As you progress through Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll receive assignments from Professor Sharp, who can be found in the Potions classroom in the Library Annex. You’ll receive the first assignment during the Complete the First Keeper Trial main mission. Below are walkthroughs for these assignments.
Assignment 1
Obtained: From an Owl Post after starting the Complete the First Keeper Trial main story quest.
For the first assignment, Professor Sharp will task you with acquiring and using a Focus Potion. You’ll also need to acquire both Maxima and Edurus Potions and then use them simultaneously. The easiest way to do this would be to purchase an Edurus Potion for 300 gold, a Focus Potion for 500 gold and a Maxima Potion for 300 gold from J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade. You can then drink the potions to satisfy the condition of each task. With that done, the next step is to attend Potion Class in the Library Annex. After the class speak with Professor Sharp to learn the Depulso spell.
Assignment 2
Obtained: You’ll receive an owl post from Professor Sharp shortly after completing his first assignment
The second assignment from Professor Sharp tasks you with obtaining an Invisibility Potion and using it. You’ll also need to procure a Thunderbrew Potion and use it against some enemies. You can buy both potions from J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade. The Invisibility Potion costs 500 gold and the Thunderbrew Potion costs 1,000 gold. You can use the Invisibility Potion anywhere to satisfy the task but for the Thunderbrew Potion, you’ll need to head to the world map and find a group of enemies then drink it near them. This will cause a small thundercloud to appear shocking your foes. With both tasks completed, return to Professor Sharp in the Potions Classroom and speak with him to learn the Diffindo spell.
