Octopath Traveler II – Partitio Chapter 4

Partitio is on a quest to bring prosperity and happiness to all those suffering from poverty. During Partitio’s Chapter 4 in Octopath Traveler II, he travels to Roque Island to hear the important announcement regarding the steam engine and to convince Roque to honor their agreement to purchase this revolutionary invention. Please note that the recommended level for this main story is 45.

Roque Island

When you gain control, head north to reach Roque Island: Headquarters. A cutscene will trigger then you’ll be able to follow Ori south to the main part of town. Once there, enter the tavern to find Ori who will show you a hidden passageway. Go on and head inside then follow the walkway north into Roque Island: HQ. Continue following the path inside the building to reach The Roque Company: West Tower.

Ori will save the day and Roque will start making his big announcement. When you gain control, explore the area to find the below!

After finally making it through The Roque Company, you’ll arrive just in time to hear Mr. Roque make his big announcement. His day of course will be ruined! When able, use Partitio’s Purchase Path Action on Roque to purchase the Contract for 80 billion leaves. When Roque runs off, follow him west. As you approach the door, you’ll discover that it’s locked. This chapter is not over yet! Boss fight here we come!!

Boss Fight

During this fight, the boss can heal itself and restore its destroyed parts. When you break / defeat the parts, the Steam Tank’s shield will drop. Be wary of the cannon as it can one shot a party member! The train can also remove a party member from play and has a move that blinds the party. When the boss reaches half health, there will be some quick dialog before the fight resumes.

Octopath Traveler II – Osvald Chapter 4

During Osvald’s Chapter 4 in Octopath Traveler II, Osvald finds his way to Montwise to search through the city’s impressive library well aware that he might be walking into Harvey’s trap. Please note that the recommended level for this main story is 36.

After the flashback, head north and enter the Montwise: Library. In the library, use Osvald’s Scrutinize Path Action on the following people:

  • Scholar just south of the classroom
  • Scholar on the western side of the middle floor
  • Scholar on the eastern side of the middle floor

With all the information collected, head down to the northwestern corner of the lower floor where Osvald will find the secret passageway!

Octopath Traveler II – Agnea Chapter 4

Agnea is on a quest to become a star and bring people happiness. During Agnea’s Chapter 4 in Octopath Traveler II, Agnea will travel to Sai in search of more information on her mother. Please note that the recommended level for this main story is 34.

Sai

Per the old woman’s instructions, Agnea will check the eastern side of Sai where she’ll find a statue and meet a mischievous child. After the scene, head to the building west of the Provisioner. Chase after Laila who will return to the statue.

Afterwards, travel west into Sai. Use Agnea’s Entreat Path Action on the Elderly Man in front of the Armorer to acquire the Cute Shoes. Once you have the shoes, return to Laila in front of the statue and hand them over. You’ll learn some new information about your mother then a commotion will start.

Approach the large group in front of the Provisioner where Dolcinaea’s true colors will shine through. Afterwards, head east to Dragonridge.

In this area, you can find the below as you make your way to Dolcinaea who is located high on the hill just northwest of the savepoint.

Boss Fight

After encountering Dolcinaea, you’ll face off against her bodyguard, Veronica. She’ll use a skill where she gives herself additional shields. In addition, she can buff herself and uses an AOE wind attack.

Boss Fight

You’ll find Trousseau by the purple fire just past the savepoint. For this fight, the rain will continually poison you. The boss also has a move that inflicts random status ailments. Halfway through the fight, there will be a short cutscene where Castti is unable to sway his convictions. Thus time for Round 2!! He’ll get a crazy boost to this shield, and his vulnerabilities change.

After the battle, test the Medicinal Concoction on yourself by boosting then selecting all 5 ingredients. With everyone cured, you’ll finally be able to rest. When prompted, sooth Malaya with the Skybalm that you’ll already have on hand. After saying good night, you’ll awaken to a lively town. Once the short interview concludes, so will the chapter.

Fire Emblem Engage – Fell Xenolouge DLC

To start the Fell Xenologue DLC in Fire Emblem Engage, you’ll need to first reach Chapter 7 in the main game.

Fell Xenologue 1: Dragons from Afar

To start the Fell Xenologue 1: Dragons from Afar DLC, speak with the Durthon in the armory then head over to the Ancient Well on the northeast side of the Somniel and interact with it. You’ll then receive two weapons that you’ll need to bring back to Durthon. When that’s done, return to the well to trigger an event with Vander. You will then be able to interact with the well and choose to start the Fell Xenologue. After a lengthy intro cutscene, Alear with be thrown into battle with the twins to stop the mysterious assailant. They will be accompanied by a large number of Corrupted Wolves and a single archer. To assist you in battle, you’ll be allowed to pick two of your units from the main game, but as the game informs you, their levels and equipment will be set automatically. Watch out for the bite of the wolves, they can curse anyone that comes in contact with them. You can cure this new ailment by using a restore staff on the afflicted. Defeat the mysterious enemy to win the battle.

Fell Xenolouge 2: Seeds of Unrest

Location: Verdant Garden

Travel to the Verdant Garden to kick off Chapter 2 of the Fell Xenologue. For our first stop to collect all of the bracelets, Alear arrives in Firene and is greeted by an old friend. Together, the group makes their way to the castle where Alfred and Celine are being a little aggressive. This of course leads to a battle against them where you’ll be able to bring four of your normal units along with the twins and our old friend. To win, you’ll need to take down Alfred and Celine. The enemies will have a mix of units between you and the objective. A good amount of those are armored, so a mage could help out. Alfred will also be paired with Hector.

Fell Xenolouge 3: Path to War

Location: Royal Road

Continue on to the Royal Road to begin Fell Xenologue 3 which takes place in Brodia where you’ll meet another of the Zelestia’s comrades. Shortly after their reunion, you’ll be forced to battle a very different Diamant and Alcryst. Accompanying them will be an assortment of troops, so feel free to bring whoever you fancy. Diamant will also be paired with Emblem Veronica and will use her to summon other heroes such as Marth to the battle. Another thing to watch out for is the Mage Cannoneers which can hit you with artillery shells from a long distance. Once you take down Diamant and Alcryst, victory is yours!

Fell Xenologue 4: Clash of Queens

Location: Frigid Forest

Proceed to Elusia to start Fell Xenolouge 4. Be warned that traveling here will kick off a series of battles so it will be a while before you can return to the Somniel. During the initial cutscene, you’ll meet Madeline of the Four Winds. By the time it’s done, you’ll be thrown into a battle between Ivy/Soren and Timerra/Camilla with the objective of defeating both of them to claim their rings. Ivy can be found on the west side of the map (requires a flying unit to reach) while Timerra is on the east and their forces occupy the space between. After a number of turns progress, the two will start moving around the map. Additional enemies will also spawn as the fight rages on. Once you’ve beaten them both you’ll be treated to a lovely cutscene.

Fell Xenologue 5: The Fell Heir

Location: ???

With our mysterious enemy now known, you’ll have to face down a horde of Corrupted to reach them. You’ll also get to bring 10 of your units to fight alongside you. At the beginning of the fight, Alear will be imprisoned but can still be attacked, so make sure to bring a healer to him/her quickly to prevent losing. Nel will also be off by herself facing the big bad person who happens to have 3 health bars and beefy defense. Among the enemy forces, you’ll have one of the Corrupted Generals who will be partnered with Veronica and continually summons reinforcements using her Emblem Skill while the other one is partnered up with Hector. To free Alear, you’ll need to work your forces around the map heading counterclockwise to reach Nel. Defeat the enemy leader to bring an end to the battle.

Fell Xenologue 6: Seven Bracelets

Location: Fallen Somniel

Pursue the mysterious enemy to the Fallen Somniel to kick off Fell Xenologue 6. After a lengthy cutscene, you’ll be thrown into the final battle against the Fell Dragon. All of the Corrupted enemies that you’ve faced will be present and accompanied by bracelets. In order to win the battle, you’ll need to defeat the Fell Dragon. At the beginning of the fight, start by immediately moving your units west. After a few turns pass, the Fell Dragon will one shot everyone that’s remaining in the area. This potentially can lead to a game over if Alear is still positioned there.

Octopath Traveler II – Ochette Chapter 3

Ochette is on a quest to protect her home from the Night of the Scarlet Moon. During Ochette’s Chapter 3 in Octopath Traveler II, she’ll return home with the Creatures of Legend. Please note that the recommended level for this main story is 45.

Beasting Village

After providing a feast for your fellow Beastlings, seek out Juvah where he normally waits in the far northwestern side of town. You’ll show him the Creatures of Legend and will then need to follow him down the path just southeast of the inn.

Path to the Tombs of the Wardenbeasts

Once in the Path to the Tombs of the Wardenbeasts, head south. When the path forks, take the western path to reach the Summit of Strife.

Summit of Strife

In this area, head west to trigger a cutscene during which you’ll catch up to Juvah. The Night of the Scarlet Moon will then begin! For this fight, you’ll fight off waves of enemies!

After fighting off the waves, you’ll get a little reprieve where you can save and rest up. Once you’re ready, head west into the Verdant Wood.

Once in the Verdant Wood, you’ll be greeted by some strong foes, however, Tera steps in and wipes them out for us. When you’re able, head west. Just after the savepoint, you can find a chest containing an Energizing Pomegranate (L). Climb the stairs to reach the Stormy Cape.

Once in the Stormy Cape, Glacis will appear and offer her assistance. You can take her shortcut or explore the area to find the below chests first.

When you’re ready to move on, head to the southwestern corner to find a map transition to the Moonview Cliff.

Once at the Moonview Cliff, head west to encounter an old acquaintance. For us, we had to fight Lajackal of the Sorrowful Moon. During the fight, it does an attack where it leaves a party member with 1 HP, changes its vulnerabilities and increases its shield.

Octopath Traveler II – Agnea Chapter 3

Agnea is on a quest to become a star and bring people happiness. During Agnea’s Chapter 3 in Octopath Traveler II, Agnea will travel to Tropu’hopu in search of the words to the “Song of Hope”. Please note that the recommended level for this main story is 20.

Tropu’hopu

To help get the wagon unstuck, you’ll need to find a sturdy stick. Head north past the savepoint to the person with a green conversation bubble above their head. Make sure it’s night then use Entreat to collect the Wooden Sword. Return to Giselle and hand over the Wooden Sword.

Afterwards, travel north to reach the Tropu’hopu: Floating Theater. You’ll run into the traveling troupe who’s in another pickle. Giselle can be found on an island west of Tropu’hopu. To reach it, hop in your boat at the dock just south of the Provisioner then sail to the island. As you approach Giselle, a cutscene will trigger. You’ll then need to make sure it’s day and use Agnea’s Allure Path Action on her. With her in tow, bring her to her troupe in the northeastern part of the Floating Theater near the stage.

After watching their performance and doing a quick one of your own, you’ll learn more about your mom and will pick a verse for your song. Afterwards, the chapter will end.

Octopath Traveler II – Hikari’s Chapter 3

Hikari is on a quest to take back his home. During Hikari’s Chapter 3 in Octopath Traveler II, he’ll travel to Wellgrove to stop a shipment of weapons from reaching Ku. Please note that the recommended level for this main story is 26.

After the flashback, you’ll begin searching for Azuma, the merchant. He can be found in the tavern at night. Use Hikari’s Bribe Path Action on him (requires 1000 leaves) to glean the Weapons Deal Details. Next, make for the Secret Forest which is west of town.

Secret Forest

Make your way through this area. As you head west past the savepoint, you’ll stumble across the deal being made. This will of course lead to a fight where you’ll fight 3 Ku Soldiers. They are vulnerable to Spear, Axe, Ice and Light. Take them out then challenge General Rou. He’s vulnerable to Spear and Bow. After you defeat him, you’ll battle with your shadow again and save the weapon shipment. Afterwards, the chapter will conclude.

Octopath Traveler II | Castti’s Chapter 3

Castti is on a quest to remember who she is. During Castti’s Chapter 3 in Octopath Traveler II, she’ll follow Malaya’s hints to Healeaks (aka Abandoned Village). Please note that the recommended level for this main story is 31.

Abandoned Village

Once in the Abandoned Village, you’ll discover that something bad happened there. Head just northeast of the savepoint to find Malaya. Use Castti’s Inquire Path Action on Malaya to trigger a memory. You’ll then need to Inquire the following apothecaries around the town:

  • Elma – Near the stable
  • Randy – North of Elma
  • Trousseau – East of the stable
  • Andy – In the house northwest of Trousseau

After speaking with everyone, Temm will run up asking for someone to help the fainting Sally. The only medicine to cure her can be found atop the mountain so Trousseau and Castti will make their way there. With Sally saved, use Inquire on Malaya east of the tavern to hear more of the tale. You’ll then need to head east to the Path to Mount Liphia.

Follow the path through this area. As you approach the savepoint, you’ll trigger a memory. Head east past the savepoint to enter Mount Liphia.
