Below is a walkthrough of Lucy’s Romance Stories in Rune Factory 5.
Cryptid Sighting
Requirements: Friendship Level 2
Location: Great Tree Plaza
Objective: Investigate the cryptids in the Great Tree Plaza with Lucy and the others.
Head to Great Tree Plaza to trigger a dialog event with Lucy, Priscilla and Cecil where you’ll learn about a mystery that is afoot. When Lucy asks you about making a contest out of who can solve the mystery first, choose Okay, you’re on! Once the dialog event concludes, head to The Blue Moon for another dialog event will Murakumo will formally request the gang’s help. You’ll then need to wait until 7pm for the next event to trigger. Head back inside The Blue Moon to trigger another dialog event. When you gain control of your character, head up the stairs and make your way to find the group near the sitting area in the middle of the upper level. This will trigger another dialog event. After it concludes, you’ll need to return to Murakumo in the morning to report your findings and complete the story.
Minor Event
Requirements: Complete previous event then wait a few days
Location: Near the river next to the Blue Moon
Objective: Check in with Lucy
This one seemed to be a quick event. Head to the river next to the Blue Moon to trigger a single dialog event.
A Present
Requirements: Friendship Level 4
Location: Rigbarth Clinic
Objective: See what’s got Lucy excited
Head to the clinic to trigger a dialog event with Lucy and her family, learning about her father. This will start the next romance story for Lucy. Wait until the next day then travel to the smithy for a dialog event. After the smithy, travel to the Sweet Hearth Bakery for yet another dialog event. Travel to the Belpha Ruins for the third dialog event on the same day. Wait until the next day then head to Great Tree Plaza for a dialog event. Afterwards, exit the town and head east to the Phoros Woodlands. Keep following the eastern path to find Lucy, which will trigger another dialog event. When it finishes, the event will complete.
