A Talk with Tilsa

Obtained: Speak with Tilsa at Pelegion Level 2 after defeating the object that crashed into the ocean

Target: Get evaluated by Tilsa

When you speak with her, she’ll ask you several basic questions about yourself. Go ahead and answer them however you’d like to complete the A Talk with Tilsa quest.

Rewards: 3400 Gald, 135 SP

Beyond the Grave

Obtained: From Thistlym enter Tuah Seashore to automatically begin this quest (We did this post game!)

Target: Take Mahavar’s ship to the Uninhabited Island

Travel to the Hidden Wharf in Mahag Saar then speak with Mahavar who is standing in front of the ship to set sail to the Uninhabited Island. Once you arrive, explore the island looking for the person who wrote the letter. They can be found on the north central side of the island. You’ll need to work your way around the whole island to reach the man sitting under a tree. After the cutscene, a boss fight will trigger. Take out the Level 59 Mesmald to complete the quest.

Rewards: 36800 Gald and 650 SP

Catching Up

Obtained: Speak with the man near the inn on Pelegion Level 1 after the time skip

Target: Acquire 3x Infused Statue Fragment

You’ll probably have plenty of these on you already but in case you don’t, you can loot them from Killer Effigy in Del Fharis Castle. Once you’ve obtained 3 Infused Statue Fragments, hand them over to the man to complete the Catching Up quest.

Rewards: Life Bottle x2, 6800 Gald, 175 SP

Fishing Fiends

Obtained: Speak with Dahnan Man at Thistlym

Target: Defeat 4x Terrapin Fists

Head into Shinefall Woods and defeat 4 of the monkey-like enemies. Afterwards, report back to the man to complete the Fishing Fiends quest.

Rewards: Life Bottle x3, 3800 Gald

Gourmet Saga: Soft and Fluffy

Obtained: Speak with Gourdeno at Pelegion Level 2 after the time skip and solving the issue with the knights in the castle

Target: Acquire 6x Rice, 4x Stimulating Powder, 2x Neither Swine nor Hare Meat, 2x White, Soft and Fluffy Objects

To complete this quest, you’ll need to bring the requested ingredients to Gourdeno and cook him a dish using them. The ingredients are listed below along with where you can find them. Once you’ve obtained all of the required materials, speak with Gourdeno to trigger an event.

Her Place

Obtained: Speak with the Dahnan Man in Shinefall Woods after the thing drops into the ocean

Target: Defeat the queen bee zeugle

Head north to find the queen bee surrounded by a posse. Defeat them then report back to the man to complete the Her Place quest.

Rewards: 12600 Gald, 380 SP

Master of Nature

Obtained: Speak with the boy at Pelegion Level 2 after the time skip

Target: Defeat the nature-manipulating zeugle

Defeat the Gigant, Elemental, in the center of Lavtu Marshlands. Afterwards, report back to the boy to complete the Master of Nature quest.

Rewards: 12600 Gald, 380 SP

Missing Lover

Obtained: Speak with the Pensive Woman in Thistlym after the object crashes into the ocean

Target: Search for Nottio

Travel to Pelegion Level 3 and speak with Ganye. Next, you’ll be tasked to head to Talka Pond Road in Menancia, however, you’ll have to push farther with the story to unlock fast traveling again. When you’re able, make your way there and speak with the knight to learn that he is indeed Nottio. After you speak with him, return to the woman to complete the Missing Lover quest.

Rewards: Grilled Rapping Recipe, 5100 Gald, 150 SP

Pelegion’s Zeugle Mascot

Obtained: Speak with the Young Dahnan Woman at Pelegion Level 1 after the time skip

Target: Defeat 5x Wild Boomy

The Wild Boomy are flying creatures that are brown and white with a heart on their chest. Defeat 5 of them at Aureum Falls Waterfalls then return to the girl to report back and complete the Pelegion’s Zeugle Mascot quest.

Rewards: Fish Steak Recipe, 8400 Gald, 215 SP

Seaside Tornados

Obtained: Speak with the Dahnan Elder in Thistlym after the object crashes into the ocean

Target: Defeat the giant bird zeugle along Tuah Seashore

Head south to Tuah Seashore to locate a Level 42 Stormbringer and 3 Level 39 Hawks in the southern part of the area. Defeat them then report back to the man to complete the Seaside Tornados quest.

Rewards: 12600 Gald, 380 SP

Their Future

Obtained: Approach the Armored Soldier in Pelegion Level 3 after visiting Lenegis

Target: Attend the wedding

Travel to the Saxleon Temple in Pelegion to trigger a cutscene that will complete the Their Future quest.

Rewards: Silver Suit of Armor, 5100 Gald, 15 SP

Untamable Rage

Obtained: Speak with the Elderly Fishing Fan in Thistlym after unlocking fast travel again

Target: Enter the cave in Shinefall Woods

Travel to Shinefall Woods in the Ganath Haros region. Once there, enter the Fogwharl Limestone Caverns near the southern fast travel point. After a cutscene, explore the cave, working your way to the Inner Sanctum. When you arrive, use the campfire to heal up. There will also be a shopkeeper for you to use to stock up. Next, head to the southern part of the area where you’ll encounter a Level 56 Undine Drop. Once you deplete the health bar, the creature will transcend to an Luo Undine! After defeating the creature, continue heading south to find a legendary fishing spot. Afterwards, return to the Elderly Fishing Fan in Thistlym to complete the Untamable Rage quest.

Rewards: Sushi Recipe, Golden Lucky Cat Statue, Burning Blood, 36800 Gald

Mahag Saar Owls – Tales of Arise Guide

Welcome to our Tales of Arise guide on the locations of the Mahag Saar owls. In Tales of Arise, you’ll come across Dahnan Owls. For the Owl Spotter trophy, you’ll need to find and report 13 owls. For the Owl Scouter trophy, you’ll need to find and report 32 owls! When you find the owls at the locations below, speak with them to receive an item, and they will then fly away.

Niez

This owl can be found in the northeastern part of the area on a table. Examine it to receive a Red Rose Corsage.

Aqfotle Hills

This owl can be found perched on a ruined house near the map transition to Adan Lake. Examine it to receive Retro Sunglasses.

Adan Lake

This owl can be found atop a stone archway in the central part of Adan Lake. Examine it to receive Angry Glasses.

Adan Ruins

This owl can be found on a stone across from the ladders. Examine it to receive Angel Wings.

Mobile Fortress Gradia Ship Interior Level 2

Mahag Saar Mobile Fortress Gradia Owl Locations

This owl can be found in the second room on the northwestern side of 2F. Examine it to receive Butterfly Wings.

Welcome to our Mahag Saar subquests guide for Tales of Arise. Listed are the subquests you can find in Mahag Saar and how to complete them.

City Renewal

Obtained: Speak with a man near a burnt tree stump near the fast travel point in Niez after meeting Dedyme

Target: Acquire 2x Demihuman Muscle

You can loot the Demihuman Muscle from Rioter Claw in Mount Dhiara. When you’ve collected 2, return to the man to hand them over and complete the City Renewal quest.

Rewards: Roasted Chicken Recipe, Life Bottle x3, 1800 Gald, 210 SP

Echoes

Obtained: Speak with Baephon at Niez after leaving Ganath Haros and unlocking fast travel again

Target: Defeat the giant zeugles in Este Luvah Forest

Travel to Este Luvah Forest – Fortress Ruins Basement 2F to find 2 Level 43 Ruthlesses. Defeat them then report back to Baephon to complete the Echoes quest.

Rewards: Lucky Cat Statue, 12600 Gald, 35 SP

Farewell, Mage

Obtained: Speak with Baephon at Niez after completing Echoes

Target: Make your way to the tower on top of the mountain

Head to Mount Dhiara Ridge in Menancia. Make your way about half way through the area to encounter 2 Level 66 Sylph Feathers attacking a person. Defeat them then continue along the path to reach the tower. Head inside then go up the stairs. When you reach the top, you’ll engage in a battle with 4 Level 66 Sylph Feathers a Level 70 Procella Sylph will be flying around the battleground but you won’t be able to do any damage to it so focus on the enemies in the arena. After you defeat 2 waves of the Sylph Feathers, a Level 68 Slyph Zloa will spawn. Take it out to trigger a cutscene where Alphen will mount the giant bird and be able to take it down once and for all. Return to Baephon to complete the Farewell, Mage quest.

Rewards: Drum of the Legend, 36800 Gald, 65 SP

Gourmet Saga: Prairie Scent

Obtained: Speak with Gourdeno near the map transition to Niez

Target: Acquire 4x Lettuce, 2x Apple, 4x Lemon

After you obtain the ingredients from harvest points (if you don’t have them in your inventory already), hand them over to Gourdeno to complete the Gourmet Saga: Prairie Scent quest.

Rewards: Vitamin Smoothie Recipe, Glutton’s Maze, 2300 Gald

Kisara’s Initiation

Obtained: Speak with the Food Manager at the inn in Niez after meeting Dedyme

Target: Acquire 4x Pepper, 2x Beef, 4x Potato

When you speak with her, she’ll give you the Curry Recipe. Collect all the ingredients from harvest points (if you don’t have them already) then return and speak with her. She’ll then want 2x Salmon. Again collect the ingredient if you don’t have it already from a harvest point then return to the woman to trigger with Shionne and Kisara.

Rewards: 2300 Gald, 160 SP

Owl Sanctuary

Obtained: Speak with Giselle in Niez after leaving Ganath Haros and unlocking fast travel again

Target: Gather information on the missing owl

Follow the objective to find a purple owl sitting on a bench in Niez. Interact with it then visit Owl Forest. Select the black female owl. You’ll then be able to choose the big or little basket. You must choose the big basket to receive the Sandwich Recipe and a bunch of ingredients! If you choose the little basket, you’ll receive an Omega Elixir. Return to Giselle and speak with her to complete the Owl Sanctuary quest.

Rewards: 2300 Gald, 145 SP

Skybound Swarm

Obtained: Speak with the Fleeing Man at Hidden Wharf after leaving Ganath Haros and unlocking fast travel again

Target: Defeat the zeugle swarms on Aqfotle Hills

Travel to Aqfotle Hills to locate a Level 42 Mother Boomy and 3 Level 31 Wild Boomy. Defeat them then return to the Fleeing Man to complete the Skybound Swarm quest.

Rewards: 12600 Gald, 380 SP

The Mysterious Pair

Obtained: Speak with Wonder Bard in Niez after meeting Dedyme

Target: Solve the mystery and retrieve the instrument

To solve the mystery, head to the very northern tip of Iglia Wastes, northeast of the fast travel point, then interact with the shiny object to receive an Iron Pipe. Afterwards, return to the bard in Niez to complete The Mysterious Pair quest.

Rewards: Quivering Candles, 2300 Gald, 15 SP

Welcome to our Tales of Arise guide on the Gigant locations! In Tales of Arise, the Gigants can be found at the below locations.

Toxidillo

Location: Calaglia – Glanymede Castle 4F

The Toxidillo can be found on the 4th floor of Glanymede Castle. It’s level 14 and likes to roll up in a ball to attack. You can find its weak point on its tail. It can also drop toxic mucus around it that can cause a lot of damage if you’re not careful.

Boisterous Roper

Location: Calaglia – Ulvhan Grotto

The Boisterous Roper can be found around the center of the Ulvhan Grotto and is reachable by the most northwestern path. It’s level 15 and is accompanied by two level 14 Ropers. It throws out toxic spheres and casts earth elemental damage. It resists earth-based artes. You can find its weak point on the top back part of its head. You’ll be sent to defeat it as part of the Opening up Trade sub-quest. If you defeat it before accepting the quest, the quest will complete right after accepting it.

Polycephus

Location: Cyslodia – Rivelle Prison Tower Under Ground Prison

The Polycephus can be fought during the sub-quest Survey Says… which is obtainable after taking down the lord ruling Cyslodia. The Zeugle is level 21 and attacks using both of its heads, and the weak point can be found on its left leg. You can stay out of range from most of its attacks if you stick to the side of it.

Great Dragon

Location: Menancia – Traslida Highway

The Great Dragon can be found on the Traslida Highway by fighting a pack of boars on the southwestern part of the map near the Overseer Hill map transition. He will make his grand entrance by showing up randomly in the middle of the fight. It’s level 26, weak to water-based artes and its weak spot can be found on its chest. He deals a lot of damage and shoots flames from its mouth. Make sure you have plenty of healing items before trying to take it on.

Flamewrecker

Location: Menancia – Razum Quarry Mining Site 1

Flamewrecker can be fought during the Walking Crag sub-quest. It’s a level 28, weak to water and has a lot of HP. Make sure you bring some healing items and be prepared for a lengthy fight. His weak point is on his back and he deals fire-based damage.

Relentless Charger

Location: Menancia – Traslida Highway

The Relentless Charger can be fought during the sub-quest A Boorish Boor after completing the story events in Menancia. Its level 26, weak to wind-based artes and has a weak point on its tusks. The boar likes to charge across the battlefield damaging those in its path, so we recommended bringing Kisara to deal with that. It also likes to use its Over Limit quite a bit.

Alpha Reaper

Menancia Traslida Highway Gigant Location

Location: Menancia – Traslida Highway

The Alpha Reaper can be fought during the sub-quest Dohalim, Big Game Hunter after completing the story events in Menancia. It’s level 25, is weak to earth-based artes and has a weak point on the back of its right hand. This enemy likes to jump around and deal massive damage with its huge fists. It’s especially lethal when it’s Over Limit activates.

Elemental

Location: Ganath Haros – Lavtu Marshlands

The Elemental can be fought during the sub-quest Master of Nature after the time skip. It’s level 42 and is weak to wind-based artes. It’s core is located in its tummy. After you start fighting it, a total of 4 Elementals will appear. Damage them all to kill it.

Regent Bee

Location: Ganath Haros – Shinefall Woods

The Regent Bee can be fought during the sub-quest Her Place after the object drops into the ocean. It’s level 45 and comes with 5 Assault Bees that are level 43. Watch out for the move she does where she summons bees around her and they blast you with fire!

Stormbringer

Ganath Haros Tuah Seashore Gigant Location

Location: Ganath Haros – Tuah Seashore

The Stormbringer can be fought during the Seaside Tornadoes sub-quest after the object drops into the ocean. It’s level 42 and comes with 3 Level 39 Hawks.

Agony Keeper

Location: Cyslodia – Frozen Valley

The Agony Keeper can be fought during the In Sync sub-quest after returning to Cyslodia from Ganath Haros. It’s level 39 and its core is located on its tail.

Mantis

Location: Calaglia – Sandinus Ravine

The Mantis can be fought during the Giant Zeugle Hunt sub-quest once you’re a high enough level as it’s level 43. When it reaches 1/4 health left, it’ll summon 3 Level 43 Bees.

Ruthless

Location: Mahag Saar – Este Luvah Forest – Fortress Ruins Basement 2F

The 2 Ruthless can be fought during the Echoes sub-quest after leaving Ganath Haros and unlocking fast travel. Both are level 43. Watch out for the swipe attacks as they do a lot of damage!

Mother Boomy

Location: Mahag Saar – Aqfotle Hills

The Mother Boomy can be fought during the Skybound Swarm sub-quest after leaving Ganath Haros and unlocking fast travel. It’s level 42 and is accompanied by 3 Level 31 Wild Boomy.

Thunderite

Location: Calaglia – Iglia Wastes

The Thunderite can be found in the southwestern part of Iglia Wastes during the Mixed Feelings sub-quest after you visit Lenegis. It’s level 53.

Calamity Arms

Location: Rena – Gegham Helgarahi Upper Level 3F

The Calamity Arms can be found at Gegham Helgarahi Upper Level 3F during the Tissue Sample sub-quest after you reach Rena. It’s level 54.

Masher Bull & Masher Mare

Location: Mahag Saar – Adan Lake

The Masher Bull and Masher Mare can be found on the western side of Adan Lake during The Super Zeugle sub-quest. Both are level 56.

Ezamamuk

Location: Menancia – Mount Dhiara – Mountain Base

The Ezamamuk can be found in the center of the Mountain Base during The Ultimate Zeugle sub-quest. It’s level 59!

Sword Dancer

Location: Tarfhal Helgarahi Water Astral Energy Separator

The Sword Dancer can be found through the Water Astral Energy Separator portal, which is located in the Astral Energy Convergence Zone, at Tarfhal Helgarahi. The creature is level 56 and this is a two part fight. Initially, the creature stands on its legs. After you defeat it by getting its health to 0, part 2 will kick in. In this battle, the creature will run around on all its legs.

This flower is awarded after defeating Ezamamuk during The Ultimate Zeugle sub-quest.

Welcome to our Tales of Arise guide for fish and fishing spots! You’ll unlock fishing automatically as part of the story after you come across Talka Pond with Kisara and Dohalim in your party. You’ll need to fish in order to unlock both the Skilled Angler and Godly Angler trophies. For the Skilled Angler trophy, you’ll receive it after catching your first fish. The Godly Angler trophy is a bit harder to earn as you’ll need to catch every type of fish and show the Fishing Notes to the Fishing Expert at Talka Pond. You can find the following fish at the below fishing spots! As you collect new fish, report them to the Fishing Expert to earn new rods and lures! You’ll need these to catch rarer fish.
