This is a walkthrough for the Jo’s Rainy Day Stash Lost & Found quest in Dead Island 2!
How to Start the Quest
This quest is available after arriving at Venice Beach. You’ll want to head to the strip of shops and look for Jo’s Rentals near the center of the area. Break the widow to enter the building, but be wary as this will set off an alarm calling in the undead. You can hit the alarm near the fin of the shark on the logo to silence it.
Once inside, head to the back left counter of the store and grab the Jo’s Secret Stash journal entry. This will officially start the quest.
Follow the Paper Trail to Jo’s Kick-Ass Stash!
if you read Jo’s Secret Stash, then you’ll learn that Jo was hooking up with a MILF in Venice near the main store. Before heading out, make sure to grab Jo’s Staff Room Key from the nearby file cabinet then leave the store. The main store for Jo’s Rental can be found directly southeast of The Blue Crab.
Head inside then make your way over to the counter to find Jo’s Beloved Baby. Pick it up to learn about Jo’s truck special red truck. Before setting out for the truck, use that key from the last store to open up the staff area and loot its contents. Run around the building to the parking lot behind the store to find the red truck (spot shown on map below). Jo will also show up and grace you with his presence.
Take care of him the look the Jo’s Final Farwell that he drops. Finally, make your way to Marla’s Tapas & Tacos near the parking lot.
You’ll need to head around the back of the building and climb up to the roof of the neighboring market.
From there you can jump onto Marla’s roof and head through the fence (watching out for the trap) to loot the chest completing the quest. For more guides on Dead Island 2, click here!
