Welcome to our walkthrough for A Break at Dawn miscellaneous mission in Starfield! After some time passes after completing the Keeping the Peace mission, you’ll get an activity to check in with Sergeant Yumi. Visit him in the UC Security Office at the Spaceport in New Atlantis to receive your next case.
Speak to Royce at the Dawn’s Roost
Hop on the NAT and travel to the Residential District. Once you’re there, take a right and follow that sidewalk to reach Pioneer Tower. Head inside then speak with Royce Elgin behind the bar. Tell him you’re here about the fight that happened and question him about it. Royce will then send you to Athena Tower.
Find Hugo Fournier at Athena Tower
Exit Pioneer Tower and head to the other end of the Residential District to find Athean Tower. Head inside and speak with Hugo near the elevators to question him about the fight. Mention the ring and you’ll learn it was gifted to Hugo when he was proposed to. At this point you’ll have two options. You can either pass a persuasion check to convince Hugo to hand over the ring or tell him to keep it. Make whichever decision you feel is appropriate as it does not affect anything (including rewards!).
Report to Sergeant Yumi
Head back to Sergeant Yumi to make your report on the incident completing the mission. As a reward, you’ll receive 100 EXP and 2000 credits.
