Below are the friendship quests in Shadowverse Champion’s Battle!
Hiro Ryugasaki
Location: Courtyard
Chapter 3 – Speak with Hiro and tell him to “Count me in!”. When you get control of the protagonist, collect the three flyers in the shopping district and return them to the Old Man. This will trigger a cutscene that will complete the quest and you’ll get Hiro’s emblem as a reward.
- Facing the Old Man, head left and take a right down a short ally to find a flyer bear a cardboard box
- Across the street from the previous flyer next to a hanging red/blue banner.
- Across from the Old Man behind the two ladies arguing
Chapter 4 (during the Talk to Mai and start your critical trial! main story mission) – Speak with Hiro and choose “Always happy to help”. After a lengthy cutscene, the quest completes and you receive Hiro’s sleeves.
Chapter 5 – Speak with Hiro and select “Sure, I’m listening” to trigger a cutscene. After it concludes, you’ll fight the Hoodlum who is Rank B and uses Runecraft. Defeat him to trigger a cutscene and complete the quest. You’ll receive the Bejeweled Dragon x1.
Chapter 6 – Speak with Hiro to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, you’ll receive his leader skin.
Chapter 7 – Speak with Hiro to get finally kick off the tournament. This will trigger a cutscene leading to a fight with Hiro. Defeating him will reward you with an Ignis Dragon card and figurine. Hiro will also move to the clubroom, so go there if you want to challenge him to a match!
Mimori Amamiya
Location: Tensei Academy 2F
Chapter 3 – Pay Mimori a visit and speak with her choosing the option “Need some help?”. This will trigger a long cutscene ending in you obtaining her emblem.
Chapter 4 – Speak with Mimori, choosing the “I’d better see what’s up” option. After a dialog event, the quest completes and you’ll receive Mimori sleeves.
Chapter 5 – Speak with Mimori and agree to help her. During the cutscene, she’ll ask you what she should shout out. Don’t worry about which one to choose as you’ll need to do them all! After the cutscene, you’ll receive the Flower Fox x1.
Chapter 6 – Speak with Mimori to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, defeat her in a round of Shadowverse to receive her leader skin!
Chapter 7 – Speak with Mimori to get the play underway. After a cutscene, you’ll receive her signature Brilliant Fairy card and figurine. Mimori will also move to the clubroom, so go there if you want to challenge her to a match!
Kazuki Shindo
Location: Nekome Park
Chapter 3 – Head to Nekome Park (west of the school) to find Kazuki and speak with him. Tell him “Let’s do this thing!” When prompted, pick one of the people with a purple exclamation above their head and challenge them to a match. We selected the Polite Girl who is Rank C and uses Runecraft. Defeat your opponent to trigger a cutscene after which you’ll obtain his emblem.
Chapter 4 – Speak with Kazuki, choosing the “You know I’ll be there” option. After a dialog event, the quest completes and you’ll receive Kazuki’s sleeves.
Chapter 5 – Speak with Kazuki and decided to go cheer him on. After a lengthy cutscene, the quest will complete and you’ll receive an Assault Knight.
Chapter 6 – Speak with Kazuki to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, you’ll receive his leader skin.
Chapter 7 – Speak with Kazuki to say you’ll come root for him. This will trigger a cutscene ending with you receiving a Victorious Blader card and figurine. Kazuki will also move to the clubroom, so go there if you want to challenge him to a match!
Kai Ijuin
Location: Tensei Academy 3F
Chapter 3 – Head to Kai who can be found along the southwestern hallway on the 3rd floor and speak with him. Pick the option “Let’s hit the books” to trigger a cutscene. When you gain control of the protagonist, examine the nearby broken vase, cardboard boxes and chalkboard. Next speak to Hiro, Mimori and Kazuki to get their side of what played out. This will lead to a dialog event where you’ll want to announce who the culprit is. (Hint, it’s the last option!). After the event, you’ll receive Kai’s emblem as a reward.
Chapter 4 – Speak with Kai and choose the “Count me in!” option. Answer the two questions and defeat the Price of Cocytus to complete the quest and receive Kai’s sleeves.

- Play the Winter’s Caprice first then follow that up with the Fire Chain
Chapter 5 – Speak with Kai and agree to help him. After a cutscene, you’ll need to follow the target. Stick to the right side of the road and hide beside the man standing by the gate. Then push up to the gated driveway and hide there. When the target turn the corner, wait for her to turn around once before you being following. Again, stick the right side of the road hiding in the driveway with the red brick. After that follow behind the girl and take a right through an alley with a bike in towards the end of the road. Stat there to complete the tailing segment. After a short dialog scene, choose “A merchandise swap!”. Another quick scene will play and you’ll complete the quest, receiving a Witchy Moggy as your reward.
Chapter 6 – Speak with Kai to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, examine the blackboard, 2 racks near the blackboard, a tool on the shelf in the back and bookshelf in the back. You’ll then receive Kai’s leader skin.
Chapter 7 – Speak with Kai to resume the investigation. Investigate the blackboard, the artist tools and the crying statue in the back of the room. If that doesn’t trigger the cutscene, then speak with the girl in the room. During the cutscene, choose the “A council or art club member”, “Fur and claw marks” and “The student council vice prez!”. This will lead to a chase where you’ll have to avoid running into any pedestrians. After catching her, another cutscene will trigger and you’ll receive the Chrono Witch card and figurine. Kai will also move into the clubroom, so you can find him there if you want to challenge him to a match!
Mysterious Girl (Alice Kurobane)
Location: Shadowverse Stadium Entrance
Chapter 3 – Head to the Shadowverse Stadium Entrance and speak with the Mysterious Girl. Choose all 3 options then she’ll tell you she wants to hang out at your school. A cutscene will trigger after which she’ll give you 300 Rupies.
Chapter 4 – Speak with the Mysterious Girl choosing the “She could use a friend” option. Next, choose to visit the park, then the amusement center and lastly the beach. After visiting all three places and a short dialog event, the quest completes and you’ll be awarded Dog of the Dead x1.
Chapter 5 – After gathering information on Marcel, you’ll be able to speak with her at the Shadowverse Stadium Entrance. After the Mysterious Girl runs off, you’ll speak with the Manager. When prompted, tell her “Mimori!”. After another cutscene, you’ll receive Alice’s emblem.
Chapter 6 – Speak with the cat outside of the Shadowverse Stadium Entrance. After the cutscene, win against Alice in Shadowverse to receive a Ticket to Alice’s Concert. You’ll also unlock the Alice Kurobane leader skin.
Chapter 7 – Speak with Alice’s manager near the Shadowverse Stadium Entrance to head to the concert triggering a cutscene. At the end you’ll receive a Skeleton Raider card and figurine. Alice can also be found in her usual spot if you want to challenge her to a match!
Luca Yonazuki
Location: Nekome Back Alley
Chapter 4 – Speak with Luca and choose whatever name you’d like. Next, speak with the following people in the Shopping District:
- Knowledgeable Woman
- Knowing Student
- Timid Brother & Lively Sister
- Well-Informed Student
After you speak with everyone, a cutscene will trigger resulting in the completion of the quest and you’ll receive Luca’s emblem.
Chapter 7 – Speak with Luca to trigger a cutscene. When it completes, you’ll receive his sleeves.
Chapter 7 (After reaching Master Rank) – Speak with Shiori sitting on the bench at the Takanome Hospital. This will trigger a cutscene leading to the end of the quest and you’ll receive a Scarlet Vampire card.
Kagura Kirisame
Location: Tensei Academy 4F Studen Council Room
Chapter ??? – Speak with Kagura and ask if she needs a hand. Interact with the three piles of papers (shiny glimmer on the tables) to trigger another cutscene. The quest will complete when you’re done and you’ll also receive Kagura’s emblem.
Chapter ??? – Speak with Kagura again to offer your assistance leading to a cutscene. The quest will complete when it ends and you’ll receive Kagura Kirisame sleeves.
Chapter ??? – Check in with Kagura to trigger another cutscene. When it ends, you’ll complete the quest and receive 5 Classic packs.
Chapter ??? – Speak with Kagura and tell her you’re all hers to trigger a cutscene. This will result in a match against a Bloodcraft deck that floods the board with bats. Defeat her to trigger another cutscene leading to the completion of the quest. You’ll also receive Kagura’s leader skin.
Chapter ??? –
Mauro Abelard
Location: Nekome Back Alley
Chapter 4 – Speak with Mauro who is searching for a book of forgotten folktales. In the library, search all the bookshelves until a cutscene triggers and the quest completes. You’ll receive Mauro’s emblem.
Chapter 6 – You’ll need to push forward with the story in this chapter to unlock this event. Speak with Mauro then begin your search for the cat. You can find it in the bushes behind the blue half circle. With the task complete, he’ll give you his sleeves.
Chapter 7 – Speak with Mario to continue the search for the missing pages. After a cutscene, speak with the kids to get the pink, round and whiskers clues, then head down the shopping district to the cat statue across the street from the shadowvendor. Interact with it to find the treasure. This will trigger a cutscene where you’ll receive the Book of Forgotten Folktales Page 3. When the quest ends you’ll also receive a Cursed Maiden card.
Chapter 7 (After reaching Master Rank) – Speak with Mario to keep searching for the missing pages. This will trigger a cutscene and you’ll receive Book of Forgotten Folktales Page 4 and Maruo’s leader skin.
