Henry ends up in the town of Merhojed to question a bandit the town has captured. Upon arriving in the village, he learns that all of the animals have died and half of the town is sick with some sort of plague. The local bailiff tells Henry that in order to talk to the captive, he will need to help save the townspeople first.
Some millhands at the Budin mill caught a Cuman and have asked Henry for help. The plan is to find a translator and use him to find out from the Cuman where he hid his treasure.
A farmhand asks Henry to get some revenge on the people that wronged him.
Alex asks Henry to supply him with some game to help out the Skalitz refugees.
Andrew, the innkeeper of the Inn in the Glade, wants to procure some game meat for some priority customers.
Huntsman Berthold in Rattay will task Henry with catching some Nightingales that escaped from their bird cages. He gives Henry 3 bird traps for catching the birds and mimics the cry they make for Henry to use in tracking them.
