As you explore Diablo IV, you’ll come across side quests which are needed to complete the Dry Steppes region. Below is a table of where you can find the Dry Steppes side quests along with walkthroughs for certain quests.

Augury of Bones
For the Augury of Bones side quest, you’ll need to speak with Ogai in the Valley of the Strayed. To reach this area, head northeast of town towards the objective.
Once there speak with Ogai who will want Bone Dust. Defeat the nearby skeletons and gather the Bone Dust they drop.
When you’ve collected 3, return to Ogai. You’ll then need to investigate the Immemorial Inscription which can be found on the column behind him. Afterwards, speak with Ogai to complete the quest. You’ll then automatically receive the next quest in this series called Hubris Smiles Back.
Consumed by Pride
To begin the Consumed by Pride side quest, speak with Ealda then make your way to the spot shown on the map below.
Once there, interact with the Mutilated Barbarian. Afterwards, return to Ealda to complete the quest.
Corroding Mettle
During the Corroding Mettle side quest, you’ll need to check on Khada who went north of Jirandai. Khada’s Corpse can be found just east of the entrance to the Cannibal’s Hold cellar.
Curious Curios
During the Curious Curios side quest, you’ll need to find a pot around the area. The pot you’re looking for is the Malevolent Relic on the southwestern side of the search area.
Keeping the Old Traditions
Interact with the Lonely Offering on the ground just north of where you find Ogai in the Augury of Bones side quest. For this quest, you’ll need to show the ancient statue you keep the traditions. Make your way to the statue just west of where you found the Lonely Offering to find the statue against the cliffside. Use the “Yes” Emote then interact with the hidden chest to the right of the statue to complete the quest.
