Below are the side quests you can obtain at Shadow Isles in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. Please note that they are listed in alphabetical order!
Coming Home
Obtained: The Drowned Port – Speak with the ghost (Phillias) just north of Patron’s Landing
Objective: Gather the lost denizens of the Ruined Port; Find the Blacksmith Torus, Arcanist Elora and Cook Kapros
The denizens can be found at the below locations:
- Torus – The Coastal Academy – In the area just after the Lecture Hall
- Elora – The Coastal Academy – In the Academy Stacks room amongst all the bookshelves
- Kapros – The Academy Gardens – Near the fishing spot just before the Stonelake Repository
After you find all 3, return to Phillias in The Drowned Port to receive a Hardened Ring and 450 gold.
Demons of Mist
Obtained: The Drowned Port – After completing the Ancient Knowledge main story quest, speak with Phillias.
Objective: Find and kill 3 powerful Mistwalkers in Academy, Graveyard and Forest
- Academy – In The Coastal Academy, head to the objective in the Lecture Hall to find a Doom Striker walking around. Defeat it!
- Graveyard – In The Graveyard, head to the objective in the Lifeless Scarp to find a Mistwalker wondering around. Defeat it!
- Forest – In the Dread Woods, head to the objective in the Profane Galleries to find a Doom Striker walking around. Defeat it!
After you’ve defeated all the creatures, return to Phillias to complete the quest and receive 2,500 gold.
Hunting the Mist
Obtained: The Drowned Port – Speak with Phillias after completing the main story quest at Shadow Vault
Objective: Find and kill 3 powerful Mistwalkers in Ruined Port, Graveyard and Shadow Vault (all in Shadow Isles)
- Ruined Port – In The Drowned Port head to the objective just to the south of Scholar’s Climb to find a Mistwalker Shield Bearer. Defeat it!
- Graveyard – Travel to the objective in the Vale of Eternity to find a Fear Eater. Defeat it!
- Shadow Vault – Travel to the Blessed Vault Terrace in The Dead Woods to find the Mistwalker Shield Bearer and Fear Eater. Defeat them!
After you take out the mistwalkers, return to Phillias to receive 850 gold.
Ionia Bound
Obtained: Baron’s Rest – After completing the main story at Shadow Vault, return to Baron’s Rest and speak with the person at the table between the entrance and the bar on the left side of the screen to start the quest and obtain a Warehouse Key and Blossom Jewel.
Objective: Neutralize the cargo
Exit Baron’s Rest and take the elevator up to the Slums Market. Use the Warehouse Key on the locked door to the left just before the bridge.
Once inside, interact with the cargo on the back right to use the Blossom Jewel to neutralize the cargo. A fight will trigger with a Jagged Hooks Cannoneer, Yordle Padfoot and Pugilist all of which are level 23. After you defeat them, return to Mirrim at Baron’s Rest to receive 1,000 gold and an Empyrean Whisker.
The Cannon
Obtained: The Drowned Port – Speak with Kalia on the southeastern side of The Drowned Port after completing the main story quest at Shadow Vault
Objective: Find the experimental cannon blueprints in Grey Harbor
Once in Grey Harbor, make your way to where Malik was hiding earlier in the story to find Captain Floon and his crew.
Defeat them then give the cannon to the blacksmith at Cutpurse Square in the Slums Market to receive Miss Fortune Ultimate 3 Unlocked: Bombardment.
The Chain Warden’s Workshop
Obtained: The Drowned Port – After completing the Ancient Knowledge main story quest, approach the stairs leading out of The Drowned Port north of Kalia to begin this quest.
Objective: Find Thresh’s Artifact Workshop
Use the teleport pad to travel to the Library of Agony in Thresh’s Dungeon. Once there, make your way east and unlock the door using your newly upgraded amulet. You’ll then reach Arcane Forge and Atheneum. Head inside a short ways to complete the quest.
The Devoured
Obtained: The Drowned Port – Speak with Kalia on the southeastern side of The Drowned Port after completing the main story quest at Shadow Vault
Objective: Land a killing blow on 25 enemies with Ahri and return to Kalia
Using Ahri, deal the final blow to 25 enemies. When you’ve completed this task, return to Kalia to receive Ahri Ultimate 3 unlocked: Wither!
The Elite
Obtained: The Drowned Port – Automatically after completing Hunting the Mist
Objective: Return to Kalia
After you defeat the 3 mistwalkers from the Hunting the Mist quest (see above) speak with Kalia on the southeastern side of The Drowned Port to receive Pyke Ultimate 3 Unlocked: Reaper.
The Idol
Obtained: The Drowned Port – Speak with Kalia on the southeastern side of The Drowned Port after completing the main story quest at Shadow Vault
Objective: Find the lost Idol of Nagakabouros
With Illaoi in your party, speak with the guy at the arena in Baron’s Rest using her special options to begin a fight with a level 16 Infused Angler. Defeat it to receive a Mysterious Idol. Afterwards, make your way to the Well of the Mother Serpent. Work your way all the way to the top deck of the ship. Once on the deck head to the far right to the narrow plank sticking off of the bow of the ship to offer the idol to the Serpent Mother. You’ll receive Illaoi Ultimate 3 unlocked: Avatar.
The Secret
Obtained: The Drowned Port – Speak with Kalia on the southeastern side of The Drowned Port after completing the main story quest at Shadow Vault
Objective: Find the Blademaster’s Scroll
The Blademaster’s Scroll can be found on a bookshelf in the Grand Library at the Vault of Giants, which is on Shadow Isles.
To reach the Vault of Giants, you’ll need to travel through The Academy Gardens and use Ahri to unlock the door. After you’ve collected the scroll, return to Kalia in The Drowned Port to receive Yasuo Ultimate 3 unlocked: Wind Rush.
The Token
Obtained: The Drowned Port – Speak with Kalia on the southeastern side of The Drowned Port after completing the main story quest at Shadow Vault
Objective: Find a Token of Purity
The Token of Purity can be found at the Purification Temple in Ocean. In the room just past the fishing hole, there is a place for you to use Braum’s ability to send a Poro through a hole in the wall. Do so to trigger a scene. You’ll then need to find some plant bait (seaweed). If you don’t already have some, head to the nearby fishing spot and fish until you receive some. Once you have the seaweed, place it near the hole to attract the creature then defeat it. With the way now clear, send the Poro back through the hole so it can get the chest which contains the Token of Purity. After obtaining the token, return to Kalia to hand it over. You’ll receive Braum Ultimate 3 unlocked: Crushing Assault.
