Horizon Forbidden West – Relic Ruins: Restless Weald

by Chappie in

Below is a walkthrough for the Level 15 Restless Weald Relic Ruins. To obtain this quest, speak with a lady near the Campfire in Plainsong.

Explore the Ruins

On the northeastern side of the search area, there is a building that has a Datapoint called Pack your Holobags! When you’re ready, head into the red brick building near the center of the search area. Make your way to the southwestern portion to located a locked room on the second floor. Approach it for Aloy to comment that a key module is required. While you’re there, inspect the Construction Year Datapoint on the table near the terminal. There is also a second Datapoint called Thanks Again under the locked room. Next, head to the northern part of the building to find a set of railcar tracks. Locate the railcar on the track and use your Pullcaster to pull it back away from the building. You’ll then want to use the nearby switch to change the track to be the straight tracks. Next, pull the railcar southwest as far back next to the building as you can. Jump up on the railcar and use it to reach an upper ledge. Afterwards, jump onto the long yellow rope and follow it to the other side. Here you’ll find the key module on the broken section of the building. Return to the locked door and use the key module to open it. The code is 1923, which is the year the station was built. This year can be found in huge letters on the front of the building. Open the door then jump on the zipline to reach another sealed off section of the building. Ignite the Fire Gleam then go back and get the railcar. Move it to the curved tracks then pull it into the building via the hole in the wall you just made. Once it’s inside, use the railcar to reach the upper level where the ornament awaits.
