Objective: Customize some furniture for your room
Reward(s): Storage Box x1
After accepting this task, Ryker shows up and gives you a Storage Box along with explaining how to place items in your room. You can now move it around where ever you please (picking it up and setting it back down also counts). Once you’re done, return to the Task Board to receive some final words from Ryker, completing the task.

Below is a guide on the Try Fishing task in Rune Factory 5.
Client: Lucy
Objective: Catch some fish
Reward: 300G
After accepting the task, Lucy will show up and gift you with a fishing rod. You’ll then be tasked with catching a fish. Fish in the river flowing through the town. After you catch a fish (shrimp count!), return to the Task Board to complete the task.

Objective: Speak with her outside of the restaurant

Travel to the restaurant directly northeast of the Great Tree Plaza to trigger a lengthy dialog event. When it concludes, return to Livia for another dialog event leading to the completion of the task.

New licenses become available in Rune Factory 5 after completing the First Directive task very early in the game. You’ll then need to speak with Eliza in the Silo and choose the I’d like to make a Directive option. From there choose Licenses and you’ll be able to see which Licenses are available to you. It will then cost SEED Points for you to take the certification required to receive the License. Once you have a license in hand, take it to Studio Palmo where you’ll be able to purchase the piece of furniture you need to begin making things! To start with, you’ll have access to the Forging License and Crafting License with each costing 200 SEED Points.

Below is a guide on the Gather Material Stone task in Rune Factory 5.
Client: Darroch
Objective: Collect material stones
Rewards: Rock x4
After accepting the quest, Darroch will show up and give you a hammer. He’ll then ask that you collect some material stones. Head to the farm and smash the rocks in the field. Collect the material stones and place them in the stone and lumber container. Afterwards, return to the Task Board to complete the quest.

Objective: Speak with Eliza inside the Silo
Reward(s): Turnip Seeds x4
After accepting the request enter the Silo and speak with Eliza (the doll thing standing on the counter). You’ll be introduced to the directive system where you’ll then be able to upgrade your bag space for 50G. Afterwards, Eliza will gift you 1000 seed points to spend on a Festival Directive. Choose one of the options to hold a contest during one of the upcoming days. You can now finish talking with Eliza then return to the Task Board to receive your reward.

You can unlock the option to take the Chemistry License Certification by speaking with Simone in her clinic after completing the First Directive task. The first time you speak with her, she’ll casually mention the Chemistry License before allowing you to buy anything. If you then head to the Silo and speak with Eliza, you’ll be able to make a Directive to take the Chemistry License Certification for 100p. To pass the certification, you’ll be asked a couple of questions that you’ll need to answer correctly. Those questions and answers can be found below. After that, you’ll then be able to purchase a Chemistry Set from Studio Palmo for 30 Material Stones, 30 Lumber and 1000G.
