This is our walkthrough for the twelfth main story mission in Pokemon Legends: Arceus called The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra! Below you’ll find each objective for the mission and how to complete them so expect to find some spoilers.
Head to the Alabaster Icelands
Exit Galaxy Hall and head for the eastern gate to trigger a cutscene with Professor Laventon and Akari/Rei. It will conclude with a battle against Akari/Rei who will have a level 46 Mr. Mime, level 46 Staravia and level 47 Pikachu. After your victory, speak with Ress to travel to the Alabaster Icelands. As you arrive, a cutscene will trigger.
Go to meet Gaeric of the Pearl Clan
Follow the objective north through Bonechill Wastes to Avalugg’s Legacy and approach the group to trigger a cutscene which leads to a battle with Gaeric’s level 48 Glalie and level 24 Froslass. Defeat them to continue the cutscene.
Speak with Sabi of Diamond Clan
Approach the girl on the hill next to Braviary and speak with her.
Catch up to Sabi
Fast travel to Snowfields Camp then make your way up the western mountain in Whiteout Valley to reach Sabi. Once at the top, speak with her. After the cutscene, she’ll again fly off. This time, make your way to the very northern part of the map to find Sabi at Snowpoint Temple. Speak with her.
Make your way to the top floor of Snowpoint Temple
Once you enter Snowpoint Temple, work your way up to the next floor where you’ll spot some statues. Continue to the end of the floor to reach the puzzle. The order is as follows:
- Rock / Steel / Ice
The second puzzle is as follows:
- Ice / Rock / Steel / Rock / Ice
The third and final puzzle is as follows:
- Steel / Ice / Rock / Ice / Steel / Rock
After clearing all the puzzles, continue upwards then speak with Sabi to trigger a fight with her level 50 Rhyperior, level 30 Magmortar and level 30 Electivire. Defeat her.
Prove your strength to Braviary on the roof of Snowpoint Temple
Continue up the stairs and down the long hallway. Emerge from the temple and speak with Sabi to begin the fight against the level 54 Braviary. Defeat it to earn the Sky Plate. You can also call Braviary to glide through the air with him!
Glide with Braviary to land atop Avalugg’s Legacy and obtain a piece of Eternal Ice
When you’re ready, mount Braviary and glide south to Avalugg’s Legacy. Once at the objective, select to investigate the ice where prompted to trigger a brief cutscene. You’ll obtain a piece of Eternal Ice afterwards!
Make your way to Icepeak Arena
Follow the objective to reach Icepeak Arena. Speak with the duo.
Quell the frenzy of Avalugg, the Lord of the Tundra, at Icepeak Arena
Make your way down the path deeper into Icepeak Arena and speak with Gaeric when you’re ready to battle Avalugg. Defeat the lord to receive the Icicle Plate.
Report to Commander Kamado that you have accomplished your mission
Please note that after you report to Commander Kamado you won’t be able to return to Jubilife Village for several mission. Take care of anything you need to in town then make your way to the third floor of Galaxy Hall to trigger a cutscene with Kamado. Afterwards, the mission will complete!
