Dying Light 2 – Garlic and Sardines Challenge Side Quest

Below is a walkthrough on the Garlic and Sardines side quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. To obtain this quest, speak with the friendly couple at the Brewery settlement in Downtown.

 

Finish the challenge with at least Bronze Medal

Interact with the basket on the bench to begin the challenge. Make sure to get at least a Bronze Medal to complete the request.

Dying Light 2 – Sparker Love Interests – Man on a Mission Trophy

For the Man on a Mission trophy in Dying Light 2, you must meet all your Sparker love interests. Please note that these encounters are super buggy! After some time passes from completing The Matchmaker side quest, return to the Bakery Settlement.

The first love interest, as_sparker_2 should pop up on your map. If it doesn’t, just stop by the Bakery to check it yourself. Speak with the older woman at the Bakery Settlement.

After you start the Broadcast story quest, return to the Bakery Settlement. Look for as_sparker_3 (aka Vinnie) who is standing next to the Sparker board and speak with him.

After some time passed (about 10 minutes in real-time), the trophy automatically popped for us without doing anything else!

Sifu
Guides

Sifu – The Club Mission Collectibles and Shrines

Below are the collectibles that you can find during The Club mission in Sifu. Please note that this guide is a work in progress.

 

Run 1

Finding Sean

After you beat up the bouncer, enter the club and speak with the guy behind the counter and ask for Sean. The guy will say “Guys, we have a problem.” and 2 guards will come to assist. Defeat only the guards then speak with the guy cowering behind the counter to get the collectible.

 

Shrine

After defeating the girl that jumps down onto the dance floor, this shrine is located below the DJ.

 

Access Door

Facing the DJ, this door can be found on the right side of the room.

 

Code Door

Facing the DJ, this door can be found on the left side of the room.

 

Disciple’s Pass / Sean’s Disciple

This collectible is obtained automatically as part of the story after defeating the disciple.

 

Shrine

After obtaining the Disciple’s Pass, follow the path forward until you come to 2 doors. Enter the one on the left to enter a training room. The shrine will be on the left next to a woman stretching.

 

The Three Trials

Continue to the back of the room (without fighting anyone) and speak with the guy standing by the door. Select the option “Trials?”.

 

Sean’s Values

After defeating the lady with a stick as part of the trial, you’ll come to an alleyway with some burning wood at the end. Read the 3 groups of markings on the walls to receive this one.

 

Fire Chest

From the previous collectible, continue down the alleyway and go down the stairs at the end. A bar will be in front of you. Hop over the counter and interact with the fire chest to receive this collectible.

 

Shrine

This shrine can be found to the right side just before entering the boss’ room.

 

Run 2

Tech Guy

After restarting the level, head to the club part where the girl jumps down to the dance floor then head through the Access Door now that you have the Disciple’s Pass. You’ll end up in a room with a door and a set of stairs leading up on the left side. Take the stairs up and follow the path to the end. You’ll be fighting enemies with glow in the dark clothing. When you reach the tech room at the end, choose the option “Sean” when interacting with the tech guy to receive this collectible.

Sifu – The Squats Mission Collectibles and Shrines

Below are the collectibles that you can find during The Squats mission in Sifu. Please note that this guide is a work in progress.

 

Run 1

Fajar – The Botanist

This collectible can be found on the desk next to the bulletin board at the very start of the mission just after the prologue. You’ll have to pick this up as part of the story in order to start the mission.

 

Skull Letter

After beating up the first 2 guys at the beginning of the mission, you’ll head through a doorway to reach an apartment building. Head through another doorway on the left with purple spray paint on the wall. This will bring you to an area with glass doors in front of you and some stairs going up. Head through the glass doors to find another set of glass doors with the skull note stuck to them.

 

Avenue Door

Interact with the door containing the above collectible. (You’ll be able to open this door after you obtain the Bunch of Keys.)

 

Purple Mist

After you climb to the top level of the apartment building, you’ll have to jump through an open window to reach the adjacent balcony. In this room there will be 3 bunk beds and a kitchen on the left side. This collectible can be found on the counter next to the fridge in the kitchen.

 

Shrine

After fighting a group of enemies in an open outdoor area, you’ll head down a long overhang and will take a right. Enter through the doorway ahead to enter a laundry room. The shrine will be on the right side in the laundry room.

 

Bills

After jumping through the roof of an adjacent building, you’ll land in a pile of money and have to fight a large dude. Inspect the pile of money next to the couch in the back of the room.

 

Club Flyer 

This collectible can be found in a big room where a group of enemies are counting money and talking about not being late for the club. The flyer can be found on a table in a smaller room on the back left side of the big room.

 

Bunch of Keys

This collectible is obtained automatically as part of the story after defeating 2 guys in an office room. This will allow you to unlock the gate to proceed forward.

 

Shrine

In the same room as the above collectible, you can find a shrine on the counter.

 

Metal Gate

This collectible is obtained automatically as part of the story when you proceed forward through it using the Bunch of Keys.

 

Purple Flower

This collectible is located in the factory floor/processing area on one of the bamboo tables in the center of the room.

 

Shrine 

After heading through the drying room with plants hanging from the ceiling, you’ll exit through the door to reach an outdoor area. The shrine will be on your right side just before a set of stairs.

 

Keycard 206

From the previous shrine, continue down the alley to reach a door. Head on through and this collectible can be found on a table in the center of the room.

 

Private Room Door

This door can be found in the same room as the above collectible. It is located in the back of the room just before the boss.

 

Run 2

Shrine

Once you obtain the Bunch of Keys (above) you’ll be able to unlock the Avenue Door (above) which will allow you to create a shortcut. The shrine can be found on a platform near a group of 3 guys.

Dying Light 2 – Out of Your League Side Quest

Below is a walkthrough on The Pilot side quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. To obtain this quest, speak with Nerys at the Quarry End Water Tower.

 

Talk to Ruud

Head to the Bazaar in Trinity and speak with Rudd across from the bar near the stairs leading up.

 

Ask the guard at the gate

Exit the Bazaar and speak with the guard.

 

Go to Crocodile Flats

Make your way to the objective west of Cherry Windmill in Houndfield. Head into the hallway and interact with the box next to the door then the door itself.

 

Follow Scott’s trail

Use your senses to follow his footprints outside. Keep following his footprints and inspecting the items along the way.

 

Find a way inside the building where Scott’s trail ends

To enter the building, parkour your way up to an open window on an upper floor.

 

Kill the hired thugs

Kill both guys in the next room.

 

Talk to Scott 

Interact with Scott and tell him you’ll get the necklace for him.

 

Find the necklace for Scott in Crocodile Flats

Return to Crocodile Flats and lockpick the door. Kill the enemies inside then take the airduct in the bathroom or kitchen to reach an elevator shaft. Make your way up the walls of the elevator shaft to reach the next floor. Break the boards on the doorway to continue pressing forward. Keep working your way through this floor. To reach the next level, open the elevator doors then jump up. The necklace can be found on the dead lady in the room behind the breakable boards on the door. The combination to the safe in the previous room can be found using the picture next to the dead lady. It’s 11-11-19, which is the birthday of the 2 year old. Open the safe to receive 700 Old World Money.

 

Bring the necklace back to Scott

Speak with Scott at the Bazaar. Make your decision as it really doesn’t matter what you choose. The rewards will just be slightly different. No matter what, you’ll still receive the below rewards.

Below is a walkthrough on The Matchmaker side quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. To obtain this quest, speak with Raheem at the Bakery settlement on the eastern side of Trinity.

 

Check the map for possible card locations

Inspect the map to the left of him.

 

Find the fake Sparker cards

One card can be found at Jack and Joe’s Camp in the northern part of Horseshoe.

It is located on a table in a rundown kitchen.

The other card can be found at a Dark Hollow on the western side of Horseshoe.

It is located on a dresser.

 

Bring the fake Sparker cards to Raheem

Return to Raheem to hand over the cards and complete the quest.
