day. My goal with Ni No Kuni will be to completely finish the game while trying to unlock that gleaming platinum trophy. This includes creating guides where I can with the potential for extra content if I deem it necessary. It will, of course, end with my review of the game and then I’ll move onto the next one. That will probably be Far Cry 5, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. That’s it for now, Chappie signing off.

Kingdom Come Deliverance – A Woman Scorned

by Chappie in

Welcome to NGB and our Kingdom Come Deliverance walkthrough for the A Woman Scorned quest! Here you’ll find everything you’ll need to easily breeze through this quest.

A Woman Scorned Overview

Activity Giver: Old Whore – Inn in the Glade

Summary: An old lady asks Henry to help her get back at the people that have wronged her.

Objective(s):

Steal 20 groschen from the non-paying customer’s purse

Wait until dark and follow the non-paying customer on his way home. Sneak up behind him and knock him out. You can then steal his purse and bring it to the old whore.

Steal the woolen shaw from the village woman

You can pickpocket the shawl off of the village woman while she’s sleeping. Be mindful of her husband who is asleep next to her. He can wake up and catch you. The other option is to wake the lady and lead her out of the house. You can then run behind her, knock her out, and take the woolen shaw from her. Be sure to knock her husband out, too. There is a chest in the house with an easy lock that contains the book Grasses and Herbs.

Steal the farmer’s ornamental dagger

Sneak into the farmer’s house at night and wait for him to go to sleep. Knock him out then take the dagger from him.

Steal the key to the trunk from the farmer’s wife

Travel back to the farmer’s house. Wait until night to pick the easy lock on the door. Find the sleeping woman and pickpocket the key from her. You can also just knock her out if you wish and take the key that way. She was asleep next to her husband, so it might be a little trickier to knock her out.

Talk to the innkeeper at the Inn in the Glade

Wait a day after giving the old whore the trunk key then talk to the innkeeper to complete the quest.

Gamer’s Log 000 – Welcome!

by Chappie in

Welcome! I’m Chappie and this is my blog Nightly Gaming Binge. Within these virtual pages, you will soon find many posts on a subject that I am very passionate about – video games. I’ve been gaming since I could barely hold a controller and started out with Super Mario All-Stars on the SNES. I really enjoy role-playing games, first-person shooters, and action adventure games so most of my content will be focused on those genres. Periodically I do get the urge to play the occasional strategy or fighting game, and in rare cases, a racing game so a post on one of those three genres will pop up from time to time.

The content I will be focusing on will be mainly reviews, guides, and miscellaneous posts about random things. The reviews will be based on my personal opinion of the game. I will only write a review after I have completed the main story of that game and most of the side content. This will hopefully give me a greater understanding of the game so I can be in a position to write a more honest review. The goal of this blog is to give feedback on whether a game is worth your time or not through my reviews and guides to help you get past those frustrating parts when an objective isn’t clear or just about impossible to locate. I will also be using this blog to help me grow as a writer and develop my communication skills.

Whether you’re here to read a review, check out a guide or read about my latest gaming shenanigans, feel free to leave a comment or shoot me an email through the soon to be Contact Us page. Again, welcome to Nightly Gaming Binge. Game On!
