Chapter 7 of Snack World The Dungeon Crawl Gold contains 8 story quests with the ultimate goal of discovering what happened to Gobson. Below you will find guides for all the quests so grab your Jaras and get ready for a snack attack! Let the dungeon crawl begin!
Prime Suspect: Chup
Quest Giver: Chup
Grand Prize: PacLap Ti Sword A
Objective: Find the Pix-e Pod!
You’ll head to Butterscorch Barrens in search of Chup’s Pix-e Pad. Follow the marker to the southeastern side of the map to locate the pink star. Pick up Chup’s Pix-e Pod to spawn a group of Gobblins. Defeat the Gobblins to complete the quest.
Catch that Killer!
Quest Giver: Capt. Mussel
Grand Prize: Pix-e Crystal Axe
Objective: Go get Gobson’s killer!
This quest will have you head to Minestrone Mines. Make your way all the way to Minecart Terminus then head through the door to speak with Captain Mussel. In a twist of events, you’ll need to defeat Captain Mussel to complete the quest. He will use a heavy hitting punching move. For this fight, try and stay behind him.
Can’t Keep a Good Gobblin’ Down
Quest Giver: Gobson
Grand Prize: Blossom Axe
Objective: Chase after Chup and co.!
You’ll head to the Macaroon Mountains for this quest and will need to make your way to the 3rd level. Once there, head through the doors to fight the ‘Ire Bird. The moves are the same as the Fearnix’s and are just faster. Avoid its moves and defeat the boss to complete the quest.
Tantalizing Tentacles
Quest Giver: The Genies (Speak with them at the hotel)
Grand Prize: Pix-e Perfume
Objective: Defeat the Krapen!
For this quest, you’ll embark to Gumbo Grotto where you will need to make your way to the Cavern of Calm. Head through the door to face off against the Super Krapen! The Super Krapen has all of the same moves as the original Krapen with one addition. It can summon adds! This is a very overpowered boss so try to dodge its attacks as much as possible. Defeat the Super Krapen to complete the quest.
Toady Turf War
Quest Giver: Maj. Mango (Speak with him in the castle at Frutti Tutti)
Grand Prize: Blossom Staff
Objective: Stop the froggy fray!
This quest takes you to Marsh Mallow. Head to the tree in the southwest part of the map to find a group of Ninjumpers. Defeat them all then head to the very northern part of the map to defeat the 3-Toad Warrior. Once you defeat him, head slightly south and go across the bridge to locate a group of Claim-Jumpers. Defeat them all and more groups will keep spawning in the same location. Defeat all the enemies to complete the quest.
The Griffalo Gauntlet
Quest Giver: Griffalo (Speak with him in the southern-central part of Metrufflis after completing the Prime Suspect: Chup story quest)
Grand Prize: Blossom Lance
Objective: Take on the Griffalo!
For this quest, you’ll embark to the Frappe Fields. When there, head to the far northwestern part of the map to encounter Griffalo. Defeat him but it’s not over. He will spawn a total of 4 times in the same location. Once you defeat him all 4 times, the quest will complete.
Death Metal Soul
Quest Giver: Rockerfella (Speak with him near the train station in Metrufflis after finishing the Catch that Killer! story quest)
Grand Prize: Dettonic Sword
Objective: Win over the Bandshees!
*NOTE: All your Style Gear must be Elegant in order to embark on this quest.
This quest will take you to Chicken Itza where you will need to make your way to the 3rd level. When your ready, head through the door to fight the Super Bandshees! Their fighting moves are the same as before just more powerful and faster. Defeat them to complete this quest.
Secrets of the Wood
Quest Giver: Foul Cat (Speak with him in the northwestern corner of Metrufflis after finishing the Catch that Killer! story quest)
Grand Prize: Chiropteran Choker
Objective: Investigate the noises in the forest!
You’ll embark to the Black Forest for this quest. When you arrive, head all the way to the 3rd level and enter the door to encounter a boss battle. Defeat all the enemies to complete this quest.
