Chapter 8 of Snack World The Dungeon Crawl Gold contains 8 story quests with the ultimate goal of training at Chowlin Temple. Below you will find guides for all the quests so grab your Jaras and get ready for a snack attack! Let the dungeon crawl begin!
Pigsy Rescue Mission
Quest Giver: Chup
Grand Prize: Dettonic Brooch
Objective: Rescue Pigsy!
With the help of the Genies, you are able to infiltrate the Distillery with Chup. When you reach the 3rd floor of the Distillery, you will run into Pigsy. After approaching him, a Livid Dragon will show up. Defeat it to complete the quest.
The Road to Chowlin
Quest Giver: Vel
Grand Prize: Wacky Wand
Objective: Head for Chowlin Temple!
This quest takes you to the Wonton Way. Once there, follow the marker to the end of the first level to find Purrate who you will need to defeat. Once Purrate is defeated, interact with the way point to complete the quest.
Chowlin Training
Quest Giver: Grandmaster
Grand Prize: Clan Crystal Shield
Objective: Beat the Dragon Brothers!
You’ll embark to the Chowlin Temple where you will immediately engage in battle with Hullablue, Dred and Pedigreen. Defeat all the dragons then you will face off with Slashimi. Once Slashimi has been defeated, the quest will complete.
Honey Hits Back
Quest Giver: Dim Sum (Speak with him in the hotel)
Grand Prize: Smacker Shield
Objective: Subjugate Jokula!
For this quest, you’ll head to the Macaroon Mountains and will need to make your way to the 3rd level to fight Jokula. This fight is quite similar to the VamPIEr fight. Jokula shoots out poisonous bats and can turn into a group of them. Besides watching out for these attacks, you’ll also need to side step his hugs and dodge his garlic breath. Defeat Jokula to complete the quest.
Smithing in Style
Quest Giver: Anny Smith (Speak with Anny on the 3rd floor of Baloneys)
Grand Prize: Dettonic Staff
Objective: Defeat the Fearnix!
This quest takes you to the Black Forest with Anny Smith to hunt the Super Fearnix. Work your way to the Songstress’s Waiting Room and pass through the gate to start the fight. The fight shouldn’t be too bad as it has the same move set as before. Defeat it to obtain the feather for Anny and complete the quest.
Grandmaster’s Gold
Quest Giver: Dump Ling (Speak with her at Chowlin Temple after receiving the Chowlin Training story quest)
Grand Prize: Slick Slapstick
Objective: Overpower Euriley!
Your party will head to the Gorgonzola Ruins where you will need to make your way to the 3rd level to encounter Super Euriley (aka Madusa on steroids). You should be an old pro now in defeating her so give it all you got. Once you defeat her, the quest will complete.
Back-to-Back Battles
Quest Giver: Kung Pao (Speak with him at Chowlin Temple after receiving the Chowlin Training story quest)
Grand Prize: Exodus Blade
Objective: Undertake the series of battles!
*NOTE: You must have all Sporty Style Gear equipped before you embark.
You will embark to the Wonton Way for this quest. Once you arrive, follow the marker to speak with Kung Pao then you will automatically begin a battle with 2 Pandamonia, followed by a group of Wearwolves, then a group of Major Munchers and lastly a Mountain Gorilla. Defeat all the enemies to complete the quest.
Insecty Side Quest
Quest Giver: Con Gee (Speak with him at Chowlin Temple after receiving the Chowlin Training story quest)
Grand Prize: Dettonic Shield
Objective: Defeat insect-like monsters!
Defeat 30 enemies in the Wonton Way to complete the quest.
