Obtained: Speak with the Lonely Old Man in the settlement during Chapter 5
Objective: Find the Aged Books
Head south through the alleyways, defeating enemies and opening chests in an effort to locate the books. At the very end of the path, you’ll come to a red chest guarded by a dragon. Defeat it and its lackeys to find the books. You’ll be teleported back to the village where you will speak with the Lonely Old Man. Once you do so, the quest will clear!

Obtained: Interact with the white orb (notebook titled “Impure Souls Vol 1”) in the library at Valhalla after completing Chapter 5
Objective: Purify the Undead
Follow the linear path, fighting the enemies as you go. You’ll need to use the Soul Chain to jump across a gap. Once you do, continue following the path through the buildings until you reach the portal. Interact with the portal where you’ll be transported to an area with waves of enemies. Defeat all the enemies to clear the quest.

Below is a guide on where to find the hollow and verdant blossoms around the Lucardan Territory in Valkyrie Elysium. For the purpose of this guide, all of the blossoms were obtained during the Chapter 5: Those Offered the Hand of Salvation main quest.
Distant Young Girl
At the start of the chapter, head forward a short way hugging the left side of the path. This blossom will be on a higher ledge overlooking the bridge to the city.
Black Fortress Fitz
This blossom can be found along the path east of the first Storage Camp.
Fickle Widow
From the previous blossom, head up the nearby stairs then take a left to find this blossom under an overhang.
Veteran Fitz
This blossom can be found on the second level of a building just before the lever that opens up the path to the second Storage Camp.
Servant Einar
From the second Storage Camp (Outer Wall), drop down to the area to the right of the Storage Camp then look under the structure to find the blossom.
Royal Professor Victor
From the Second Storage Camp, follow the linear path north to reach a wall with some stairs heading up. Instead of taking the stairs up, follow the alley to the end to find the blossom.
Tireless Lookout
From the third Storage Camp, head north through the big wooden doors then take a right heading under the gate. Head up the stairs and the blossom will be behind the tree across the dry pool.
Girl Who Believed in the Future
To the right of the fourth Storage Camp (Main Gate), use Eygon to break the barrier then head inside and go under the overhang to find the blossom.
Freckled Girl
This can be found on the east side of the throne room just north of the fourth Storage Camp (Main Gate).
Jubilant Johann
This can be found in the courtyard to the west of the throne room near a Soul Tree.
Thoughtful God of Fire
This blossom can be found by the fifth Storage Camp (Rear Entrance). Above the northern gate, use the Soul Chain to reach it.
Tense Boy
This blossom can be found just before the sixth Storage Camp (Cathedral).
Starlight Historian
This blossom can be found in the cathedral just past the sixth Storage Camp.
Deceived Lord
After exiting the cathedral, take a left and head up the stairs to find the blossom at the top.
Carefree Goods Bearer
This blossom can be found just past Armand but before the entrance to the cave.
Glib Fifth-Class God
This blossom can be found north of Armand in the cave.
Soul-Manipulating Goddess
This blossom can be found just before the The Northern Marches Settlement on the eastern side of the area.
Barbarous Fourth-Class God
This blossom can be found at the top of a set of stairs in the center of the settlement.
Loyal Old Man
This blossom can be found on the snowy path leading to the far eastern part of the settlement.
Handmaid of the Gods
This blossom can be found on the far eastern side of the settlement.
Father of Three
This blossom can be found near the exit on the far southeastern side of the settlement.
Lover-Turned-Boar
From the above blossom, exit the settlement to find this blossom on a hillside. You’ll need to use a Soul Chain to reach it.
Verdant Blossom
From the above blossom, continue heading south. Use Kristoffer to break the barrier then grab the blossom.

Below is a walkthrough for the locations of the relics in Chapter 5 of Valkyrie Elysium.
Find the Bloodstained Arrow
At the start of the chapter, head a short ways forward and cross the bridge. This relic will be on the bridge just before the gate leading to the town.
Find the Royal Armor
This relic can be found in the garrison, which is just past the second Storage Camp (Outer Wall). You’ll need to defeat the enemies in the area to obtain the key to unlock the door.
Find the White Dress
This relic can be found in the throne room just north of the fourth Storage Camp (Main Gate). Before reaching the relic, you’ll need to defeat the enemies in this room, including a dragon.
Find the Polypianus Flower
This relic can be found in the cathedral, which is just past the sixth Storage Camp.

Exit the palace and work your way to the southern part of town, fighting the enemies along the way. When you reach the southern gate, exit the town and follow along the bridge. This will bring you to closed off section of land in the southern part of the area. Fight a few enemies including a dragon here. After you defeat the enemies, the quest will clear.

This blossom is located near the drawbridge south of the fourth Storage Camp.
Brave General
This blossom is found after the fourth Storage Camp near the bridge leading to the fifth Storage Camp.
Backroad Sage
This blossom can be found next to the fifth Storage Camp.
New Recruit Fitz
This blossom can be found in the area between the fifth and sixth Storage Camp.
Stubborn Fortune Teller
This blossom is located east of the sixth Storage Camp.
Solitary Jailer
This blossom can be found directly south of the sixth Storage Camp.
Large Man with Wounded Cheek
This blossom is tricky to reach and can be found on an interior platform with a chest across from a grand staircase in the palace during An Old Man’s Discerning Eye subquest. To reach it, equip the Baleygr spear. Stand on either side of the stairs (about 5 steps up from the bottom) then double jump towards the platform with the chest. At the tallest point of the second jump, hit the regular attack button followed by the heavy attack button. With the spear, this will cause you to lunge up onto the platform. It took us multiple tries before we finally made it but it is possible!
Unkept Bearded God
At the start of the chapter, head directly west up flight of stairs to find it on a balcony.
Frigid Wind Storyteller
From the first Storage Camp, head right to find it along the railing overlooking the water.
Servant Einar
This blossom can be found in the stadium near the first Storage Camp.
Dusty Broker
This blossom can be found near the above blossom in the stands.
Theologian Fredrick
This blossom can be found southeast of the second Storage Camp.
Old Lodgings Landlady
This blossom can be found on the outside of the amphitheater east of the second Storage Camp.
Verdant Blossom
This blossom can be found directly east of the second Storage Camp.
High-Spirited Girl
This blossom can be found on a second level of the building directly south of the second Storage Camp.
Troubled Clergyman
This blossom can be found on a higher wooden platform north of the second Storage Camp. You’ll need to use a Soul Chain to reach it.
Big-Town Haberdashery
This blossom is located under the stairs next to the third Storage Camp just after the Hilde boss fight.
Girl Who Believed in the Future
From the fourth Storage Camp, head down the stairs and enter the building at the end. Ride the elevator down. Exit the elevator and turn right. Head down the stairs and keep following the room, ignoring the exit to the right, to find the blossom.
Mountain Pass Asbjorn
From the previous blossom, exit the building and take a right. Head down the stairs on the left. At the bottom of the stairs, take a left and the blossom will be on the right between some debris.
The Red Scale’s Head Accountant
From the doors of the banquet hall, head south to exit this building then take a right. Head west to find another doorway. The blossom will be in this room behind a wooden table.
A Certain High-Level God
When facing the door of the banquet hall, head up the left set of stairs then follow the hallway left to find it at the end.
Verdant Blossom
When you enter the banquet hall, take a right and head down a small flight of stairs then a bigger flight of stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, follow the room to the right, keeping along the wall. This will bring you to another set of stairs on the west side of the room. Head up the stairs to find the item.
Dark Slate Faerie
This blossom can be found on the lower level of the banquet hall.
Crowned Battle Maiden
This blossom can be found after taking the elevator in the banquet hall down to the Underground Shrine of the palace.
