The unwritten tales in Ghost of Tsushima’s Iki Island DLC are hard to find as they are not marked on the map. You’ll need to complete all of them to earn the Common Courtesy trophy.

Bury Captain

When you first land on Iki Island, examine the dead captain of your ship. You’ll have the option to bury him. Do so to complete this unwritten tale!

Save Bees

In the Old Gambler’s Wood, speak with the beekeeper outside his house then defend the bees against the Mongols.

Stop the Drowning

Right in the middle of Buddha’s Footprints there is a lake where Mongols are drowning peasants. You’ll hear a Mongol talking as you approach the area. Please note this lake is high on the mountain, not down below. Defeat all the Mongols for a cutscene to trigger.

Protect the Land

North of Senjo Gorge, you’ll come across a burnt house. Interact with the banner in front of the house to trigger a cutscene with Kodama. After the cutscene, follow behind Kodama. When she stops, head towards the purple wisteria trees to encounter a group of Mongols. Defeat them. Afterwards, return to the burnt house and search the stump to find a note addressed to you.

Complete Raider Memorial archery challenge

Complete Legends mode

In order for this unwritten tale to unlock, you must complete the Legends mode in Ghost of Tsushima. There are 9 stories total in the Legends mode. Once completed, return to the main game and travel to a house a short ride northwest of the Sheltered Campsite, which is north of Zasho Bay. Head inside the house and speak with the woman. You’ll then sit in front of her to begin the tale. Afterwards, you’ll receive the White Kitsune Mask.
