Xenoblade Chronicles – Valak Mountain Side Quests

Below are the side quests that can be obtained in Valak Mountain!

 

Bad Timing

Obtained: Speak with the Nopon Researcher in Great Glacier after unlocking ice melting

Objective: Defeat 4 Cunning Chilkins on Valak Mountain

After accepting the quest, the Cunning Chilkins will appear directly behind you at the entrance to the tunnel where you melted the ice. Defeat them then speak with the Nopon Researcher again to complete the quest.

 

Chilkins and Antols

Obtained: Speak with the Nopon Researcher at Nopon Camp

Objective: Defeat 5 Poleaxe Chilkins and 5 Ent Antols on Valak Mountain

Poleaxe Chilkins and Ent Antols can easily be found wandering around Valak Mountain. The Ent Antols can be readily found in Antol Den, which is directly above the Nopon Camp. To reach the Antol Den, you will need to travel to the Bagnar Snowfield landmark then enter the tunnel straight ahead. While sliding, jump across the first gap into the tunnel. You’ll then curve around and need to jump to the area above the next tunnel. Once you defeat the enemies, return to the Nopon Researcher to complete the quest.

 

Chilkin Changes

Obtained: Speak with Dakuku at Nopon Camp

Objective: Investigate the Chilkin Lair in Bagnar Snowfield on Valak Mountain

Travel to Chilkin Lair on the western side of the map and investigate the spot where indicated. After you inspect the ground, a group of level 39 Ent Antols will appear. Defeat them then return to Dakuku to complete the quest.

 

Monster Quest 1

Obtained: Speak with the Nopon Merchant in Zokhed Pass

Objective: Defeat 2 Monta Moramoras on Valak Mountain

Monta Moramoras can be found all over Valak Mountain. There are a lot near the Mechonis Wound landmark. Defeat them to complete the quest.

 

Monster Quest 2

Obtained: Speak with the Nopon Merchant in Zokhed Pass

Objective: Defeat 5 Sparas Paguls on Valak Mountain

The Sparas Paguls can be found at Nagul Waterfall. Defeat them to complete the quest.

 

Monster Quest 3

Obtained: Speak with the Nopon Merchant in Zokhed Pass

Objective: Defeat 3 Bow Chilkins on Valak Mountain

The Bow Chilkins are located in Bagnar Snowfield. Defeat them to complete the quest.

 

Monster Quest 4

Obtained: Speak with the Nopon Merchant in Zokhed Pass

Objective: Defeat 1 Sesna Lexos on Valak Mountain

The Sesna Lexos can be found near the Mechonis Wound. Defeat them to complete the quest.

 

The Balance of Power

Obtained: Speak with Dakuku at Nopon Camp after completing the Chilkin Changes side quest

Objective: Defeat Barbaric Sitri in Antol Den and Banquet Vassago in Valak Mountain

In order to get this quest, you must speak with Dakuku with Dunban as the party leader. Barbaric Sitri is a level 47 unique enemy that can be found in Antol Den, which is directly above the Nopon Camp. To reach it, you will need to travel to the Bagnar Snowfield landmark then enter the tunnel straight ahead. While sliding, jump across the first gap into the tunnel. You’ll then curve around and need to jump to the area above the next tunnel. This area will be Antol Den. The Banquet Vassago is also located in the Antol Den in one of the Bonterra Pods. Attack the large pod and the level 48 unique enemy will pop out. Once both enemies are defeated, return to Dakuku with him with Dunban as the party leader.

 

The Final Giants’ Ruins

Obtained: Speak with Zain between 6:00 – 6:00 in the Sealed Tower

Objective: Collect 3 Giants’ Treasures from all around the world

Complete The Giants’ Treasures side quest.

 

The Giants’ Treasures

Obtained: Speak with Zain between 6:00 – 6:00 in the Sealed Tower

Objective: Collect the Truth of the Giants, Daring of the Giants and Heart of the Giants

The Truth of the Giants is located in Tephra Cave in the Trader’s Stopover south of the Heavenly Window landmark on 2F. The Daring of the Giants is located in Satorl Marsh. The Heart of the Giants is located in King Agni’s Tomb in Makna Forest.

 

The Freezing Nopon

Obtained: Speak with the Nopon Researcher

Objective: Collect 3 Hox Flints, 2 Antol Fire Pouches and 1 Feris Aged Ale

To reach this Nopon, you will need to have found Valak Peak in the very north of the map. To reach Valak Peak, you will need to use the ice slide on Agul Mountain Range, which is in the eastern part of the map. The Hox Flints are dropped from Porcu Hoxes, which are located near the Lava Cave landmark. The Antol Fire Pouces are dropped from Ent Antols on Valak Mountain. The Feris Aged Ale is dropped from a Noto Feris on Valak Mountain. Once you gather all the items, return to the Nopon Researcher to complete the quest.

 

Valak Mountain Research

Obtained: Speak with the Nopon Researcher at Nopon Camp after completing Chilkins and Antols

Objective: Take in the scenery from Befalgar Pedestal and Kana Peak

Follow the objective to Kana Peak, which is located in the central part of the map. You will need to climb up a super narrow ledge to reach Kana Peak. The entrance to this ledge is marked in the image below!

Befalgar Pedestal is located in the far south eastern part of the lower level of Valak Mountain. Once you take in the scenery, return to the Nopon Researcher.

Below are the side quests that can be obtained in Eryth Sea!

 

Ancient High Entia Mystery

Obtained: Speak with Talia between 18:00 – 6:00 at the Ether Plant

Objective: Investigate the War God statue at La Luz Church in Valak Mountain

You will be able to enter La Luz Church after completing the side quest called The Imperial Ceremony. Head inside the church then interact with the statue. Afterwards book it back to Talia because a level 97 enemy will spawn after you interact with the statue. Once you speak with Talia as Melia, the quest will complete.

 

Collection Quest 1

Obtained: Speak to an Alcamoth Citizen on the second level of Syrath Lighthouse

Objective: Collect 3 Hiln Coin Purses  and 5 Doomsday Poppies from Eryth Sea

Hiln Coin Purses are dropped from Eryth Hiln, which can be found on Hovering Reef 1 near Latael Shore and Anu Shore (eastern Eryth Sea). The Doomsday Poppies can be found on the ground near Latael Shore.

 

Collection Quest 2

Obtained: Speak to an Alcamoth Citizen on the second level of Syrath Lighthouse

Objective: Collect 3 Andos Antennae, 3 Old Dragon Spines and 3 spears of Pink Asparagus

The Andos Antennae are dropped from Azul Andos in the High Entia Tomb. The Old Dragon Spines are dropped from Racti Lexos, which are located on Hovering Reef 5 and Hovering Reef 8. To reach the one on Hovering Reef 5, you will need to drop down the hole on the floating part of Hovering Reef 5 to reach the pond below. The Pink Asparagus can be found on the ground on Hovering Reef 3 & 4.

 

Hode Attack

Obtained: Speak with Jarack at the Ether Plant after completing the Trouble at the Plant side quest

Objective: Defeat 2 Confusion Ekidnos at Eryth Sea

The Confusion Ekidno are located at Ether Plant. Defeat them then return to Jarack and speak with him to complete the quest.

 

Mend the Plant

Obtained: Speak with Jarack at the Ether Plant

Objective: Collect 3 pieces of Luxury Hode Wood from Hodes at Eryth Sea

The Luxury Hode Woods are dropped from Possessio Hode on Hode Refuge. Once you collect the items, return to Jarack and speak with him. Afterwards, use the Turbine Access Panel in the Ether Plant to fix the plant then return to Jarack.

 

Monster Quest 1

Obtained: Speak to the Lighthouse Keeper at Syrath Lighthouse

Objective: Defeat 5 Palti Kromars at Eryth Sea

The Palti Kromars can be found on Hovering Reefs 6 and 7.

 

Monster Quest 2

Obtained: Speak to the Lighthouse Keeper at Syrath Lighthouse

Objective: Defeat 5 Maleza Kromars at Eryth Sea

The Maleza Kromars can be found on Hovering Reef 7.

 

Monster Quest 3

Obtained: Speak to the Lighthouse Keeper at Syrath Lighthouse

Objective: Defeat Flabbergasted Jerome in the area of Hovering Reef 5 at Eryth Sea

The Flabbergasted Jerome is a level 38 unique enemy that can be found on Hovering Reef 5 in the water underneath the hovering island. You will need to drop down the hole on the floating part of Hovering Reef 5 to reach the pond below.

 

Punish the Hodes

Obtained: Speak with Jarack at the Ether Plant

Objective: Defeat Funeral Gozra at the Hode Refuge in Eryth Sea

Funeral Gozra is a level 42 unique enemy that can be found in Hode Refuge. After defeating him, return to Jarack and speak with him.

 

The Missing Boy

Obtained: Speak with Miriall between 18:00 – 6:00 at the Ether Plant

Objective: Talk to Teelan

Teelan can be found in Alcamoth in the southeastern part of Melfica Road. Speak with him then return to Miriall to complete the quest.

 

Trouble at the Lighthouse

Obtained: Speak with Shalen on Hovering Reef 4

Objective: Defeat 3 Decay Ekidnos near Syrath Lighthouse at Eryth Sea (only at night)

In order to receive this quest, Melia will need to be the party leader when you speak with Shalen. Shalen will then want you to defeat 3 Decay Ekidnos. Switch the game to night then defeat the 3 Decay Ekidnos around Shalen. Afterwards, speak to Shalen to complete the quest.

 

Trouble at the Plant

Obtained: Speak with Jarack at the Ether Plant

Objective: Teach the head of the Hodes a lesson and use the Turbine Access Panel in the Ether Plant at Eryth Sea to fix the plant

Complete the Punish the Hodes and Mend the Plant side quests then speak with Jarack to complete this quest.

Below are the side quests that can be obtained in Alcamoth!

 

Adventures in Peril (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Miriall between 18:00 – 6:00 near the Imperial Palace

Objective: Find Zain and Kurralth near Three Sage Summit on Valak Mountain

Travel to the Three Sage Summit landmark in northern Valak Mountain and follow the path to find Zain and Kurralth. After speaking with them both, return to Miriall to complete the quest.

 

A Necessary Upgrade (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Naroth between 6:00 – 18:00 in Melfica Road after unlocking High Entia Tomb

Objective: Collect 5 Green Diodes and 3 Astas Remote Units

The Green Diodes can be found on the ground around High Entia Tomb. The Astas Remote Units are dropped from Hover Astas in the High Entia Tomb. Once you obtain all the items, return to Naroth.

 

Back Pain (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Galdo between 18:00 – 6:00 near Ascension Hall

Objective: Defeat 6 Archer Hodes at Eryth Sea

The Archer Hodes can be found on Hovering Reef 2. When you defeat them, return to Galdo and speak with him.

 

Bring Back my Son! (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Merisa between 6:00 – 18:00 in Melfica Road

Objective: Find Mir’leiz at Eryth Sea

Mir’leiz can be found on Hovering Reef 1. Speak with the child then return to Merisa.

 

Building Bridges (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Arielle between 18:00 – 6:00 near the Fountain of Eternity

Objective: Talk to Lesunia

Speak with Lesunia at night with Melia as the party leader. She will want you to collect 2 pieces of Marine Marble, which can be found on the ground in Eryth Sea. Once you obtain the items, return to Lesunia and speak with her then speak with Arielle.

 

Challenge 1 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen near the Fountain of Hope at night

Objective: Defeat Proper Bandaz in the area of Secluded Island at Eryth Sea (only during shooting stars)

The Proper Bandaz is a level 39 unique enemy that can only be found during shooting stars on the Secluded Island. To get the shooting stars, keep resetting the time until you see the stars fall from the sky! *Look at the western/southwestern sky to see the stars rain down.

 

Challenge 2 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen on the ground floor near the Fountain of Eternity at night

Objective: Defeat Tempestuous Edegia on Hovering Reef 10 at Eryth Sea (only at night)

The Tempestuous Edegia is a level 39 unique enemy that can be found at night on Hovering Reef 10.

 

Challenge 3 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Imperial Guard in the Great Hall during the day

Objective: Defeat Peeling Kircheis on Hovering Reef 7 at Eryth Sea

The Peeling Kircheis is a level 36 unique enemy, which can be found on Hovering Reef 7.

 

Challenge 4 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen near the Main Entrance during the day

Objective: Defeat Lightspeed Sonid in the area of Anu Shore at Eryth Sea

The Lightspeed Sonid is a level 44 unique enemy can be found on Anu Shore (eastern Eryth Sea). To reach the upper level where this enemy is located, swim along the cliff (east) towards the structure to find a cave with a path leading up.

 

Collection Quest 1 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen in Melifica Road during the day

Objective: Collect 3 lots of Gold Burdock at Eryth Sea

The Gold Burdock can be found on the ground around Hovering Reef 3 and 4.

 

Collection Quest 2 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen near the Main Entrance during the day

Objective: Collect 2 White Tails at Eryth Sea

The White Tails can be found on the ground on Hovering Reef 4.

 

Collection Quest 3 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen near the Fountain of Hope during the day

Objective: Collect 5 Stardrops in Alcamoth

The Stardrops can be found on the ground in Alcamoth.

Objective: Collect 2 Spiral Lamps in the High Entia Tomb

The Spiral Lamp can be found on the ground in High Entia Tomb on B1F.

Objective: Talk to Baroba

Speak with Baroba between 6:00 – 18:00 near the Main Entrance then collect 5 Ether Roses. These roses can be found on the ground throughout Satorl Marsh. Once you collect the items, speak with Baroba then talk to Popipo.

 

How do I Feel? (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Scarlen between 18:00 – 6:00 near the Main Entrance after completing the How do they Feel? side quest

Objective: Talk to Rozeal or Ricoth

Speak with both Rozeal and Ricoth then return to Scarlen to complete the quest.

 

How do they Feel? (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Scarlen between 18:00 – 6:00 near the Main Entrance

Objective: Talk to Ricoth

Speak with Ricoth between 18:00 – 6:00 near the Fountain of Eternity then speak with Rozeal between 18:00 – 6:00, who is standing right next to Ricoth. After speaking with them, return to Scarlen to complete the quest.

 

Looking for a Lost Daughter (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Vol’aren between 6:00 – 18:00 near the Fountain of Hope after completing the Looking for a Lost Son side quest

Objective: Find Cian

Cian is located in the water next to a raised platform northeast of the Fountain of Hope. Speak with her then return to Vol’aren to complete the quest.

 

Looking for a Lost Son (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Vol’aren between 6:00 – 18:00 near the Fountain of Hope

Objective: Find Atael

Antael is located northeast of Vol’aren in the corner. Speak with Antael then return to Vol’aren and speak with him to complete the quest.

 

Looking for Gold Bugs (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Teelan between 6:00 – 18:00 in Melifica Road

Objective: Collect 9 Gold Caterpillars from Tephra Cave

The Gold Caterpillars can be found on the ground in Tephra Cave. When you collect the items, return to Teelan to complete the quest.

 

Losing the Taste for Alcohol (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Nelo between 18:00 – 6:00 near the Fountain of Hope

Objective: Collect 2 lots of Feris Blood and 5 Pagul Hot Pots

The Feris Blood is dropped from Makna and Lupus Feris near the Twisted Tree Gate in Makna Forest. The Cruz Paguls can be found near Latael Shore or Anu Shore (eastern Eryth Sea). When you collect the items, return to Nelo to complete the quest.

Objective: Collect 2 Glossy Grady Fans from Lunar Gradys at Eryth Sea

The Glossy Grady Fans are dropped from Lunar Gradys, which can be found near Latael Shore or Sleeping Dragon Isle (north of Hovering Reef 7).

 

Material Quest 2 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen in Melfica Road during the day

Objective: Collect 5 Orluga Grass Skirts from Orluga in Makna Forest

The Orluga Grass Skirks are dropped from Terra Orluga near the Twisted Tree Gate.

 

Material Quest 3 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Imperial Guard near the Main Entrance during the day

Objective: Collect 3 Orluga Slacks from Orlugas at Eryth Sea

The Orluga Slacks are dropped from Pulse Orluga in Hode Refuge.

 

Material Quest 4 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Imperial Guard in Melfica Road during the day

Objective: Collect 2 Lexos Beards from Racti Lexos at Eryth Sea

The Lexos Beards are dropped from Racti Lexos, which can be found on Hovering Reef 5 in the water underneath the hovering island. You will need to drop down the hole on the floating part of Hovering Reef 5 to reach the pond below.

Objective: Defeat 5 Cruz Paguls at Eryth Sea

The Cruz Paguls can be found near Latael Shore and Anu Shore (eastern Eryth Sea).

Objective: Defeat 3 Eryth Ansels at Eryth Sea

The Eryth Ansels are located in Hovering Reef 2 and 4.

Objective: Defeat 2 Ciconia Ekidnos at Eryth Sea

The Ciconia Ekidnos can be found on Hovering Reef 7 and 10.

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Imperial Guard near the Imperial Palace in Melfica Road at night

Objective: Defeat 3 Chloro Laias at Eryth Sea

The Chloro Laias are located on the Hovering Reef 4.

 

Monster Quest 2 – Part 2 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Imperial Guard near the Imperial Palace in Melfica Road at night

Objective: Defeat 5 Stella Eks at Eryth Sea

The Stella Eks can be found on Anu Shore (eastern Eryth Sea). To reach the upper level, swim along the cliff (east) towards the structure to find a cave with a path leading up.

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Imperial Guard near the Imperial Palace in Melfica Road at night

Objective: Defeat 1 Racti Lexos at Eryth Sea

The Racti Lexos can be found on Hovering Reef 5 in the water underneath the hovering island. You will need to drop down the hole on the floating part of Hovering Reef 5 to reach the pond below.

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen in Melfica Road during the day

Objective: Defeat 5 Unine Hodes at Eryth Sea

The Unine Hodes are located in Hovering Reef 2.

 

Monster Quest 3 – Part 2 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen in Melfica Road during the day

Objective: Defeat 2 Tocos Orluga at Eryth Sea

The Tocos Orluga can be found in Hode Refuge.

 

Monster Quest 3 – Part 3 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen in Melfica Road during the day

Objective: Defeat 1 Pelargos Ekidno at Eryth Sea

The Pelargos Ekidno is located at Hode Refuge.

 

Monster Quest 4 – Part 1 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Imperial Guard in the Great Hall near Ascension Hall during the day

Objective: Defeat 3 Somati Kromars at Eryth Sea

The Somati Kromars can be found on the Soltnar Seal Island (southeast of Hovering Reef 8).

 

Monster Quest 4 – Part 2 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Imperial Guard in the Great Hall near Ascension Hall during the day

Objective: Defeat 4 Tussock Kromars at Eryth Sea

The Tussock Kromars can be found on the Soltnar Seal Island (southeast of Hovering Reef 8).

 

Monster Quest 4 – Part 3 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Imperial Guard in the Great Hall near Ascension Hall during the day

Objective: Defeat 5 Otol Kromars at Eryth Sea

The Otol Kromars can be found on the Soltnar Seal Island (southeast of Hovering Reef 8).

 

Preparing for Adventure (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Zain between 6:00 – 18:00 near the Main Entrance

Objective: Collect Kasharpa Water, Statue Water and Makna Water

Collect the Kasharpa Water from Kasharpa Falls on the Bionis’ Leg. The Statue Water can be found on the east side of the Sororal Statues in Satorl Marsh. Lastly, the Makna Water can be collected from Great Makna Falls in Makna Forest. Once the water has been collected, return to Zain and speak with him to complete the quest.

 

Preparing for Adventure 2 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Kurralth near the Fountain of Eternity after completing the Preparing for Adventure side quest

Objective: Find the Chalk Container on Anu Shore at Eryth Sea

The Chalk Container can be found on the upper level of Anu Shore, which is in eastern Eryth Sea. To reach it, you will need to swim east along the cliff to reach a cave/tunnel that can be used to reach the area. Once you collect the item, return to Kurralth.

 

Preparing for Adventure 3 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Zain between 6:00 – 18:00 near the Fountain of Eternity after completing the Preparing for Adventure 2 side quest

Objective: Collect Orthlus’ Liver on Agora Shore in Colony 9

The Orthlus’ Liver is dropped from a level 40 unique enemy called Lakebed Orthlus, which can be found swimming near Agora Shore. Defeat it then return to Zain.

 

Search Quest 1 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen near the Main Entrance at night

Objective: Find the Mother’s Necklace on the second level of Alcamoth

The Mother’s Necklace is located in the northern walkway in Melfica Road.

 

Search Quest 2 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen near the Fountain of Hope at night

Objective: Find a Silver Ring somewhere in Alcamoth

The Silver Ring is located in the southern hallway of the Great Hall.

 

Search Quest 3 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen near the Main Entrance during the day

Objective: Find the Merchant’s Gift somewhere on the lower level of Alcamoth

The Merchant’s Gift is located north of the Main Entrance on the ground floor.

 

Search Quest 4 (timed)

Obtained: Speak with an Alcamoth Citizen near the Fountain of Hope at night

Objective: Find the Health Amulet on the lower level of Alcamoth

The Health Amulet is located east of the Fountain of Hope in the northeastern corn.

 

Starlight Gazer (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Elior between 6:00 – 18:00 near the Fountain of Eternity

Objective: Talk to Kaleka

Speak with Kaleka between 18:00 – 6:00 near the Imperial Palace. He will want you to find an Attachment Part in the Second Treasury of the High Entia Tomb. Once you collect the item, return to Kaleka near the Imperial Palace to hand over the item. Afterwards, return to Elior near the Fountain of Eternity and speak with him to complete the quest.

 

Starlight Seeker (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Elior between 6:00 – 18:00 near the Fountain of Eternity after completing the Preparing for Adventure 3 side quest

Objective: Talk to Miriall

Speak with Miriall in Melfica Road between 18:00 – 6:00 who will want you to collect 2 Silver Eks Plates from Stella Eks at Eryth Sea. Once you obtain the items, return to Miriall and speak with her again. Return to Elior to complete the quest.

 

Talia’s Research (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Talia between 18:00 – 6:00 in Melifca Road

Objective: Defeat Dogmatic Gogol at the Place of Judgement in Satorl Marsh

Objective: Collect 6 pieces of Sturdy Armour from Flavel Andos at Eryth Sea

The Sturdy Armour is dropped from Flavel Andos, which are located on Hovering Reef 3. Once you collect the items, return to Ruthan and speak with him to complete the quest.

Obtained: Speak with Pelupelu after completing the Bored Pelupelu side quest

Objective: Grab 5 Wisp Glow Sticks, 3 Ansel Fish Pies and 5 Wet Rats

The Wisp Glow Sticks are dropped by Bunker Wisps in Colony 6. The Ansel Fish Pies are dropped from Ansels on Valak Mountatin. The Wet Rats can be found on the ground around Valak Mountain. Once the items have been collected, return to Pelupelu to complete the quest.

 

A Memento of Daddy

Obtained: Speak with Atael between 6:00 – 18:00 near Nopon Tower

Objective: Collect something precious that has been buried near the Fountain of Hope in Alcamoth

The Family Picture can be found near the Fountain of Hope in Alcamoth. When you collect the item, return to Atael.

 

A Tormented Bug-Lover

Obtained: Speak with Deki near Nopon Tower after completing A Worried Bug-Lover side quest

Objective: Grab 5 lots of Bitter Wisp Fluid from Colony Wisps in Colony 6

Objective: Defeat Pillager Hode in the area of the Ether Crystal Deposit at Eryth Sea

Pillager Hode is a level 35 enemy located at the Ether Crystal Deposit in southern Eryth Sea. Defeat it then return to Rasha who will now want you to give the Cloth Shred to Cherri in the Pollen Orb Storehouse. You will need to speak with Cherri as Sharla. Afterwards, return to Rasha to complete the quest.

 

Beat Kilaki to it!

Obtained: Speak with Leku between 6:00 – 18:00 on the Archaeology Level after completing the Heropon’s Spirit side quest

The Lazy Bluco is a level 34 unique enemy found in the Yellow Flower Grove east of the Windmill Pavilion landmark on the eastern side of Makna Forest. You can only find it at night, and it will be accompanied by several Makna Elucas.

Objective: Defeat 5 Makna Elucas in Yellow Flower Grove in Makna Forest

The Makna Elucas can be found throughout Makna Forest with large clusters near Waypoint Beacon and Yellow Flower Grove (east part of map). Once you defeat the enemies, speak with Cherri between 6:00 – 18:00 in Pollen Works then return to Rasha to complete the quest.

 

Even in the Chief’s Absence

Obtained: Speak with Miko between 6:00 – 3:00 in the Prophecy Hut

Objective: Chat to Pelupelu

Speak with Pelupelu between 6:00 – 3:00 near Apex Lake then get advice from Miko who is in the Mysterious Sanctuary between 6:00 – 3:00. Miko advises that you get 5 portions of Piranhax Belly Meat from Makna Piranhaxes (level 30) in Makna Forest near Eks Watering Hole. After collecting the meat, travel to Miko who can be found at Apex Lake at 22:00 and show him the Piranhax Belly Meat. After speaking with him, return to Pelupelu to complete the quest.

 

Fixing Time Mushrooms

Obtained: Speak with Migaga between 6:00 – 18:00 in the Central Plaza

Objective: Feed compost to the Time Mushrooms on the 1st floor, 4th floor and 7th floor

Interact with the Time Mushrooms on the 1st floor, 4th floor (Pollen Works Level) and 7th floor (Mysterious Sanctuary) then return to Migaga.

 

Getting Bigger!

Obtained: Speak with Dabidabi between 18:00 – 3:00 in the Mysterious Sanctuary after completing the Mislabelling the Problem side quest

Objective: Chat to Adidi

Speak with Adidi between 18:00 – 6:00 near the Nopon Tower. She will want you to get 5 pieces of Ekidno Jaw Gristle from Ekidno at Eryth Sea. Once you collect the items, speak with Puko between 9:00 – 18:00. You will then receive a new quest called Who is Bigger?, which will then have to be completed. Once you complete the other quest, this quest will complete as well.

Obtained: Speak with Lalapa between 6:00 – 18:00 on the Top Housing Level

Objective: Bash 3 Ashy Orlugas in the area of Nopon Arch in Makna Forest

The Juicy Laia Fish are dropped from Chloro Laias, which are located in Eryth Sea. The Benign Crickets and Soft Sea Cucumbers can be found on the ground in Makna Forest. Once the items have been obtained, return to Pipiki to complete the quest.

 

Hunt for a Patron

Obtained: Speak with Leku between 6:00 – 18:00 on the Archaeology Level after completing Leku’s Food Crisis side quest

Objective: Have a chinwag with the cleverest Nopon, strongest Nopon and cutest Nopon

The cleverest Nopon is Lupa in the Archaeology Centre. For the strongest Nopon, interact with Modamo on the Archaeology Level. The cutest Nopon is Pepa who is near the Chief’s Residence! After speaking with them, return to Leku to complete the quest.

 

Hunt for Bug-Loving Friend

Obtained: Speak with Kokora between 6:00 – 18:00 in Nopon Tower

Objective: Find a Nopon that likes bugs

The Nopon bug lover is Ababa who can be found on B1F. He will give you a new objective to grab 3 Shield Bugs in Makna Forest. These bugs can be found on the ground around Makna Forest. Once you collect them, return to Ababa then talk with Kokora to complete the quest.

 

Ingredients for a Brew

Obtained: Speak with Kofuko between 21:00 – 6:00 in the Central Plaza

Objective: Grab 4 Walnut Grapes on the Bionis’ Leg or 2 Bitter Kiwis in Makna Forest

The Walnut Grapes can be found on the ground on the Bionis’ Leg, and the Bitter Kiwis can be found on the ground in Makna Forest. Once the items have been gathered, return to Kofuko and speak with him to complete the quest.

 

Kind Lupa’s Grampypon

Obtained: Speak with Lupa between 18:00 – 6:00 in the Archaeology Centre

Objective: Grab materials for a Secret Nopon Elixir

After completing the Secret Elixir Ingredients side quest, head back to Lupa and speak with her then deliver the Secret Nopon Elixir to Satata who is located in Colony 6. Afterwards, return to Lupa and speak with her to complete the quest.

 

Legendary Nopon Charm

Objective: Grab 4 Vang Milk Teeth from Vangs in Satorl Marsh

Travel to the Sororal Statues landmark then head east to Basin Cave to find Storm Vangs. You can also find Satorl Vangs in Lacus Swamp. Defeat the Vangs to obtain the Vang Milk Teeth then return to Yusa to complete the quest.

 

Lousey Lizards

Obtained: Speak with Modamo between 18:00 – 6:00 on the Archaeology Level

Objective: Bash 5 Inferno Deinoses and 5 Plasma Deinoses in Makna Forest

Defeat the Inferno Deinoses (level 31) and Plasma Deinoses (level 30) then return to Modamo to complete the quest.

Meeting the Nopon Sage

Obtained: Speak with Pipiki between 6:00 – 18:00 in the Central Plaza after completing the Honouring the Nopon Sage side quest

Objective: Make the offering where you can see the rainbow of Great Makna Falls

The place to make the offering can be found north of the Divine Sanctuary and southwest of the Waypoint Beacon, which are both south of Bridge One. You can only make the offering during the day around 13:00 when the rainbow is out. Once you make the offering, speak with the Nopon Sage that appears then return to Pipiki.

 

Mislabelling the Problem

Obtained: Speak with Medi between 21:00 – 6:00 in Kyn Shopping Street after completing Healing the Healer side quest

Objective: Talk to Puko who supplies the medicine

Puko can be found from 9:00 – 18:00 in Kyn Shopping Street. Speak with him then defeat the Abominable Hiln in Showdown Cliff at Eryth Sea. Abominable Hiln is a level 34 enemy. Once it’s defeated, return to Puko then talk with Medi to complete the quest.

Mystery of Makna Ruins 2

Obtained: Speak with Lupa between 18:00 – 6:00 in the Archaeology Centre after completing the Mystery of Makna Ruins 1 side quest

Objective: Recite the prayer in front of King Agni’s Tomb

Travel to the King Agni’s Tomb landmark, which is south of the Valak Pass leading to Valak Mountain. Interact with the seal to open the doors leading to the tomb. Head into the tomb and defeat the level 46 unique enemy called Brutal Gravar then investigate the coffin. Afterwards, travel back to Lupa to complete the quest.

 

Mystery of Makna Ruins 3

Obtained: Speak with Lupa between 18:00 – 6:00 in the Archaeology Centre after completing the Mystery of Makna Ruins 2 side quest

Objective: Grab 3 lots of Aqueous Andos Oil and 3 lots of Algora Sap from Sap Cave in Makna Forest

The Aqueous Andos Oil is dropped from Flavel Andos, which can be found at Eryth Sea. The Algora Sap can be found in the Sap Cave, which is south of the Nopon Arch landmark. The items are being guarded by a level 31 Makna Brog. Defeat it then collect the items and return to Lupa to complete the quest.

Objective: Use the Lubricant Oil on the coffin

The Hades Beetle can be found on the ground throughout Makna Forest, and you can find the Jungle Quadwings west of the Agni Tablet near the lakeside. To find the Poison Brogs, you will need to travel to Satorl Marsh and head for the Poison Swamp slightly northeast of the Crown Tree or the Dark Swamp south of the Silent Obelisk. Once you collect all of the ingredients, the quest will complete.

 

Secret Innovation

Obtained: Speak with Rasha between 6:00 – 18:00 in Central Plaza

Objective: Collect Filtered Water from near Sparkling Pool in Makna Forest (from dawn to dusk)

The Filtered Water can be found in the Sparkling Pool in Makna Forest. After you collect the item, speak with Cherri in the Pollen Orb Storehouse then return to Rasha to complete the quest.

 

Strange Noises from Below

Obtained: Speak with Pipiki between 6:00 – 18:00 in the Central Plaza

Objective: Seek out what is behind the strange voice

Head to the Underground Store on B1F to find the Nopon Kitchen and speak with Tati between 18:00 – 6:00. You will then be tasked to grab 3 Hode Camouflages from Hodes in Makna Forest near Windmill Pavilion. Once the items have been collected, return to Tati then return to Pipiki.

The Bloody Brog Sweat is dropped from Makna Brogs in Makna Forest near Sap Cave. The Frozen Aries Meat is dropped from Hista Aries on Valak Mountain near Jakt Geyser. Obtained: Speak with the Nopon Researcher at the Pod Landing Site (after you progress far enough in story)

Objective: Collect 5 Hode Planks and 3 Rhogul Axe Crests

The Hode Planks are dropped from Hyle Hodes in Makna Forest. The Rhogul Axe Crests are dropped from Mist Rhoguls in Satorl Marsh. After you collect all the items, return to the Nopon Researcher to complete the quest.

 

Challenge

Obtained: Speak with a Nopon Merchant near the Agni Tablet

Objective: Defeat Shimmering Forte near the Eks Watering Hole in Makna Forest (on a hot day)

The Shimmering Forte is a level 33 unique enemy that can be found between the Eks Watering Hole and the Twisted Tree Gate landmark on a hot day.

 

Challenge of the Sage

Obtained: Speak with a Nopon Sage from 12:00 – 15:00 between Waypoint Beacon and Divine Sanctuary after completing the Legend of the Sage side quest

Objective: Go to the Seahorse Islet in Makna Forest and collect the Proof of Courage

Travel to Seahorse Islet (very northern part of the river) then jump in the water to retrieve the item. Return to the Nopon Sage to hand over the item.

 

Final Challenge of the Sage

Objective: Talk to Scarlen in Satorl Marsh, Kaleka in Frontier Village and Atael in Frontier Village

Speak with Scarlen in Satorl Marsh near Oath Sanctuary, which is south of the Sororal Statues. Talk with Kaleka and Atael in Frontier Village near the Nopon Tower. After you have talked to all 3, return to Rozeal and speak with her to complete the quest.

 

Imperial Ceremony Offerings

Obtained: Speak with Scarlen at the Oath Sanctuary

Objective: Collect Mist Radiant, Ocean Radiant, Imperial Radiant and Snow Radiant

The Mist Radiant is located in the Basin Cave in Satorl Marsh, and the Ocean Radiant is located on the Central Seal Island at Eryth Sea. The Snow Radiant can be found in the Sealed Tower at Valak Mountain. The Imperial Radiant is located in the Ceremony Hall in the High Entia Tomb. Once all the items have been collected, the quest will complete.

 

It’s All in the Mind

Obtained: Speak with Zazadan in Nopon Refuge after completing the Zazadan Still in Danger side quest

Objective: Collect some Nopon Potion in the area of Lacus Swamp in Satorl Marsh

The Nopon Potion can be found on a ledge overlooking Lacus Swamp. To reach this ledge, you will need to head through a tunnel south of the Nopon Merchant Camp. Once the medicine has been collected, return to Zazadan in Nopon Refuge.

 

Kacha’s Kidnapping

Obtained: Speak with Bokoko in the Nopon Merchant Camp

Objective: Save Kacha who is in Exile Fortress in Satorl Marsh

Travel to Exile Fortress and make your way to the central chamber to find Kacha. The location of a key that will get you into the back door of the fortress will also show up on the map. It doesn’t matter if you want to grab the key or not. Talk to Kacha in the chamber the return to Bokoko at the Nopon Merchant Camp to complete the quest.

 

Making Camp

Obtained: Speak with Bokoko in the Nopon Merchant Camp after completing the Kacha’s Kidnapping side quest

Objective: Collect 4 Glowing Upa Seeds from Upas, 3 Fancy Volff Hides from Volff, 4 Feather Leaves and 3 Wool Rocks in Satorl Marsh

The Glowing Upa Seeds are dropped from Acid Upas, which are located right outside of the Nopon Merchant Camp in Lacus Swamp. The Fancy Volff Hides are dropped from Satorl Volff, which are located in Lacus Swamp. The Feather Leaves can be found on the ground throughout Satorl Marsh. Objective: Defeat 5 Deluded Ignas on the high plateau of Dark Swamp in Satorl Marsh

The Deluded Ignas are located between the Dark Swamp and Exile Fortress. Defeat the enemies then dig out the key underneath the tree nearby that overlooks the Dark Swamp. Next, investigate the altar on the roof of the Exile Fortress. To reach the roof, interact with the Wall of Sin behind the throne. This will open up a new path that leads to the altar. Examine the altar then return to Kacha at Nopon Merchant Camp.

The Giants’ Treasure

Obtained: Speak with Kacha in Nopon Merchant Camp after completing The Giants’ Key side quest

Objective: Collect the Giants’ Mirror in the area of Daksha Shrine on Bionis’ Leg

Travel to Daksha Shrine, which is in the northern central part of the lower level on Bionis’ Leg. The item will be guarded by a level 32 unique enemy named Clifftop Bayern. Snag the item either by fighting the enemy or just snatching it while being sneaky. Afterwards, return to the altar on the roof of the Exile Fortress. Once the item has been placed, you will be attacked by level 32 Defiled Queens. Defeat them then return to Kacha.

 

The Imperial Ceremony

Obtained: Speak with Scarlen in Oath Sanctuary

Objective: Collect the Radiants from all around the world in order to perform the ceremony

Complete the Imperial Ceremony Offerings side quest then travel to Sororal Statues in Satorl Marsh and interact with the floor to trigger a fight with a level 86 unique enemy called Radiant Pterix. Defeat it to complete the quest.

 

Zazadan in Danger

Obtained: Speak with Zazadan in Nopon Refuge after completing the Preventing Starvation side quest

Objective: Defeat 8 Orge Bunnias in Satorl Marsh

The Orge Bunnias are located right outside of the Nopon Refuge. After you defeat all of the enemies, return to Zazadan and speak with him.

 

Zazadan Still in Danger

Obtained: Speak with Zazadan in Nopon Refuge after completing the Zazadan in Danger side quest

Objective: Defeat Sunlight Schvaik in the area of Barren Moor in Satorl Marsh (only at daytime)

The Sunlight Schvaik is a level 30 unique enemy that can only be found during the daytime in Barren Moor near the Silent Obelisk. Once you defeat this enemy, return to Zazadan.

Speak with Norara then collect 5 Mystic Dahlias from Alcamoth and return to Norara. Afterwards, speak with Werner to complete the quest.

 

A Delectable Delicacy

Obtained: Speak with Pokapoka between 6:00 – 18:00 in the Reconstruction HQ

Objective: Collect 3 Bunnia Hams from Ether Bunnia in Satorl Marsh

The Bunnia Hams are dropped from Ether Bunnia in Satorl Marsh. Once you collect them, return to Pokapoka to complete the quest.

Speak with Yura near the market. He will want you to collect 5 Hell Raspberries from Prison Island in order for him to be Minana’s tutor. After collecting the items, return to Yura then speak with Minana to complete the quest.

 

A Poet’s Concerns

Obtained: Speak with Yura between 6:00 – 18:00 after completing the Lifespan of a Machina side quest

Objective: Talk to Neonik

Speak with Neonik who is not easily persuaded. Afterwards, you will need to collect a Tobogan Wing, which can be found on the ground under Hovering Reef 9 at Eryth Sea to see if that will persuade her. Once the item has been collected, return to Neonik to hand it over then speak with Yura to complete the quest.

 

A Selfish Girl’s Mistake

Obtained: Speak with Anna between 9:00 – 18:00 in the Reconstruction HQ of Colony 6

Objective: Find Nikita and Kiroki

Speak with Kiroki at the Ether Mine in the Drainage Control Room. Nikita can be found at the end of the Splintered Path. From the elevator, keep following the Splintered Path until you find her hiding behind a rock next to a level 34 Lazy Hox. Defeat the enemy then speak with Nikita. Afterwards, return to Anna in the Reconstruction HQ.

 

A Tantalising Treat

Obtained: Speak with Pokapoka between 6:00 – 18:00 in the Reconstruction HQ after completing A Delectable Delicacy side quest

Travel to Sky Stage in the northern part of the Bionis’ Leg to find the Sky Frying Pan. Once the pan has been collected, return to Talonyth to hand it over. He will then need you to collect Nature’s Stove from the northwestern part of Eks Watering Hole in Makna Forest. Afterwards, return to Talonyth to hand it over and complete the quest.

Objective: Speak to Hoko

Speak with Hoko in the Reconstruction HQ between 6:00 – 18:00. He will need you to collect 2 Soya Paste Shells from Entma Kings on Valak Mountain. When you collect the items, return to Hoko and select an option. Picking the first option rewards you with more rep while the second option rewards a unique level II gem. Once you select an option, return to Ma’crish and speak with her to complete the quest.

 

Cursed Berryjammy

Obtained: Speak with Norara between 6:00 – 18:00 near the Reconstruction HQ

Objective: Speak with Mefimefi

Speak with Mefimefi, who is on the balcony of the HQ. The Nopon will want you to collect the Statue Fragment from the Sororal Statues in Satorl Marsh. The Statue Fragment is located on the leftmost statue on the hips. Once you collect the item, return to Mefimefi then speak with Norara to complete the quest.

Objective: Take the delivery to a person whose name ends in ‘n’.

This delivery belongs to Gorman, who can be found near the Reconstruction HQ landmark. Once you make the delivery, return to Shilx who will want you to make another delivery. This second delivery is for Berryjammy! Once you hand over the delivery, return to Shilx to complete the quest.

Objective: Collect the Swan Pendant from the High Entia Tomb

The Swan Pendant is located in High Entia Tomb on B1F in the northern part of the area. Collect the item then return to Yura. **NOTE: This case and The Melody of Happiness side quest are linked. You will only be able to choose one or the other to talk to!** We chose to side with Nic! If you choose Yura, you will give Rosemary the Swan Pendant then speak with Yura again to complete the quest.

Objective: Have a chat with Don Argentis

Speak with Don Argentis between 6:00 – 18:00. Keep chatting with him until you exhaust all the dialog then return to Zel Argentis to complete the quest.

 

Finding the Unfindable

Obtained: Speak with Shilx between 3:00 – 21:00 after completing the Delivering the Undeliverable side quest

Objective: Collect 2 Energy Aubergines

The Energy Aubergines can be found on the ground in Mechonis Field. Once you collect them all, return to Shilx to complete the quest.

Objective: Collect the Divine Rock from the top of Spiral Valley on the Bionis’ Leg

After completing the Making a New Path side quest, the path at the bottom of the Spiral Valley will be open. Climb up the newly opened path to avoid the high level enemy and collect the Divine Rock at the top. Once you collect the rock, return to Gorman in the Reconstruction HQ.

 

In Pursuit of Love

Obtained: Speak with Rosemary between 18:00 – 6:00 near the Main Entrance

Objective: Find a timid Homs man, rough-and-ready Homs man, composed High Entia and Nopon food connoisseur

Speak with Yura (High Entia) near the park during the day. Pokapoka (Nopon) can be found near the Reconstruction HQ landmark next to a food stall. Peppino (rough-and-ready Homs) can be found at night near the Main Entrance. Nic (timid Homs) can be found in the southeastern part of the Reconstruction HQ at night. Once you talk to all the men, return to Rosemary to complete the quest.

 

Lifespan of a Machina

Obtained: Speak with Neonik between 6:00 – 18:00 after recruiting her to Colony 6

Objective: Find something to revitalise Neonik

For this quest, you have two choices: Pterix Energy Egg x2 or Machina Energy x1. If you choose to collect the eggs, Neonik will outlive everyone in Colony 6 and be all alone. With the Machina Energy, you’ll give her at least 20 more years to live a happy life. We chose to get the Machina Energy, which can be found in Colony 9 at the Mechon Wreckage Site. When you return to Neonik with the Machina Energy, she comments on how this is exactly what she wanted.

 

Looking for Freedom

Obtained: Speak with Nopo’rikh in the pasture at Reconstruction HQ after completing the Missing Lodger side quest

Objective: Collect Smelly Perfume from the Poison Swamp in Satorl Marsh

The Smelly Perfume can be collected in the heart of the Poison Swamp on an island surrounded by the poisonous water. Once the item has been collected, return to Nopo’rikh to complete the quest.

Objective: Collect 3 sticks of Dynamite from the Ether Mine

Objective: Carry Tyrea to Junks for medical treatment

When you exit Colony 6 towards the Watchpoint Junction landmark, you will automatically receive this quest. As you accept the quest, a cutscene will trigger. After the cutscene, travel to the Great Makna Falls in Makna Forest where you will be greeted by a level 80 unique enemy called Mysterious Telethia. Defeat the unique enemy to trigger a cutscene and complete the quest.

 

Missing Lodger

Obtained: Speak with Ma’crish in the Reconstruction HQ after recruiting her to Colony 6

Objective: Locate the missing Nopo’rikh

Nopo’rikh is located in a pasture behind some buildings north of Ma’crish. Speak with the Nopon then return to Ma’crish to complete the quest.

 

Nic’s Final Test

Obtained: Speak with Nopo’rikh after completing Nic’s Training

Objective: Defeat Indomitable Daulton near the Soter Ruins in Satorl Marsh

Travel to the Soter Ruins on the southeast side of the map to find the Indomitable Daulton, which is a level 85 unique enemy surrounded by 4 level 81-84 Baelfael Gogols. Defeat them all then return to Nopo’rikh. He will then have us fight 10 Grove Quadwings from Satorl Marsh, which come out at night. Once they are defeated, return to Nopo’rikh and speak with him to complete the quest.

 

Nic’s Training

Obtained: Speak with Nopo’rikh after recruiting Nic to Colony 6

Objective: Defeat Canyon Valencia near Raguel Bridge on the Bionis’ Leg (only during clear weather)

Travel to the Observation Platform landmark to encounter Canyon Valencia (only during clear weather), which is a level 78 unique enemy. Defeat it then return to Nopo’rikh who will then want you to defeat 10 Tempest Vangs on the Bionis’ Leg near the Windy Cave. When done, head back to Nopo’rikh and choose either option to complete the quest.

 

Nopon Determination

Obtained: Speak with Mefimefi between 18:00 – 6:00

Objective: Collect 5 Spicy Papayas, 2 Broom Icicles and 3 Igna Stone Pots

Travel to the Raguel Bridge and defeat the level 30 Black Smoke Hox on the bridge. As soon you are done, 6 White Smoke Hox will show up. Take care of them too then travel to the Refugee Camp and speak with Juju to move the survivors to Colony 6. This will complete the quest.

 

Unstoppable Berryjammy

Obtained: Speak with Berryjammy at night after completing the Obstinate Berryjammy side quest

Objective: Either discuss Berryjammy’s condition with Norara or give her some of Olga’s medicine

For this quest we chose to speak with Norara. If you talk to Olga she will just give you some medicine for Berryjammy. Norara wants to correct this addictive behavior. She will need you to grab 3 lots of Caterpile Vinegar from Satorl Caterpiles (level 25-26) in Satorl Marsh near the Glowing Obelisk landmark. After you collect all the items, return to Norara then return to Berryjammy to complete the quest.

The Sour Gooseberries can be found on the ground around Bionis’ Leg. Once you collect the items, return to Ewan and speak with him to hand them over. Next, give the paints to Matryona then speak with Ewan again.

 

A Thoughtful Idea (timed)

Objective: Speak to Ewan

Head to Tranquil Grotto on the southeastern side of the lower level of Bionis’ Leg. The Water Ether Deposit will be located in the back of the grotto. Examine the deposit then return to Earnest in the Refugee Camp.

 

Earnest’s Solitude

Obtained: Speak with Earnest in the Refugee Camp after completing Earnest’s Mischief side quest

Objective: Place the flowers on the grave

The grave is located on the northeastern side of the Bionis’ Leg upper level near the tunnel that leads to Believer’s Paradise.  To reach it, you can jump down onto the ledge below that contains the grave. When you place the flowers on the grave, a level 19 Arrogant Tirkin will attack. Defeat the enemy then return to Earnest.

 

Emergency Treatment (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Olga in the Refugee Camp between 6:00 – 18:00

Objective: Collect 5 lots of Glowing Wisp Fluid from Wisps on the Bionis’ Leg

The Lost Nopon

Obtained: Speak with Gerugu in Traveler’s Rest

Objective: Locate Batubatu near Raguel Lake on the Bionis’ Leg

Batubatu is located on the west side of Raguel Lake on a ledge overlooking the lake. To reach him, you will need to jump down to the ledge near the path leading to Daksha Shrine. After you speak with Batubatu, return to Gerugu in Traveler’s Rest.

 

Thieving Monsters (timed)

Obtained: Speak with Gorman in the Refugee Camp between 21:00 – 6:00

Objective: Collect the Clothes from the Tirkin Headquarters on the Bionis’ Leg

The Clothes can be found in Tirkin Headquarters, which is north of Rho Oasis. After the Clothes have been collected, return to Gorman and speak with him.

 

With Much Gratitude

Obtained: Speak with Batubatu after completing The Lost Nopon side quest

Objective: Collect a Tokilos’ Egg from near Zax Guidepost and a Pandora Mushroom from Windy Cave on the Bionis’ Leg

The Tokilos’ Egg is located on a ledge with level 79 Leg Tokilos. This ledge is located east of Zax Guidepost. You can reach the egg by sneaking behind the enemies. The Pandora Mushroom is located in the Windy Cave on the east side of the Bionis’ Leg lower level. It is guarded by a level 75 Mysterious Barnaby. It’s hard but you can sneak past this one, too. After you obtain the items, return to Batubatu to hand them over.

 

With Even More Gratitude

Obtained: Speak with Gerugu at Traveler’s Rest after completing the With Much Gratitude side quest

Objective: Locate Batubatu on a high place east of Zax Guidepost on the Bionis’ Leg

Batubatu is located northeast of Traveler’s Rest on a ledge overlooking Believer’s Paradise. Talk with Batubatu then head to the top of the large waterfall on the Bionis’ Leg and collect the Ether Wisdom. To reach the waterfall, keep following the trail left of Batubatu then head through a dark tunnel. Once you emerge from the tunnel, you will reach Believer’s Paradise where you can collect the Ether Wisdom. Return to Gerugu at Traveler’s Rest.

A Thank You

Obtained: Speak with a Defence Force Solider  near Warehouse 2 after reaching the Bionis’ Interior

Objective: Exit Tephra Cave and check the area immediately to the left

Head to Kneecap Hill at the end of Tephra Cave and interact with the dig spot near the exit to complete the quest.

 

Arachno Silk Fundraising

Obtained: Speak with Defence Force Soldier in Tephra Cave near the Escape Pod Bay

Objective: Collect 3 pieces of Arachno Silk from Worker Arachno in Tephra Cave

The Worker Arachno that drop the Arachno Silk can be found just past the Spring of Grief in the tunnel that leads to Vilia Lake.

 

Clearing Obstructions

Obtained: Speak with Defence Force Soldier in Tephra Cave near the Escape Pod Bay

Objective: Defeat 2 Devoted Arachno, 4 Resolute Arachno and 3 Zealous Arachno near Vilia Lake in Tephra Cave

The Devoted Arachno are located in the tunnel just past the Spring of Grief. The Resolute Arachno are located further down the tunnel. The Zealous Arachno are located at the very end of the tunnel near the entrance to Vilia Lake.

Obtained: Speak with Defence Force Soldier in Tephra Cave near the Escape Pod Bay

Objective: Collect 2 Kneecap Rocks in Tephra Cave

The Kneecap Rocks can be found on the ground in Tephra Cave.

 

Collection Quest 2

Obtained: Speak with Defence Force Soldier in Tephra Cave near the Escape Pod Bay

Objective: Collect 2 Bright Figs in Tephra Cave

The Bright Figs can be found on the ground in Tephra Cave.

 

Material Quest 1

Obtained: Speak with Defence Force Soldier in Tephra Cave near the Escape Pod Bay

Objective: Collect 3 Broken Pincers from Krabbles in Tephra Cave

The Broken Pincers are dropped by the Desert Krabbles in Tephra Cave near the Spring of Grief.

Obtained: Speak with Defence Force Soldier in Tephra Cave near the Escape Pod Bay

Objective: Collect 1 lot of Brog Smelling Salts from a Noble Brog in Tephra Cave

The Brog Smelling Salts are dropped by the Noble Brogs in Tephra Cave near the Spring of Grief.

Obtained: Speak with Defence Force Soldier in Tephra Cave near the Escape Pod Bay

Objective: Speak to the Defence Force soldier near the Cylinder Hangar

Travel to the Rear Entrance then exit Tephra Cave to find the Cylinder Hangar. Speak with the soldier to complete the quest.

Obtained: Speak with Shura at Bafalgar Tomb in Tephra Cave in Chapter 17

Objective: Find the Starlight Book near Vilia Lake in Tephra Cave

The item is located on the eastern ledge overlooking Vilia Lake. It is reachable by heading south from Bafalgar Tomb. Once the item has been collected, return to Shura to complete the quest.
