Investigate location
Travel to northwestern Deep Forest Lake to find a man kneeling in front of a fence along the road.
Track the Mongols
Follow the tracks in the snow near the road leading to the bridge. They will take you to a homestead.
Search for Chuta
Clear out the enemies then search inside the first house to find Chuta tied up. Release him.
Travel to the grieving father
Head back to the man near Deep Forest Lake. He will not be there.
Search for the grieving father
Defeat the Mongols then read the scroll on the stump near the hanging body. Follow the tracks in the snow to the edge of a cliff. Reaching the cliff will complete the tale.
