Interact with the Mutated Hearts journal on the bulletin board to receive the Body Art: Dread side quest in Dead Island 2. This time you’ll need to collect 3 Mutated Hearts. Dead Island 2 – Missing: Steve
by in To begin the Missing: Steve lost and found quest in Dead Island 2, interact with the poster on the missing board at the Serling Hotel on Ocean Avenue. We found this after beating the game (might be found sooner). For this quest, travel to Set 3 in Monarch Studios. Once there, loot Steve’s To-Do List journal from the bed.
In the kitchen set, inspect the following:
- Soap and Toothbrush on the counter next to the sink
- Water Bottles on the counter near the fridge
- Box of Food on the floor by the fridge
- Answering Machine on the stairs
Once you’ve inspected everything, head to Jimmy’s trailer south of Set 7 on Action Alley. Clear out the zombies outside then kill Sergio inside. Loot his phone afterwards then follow Steve to his apartment in Beverly Hills.
Holy cow! He’s ALIVE!! Yes, I know it’s still early but WOW!! Speak with him on the balcony of his apartment. This looney bin wants us to gather certain zombies for him to audition. The Villain, Hot Hunk and Brave Hero can all be found around the apartment. Lure them to the area underneath the balcony so Steve can watch them perform. Kill them afterwards. Speak with Steve to complete the quest. As a reward, you’ll receive 2,500 XP and a Krakatoa.

Dead Island 2 – Missing Nadia
by in To begin the Missing: Nadia lost and found quest in Dead Island 2, interact with the poster on the missing board at the Serling Hotel on Ocean Avenue. We found this after beating the game (might be found sooner). For this quest, travel to the Metro then head east from the fast travel point. You’ll find Nadia’s Map journal on the door.
Next, you’ll have to track down the 4 digits of the code to enter Nadia’s Combination on the Security Keypad. The first is 0. Head back down the hallway going towards the fast travel point to spot the blue 0 painted by a door.
8 is the next number and can be found on the roof in a train car at the location we’re in as shown on the map below.
2 is the next one and it can be found on the wall in a hallway south of the above train car.
6 is the last and can be found on the wall in the room west of the above number.
Once you have all the numbers, return to Nadia’s door. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it and you’ll need to take her out. Once you do, loot the two journal entries in the room she busted out of. You’ll then be able to loot the chest in this room as well. Afterwards, the quest will complete. As a reward, you’ll receive 2,500 XP.

Dead Island 2 – Putrid Subway Car Keys for the Quarantined Belongings Lockbox
by in To find the Putrid Subway Car Keys needed to open the Quarantined Belongings lockbox in Dead Island 2, travel to the Metro at the spot shown in the image below.
Once there, take down the big guy then loot the Putrid Subway Car Keys. Now that you have the keys, head to the nearby train car and head inside.
Loot the Quarantined Belongings lockbox inside this train car to receive the Puncturator Brass Knuckles.

Dead Island 2 – The Art of War
by in To obtain The Art of War side quest in Dead Island 2, speak with Rosa at the Serling Hotel on Ocean Avenue. (We did this post game but you might be able to do it sooner!) For this quest, head to the Metro to look for her friend’s stash. Once there, make your way to the western side of the area where you’ll find a laptop.
Once you interact with it, waves of zombies will spawn. Clear them out until it loads then use the laptop to find out what’s loaded on it. The location of the gang’s supplies in the train cars will now be marked on your map. Make your way west towards the objective. When you arrive you’ll have to search through the cardboard boxes in the train cars to find the supplies. In the far western car you’ll find the More Than Gangbangers journal on the seat in the back of the train car. Grab it then head through the nearby metal door.
Follow the path through the tunnel and take out the crew. Grab the Javier is Disappointed journal and DBD Chest Key from where they drop. Use the key to unlock the DBD Chest in the nearby room with the workbench. Afterwards the quest will complete!

Dead Island 2 – Serling Reception Key for the Serling Reception Safe
by in To find the Serling Reception Key needed to open the Serling Reception Safe in Dead Island 2, travel to the second level of the Lotusville shopping mall on Ocean Avenue.
Once there, take down the Serling Concierge to find the Serling Reception Key.
Now that you have the key, make your way up to the third floor and enter the Serling Hotel. Behind the reception desk you’ll find the Serling Reception Safe.

Seed Pod – Fire Pineapple: Nabooan Green
When facing the elevator from the Meditation Point, it is to the left of the elevator on the other side of the tree by the rock.
Databank – Broken Dredging Machine
When facing the elevator from the Meditation Point, follow the path left to find this collectible on an island in the water.
Databank – Broken Mining Droid
From the previous collectible, head past it to find the scannable broken down droid.
Treasure – Priorite Shard
Facing the previous collectible, look to the right to find a wall you can jump up. Do so to find a ledge containing a nest.
Seed Pod – Cactus Ball
Facing the elevator while standing on the Meditation Point, head to the right and look for a group of metal crates. Hit the plant in front of them with your lightsaber.
Chest – Photoreceptors: Scrayard
From the previous collectible, head to the side of the stacked metal crates and use your grapple to reach them. This will bring you to a stone rock containing the chest.
Treasure – Priorite Shard
This shard can be found near where you find the first group of Battle Droids near the crash site. After defeating the droids, head into the cavern. Immediately take a left to find a side tunnel with a wall you can run jump on. Do that to reach a ledge containing the shard.
Databank – Crushed Prospector
Along the main path after defeating the first Raider Grunt in the tunnel.
Seed Pod – Cactus Ball
Near the shortcut zip line that leads back to the Meditation Point. Use the lightsaber to cut it down.
Databank – Koboh Tar
In a tar pit along the main path just after using the zip line shortcut from the Meditation Point
Seed Pod – Fire Pineapple
Head to the ship trapped in tar. Once there look for the droid then head down the path behind him to face a rock wall. Cut the brush on the right to receive the seed.

**The below collectibles become available after you unlock the ability to open doors with the Force.**
Force Tear
Start at the Meditation Point and send the elevator up (don’t ride it!). Under it you’ll find a hatch you can open. Drop down to find the Force Tear at the end.
Essence: Skill Point
Near the end of the area in the tar pit right before Derelict Dam. There will be a crashed ship that you must use the Force to raise out of the tar. The essence can be found on this ship.

Dead Island 2 – Maintenance Toolbox Key for the BWRP Maintenance Toolbox
by in To find the Maintenance Toolbox Key needed to open the BWRP Maintenance Toolbox in Dead Island 2, travel to the Brentwood Sewer.
Once there you’ll find the Maintenance Worker. Take him out then loot the Maintenance Toolbox Key he drops. Now that you have the key, make your way to the room south of the Main Septic Tank. It’s on the second level of this area.
In the office area, you’ll find the BWRP Maintenance Toolbox. You’ll now be able to loot this box to receive a Leeching Zombie Axe.
