Monster Hunter Stories 2 – Elder’s Lair Zone 3

Below is a guide on the Elder’s Lair Zone 3 Trial, which is the end game content in Monster Hunter Stories 2.

Objective: Win within the specified number of turns

Cephadrome

Normal: Speed

Weak Point: Ice

• Tail – Slash

Defeat the Cepadrome in 5 turns. For this one, you’re going to want a strong slash weapon with Ice damage. Just keep attacking the Cepadrome with it and you should win. Also watch out for when the monster tries to dive underground.

Monoblos

Normal: Speed

Enraged: Power

Weak Point: Electric

• Horn – N/A
• Tail – Slash

Defeat the Monoblos in 10  turns. For this fight, we recommend bringing Reverto if you’re having trouble. Also, make sure you have an electric-based weapon and plenty of Sonic Bombs for when the Monoblos tries to dive underground.

Black Diablos

Normal: Power

Enraged: Speed

Weak Point: Ice

• Horn – Blunt
• Tail – Slash

Defeat the Black Diablos in 15  turns. Reverto is also recommended in this fight as well along with using and ice-based weapon for some extra damage.
