Atelier Ryza – Chapter 3 Story Quests

 

Below is a walkthrough on the main story quests in Chapter 3 of Atelier Ryza.

 

The Panicking Boy: 1

Before we begin our next adventure, visit Klaudia at her house. Afterwards, travel to Brunnen Manor in Treppe Hill to trigger a cutscene then retreat to the atelier.

 

The Panicking Boy: 2

Head to the Shipyard on Traveler’s Road then begin your trek to Meteor Castle. From the Shipyard, head north to reach the Central Lime Plains then press on to Northern Fork. Once in Northern Fork, take the northeast exit to arrive in the Smoky Mountain Path of Weissberg Volcano. Make your way through this area to the northeast to find the Hidden Village. Once in the Hidden Village, make your way to the southwest to reach the Heatwave Gate of Meteor Castle. Head directly south to find the Upper Waterway. Make your way through this area towards the end to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, keep pushing forward to the end of this map. After the Old Castle Chapel area, you’ll fight the dragon. Be prepared for this fight as it’s a boss fight!

 

The Panicking Boy: 3

Head to Brunnen Manor on Treppe Hill to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, travel to the atelier to speak with Empel and Lila. You’ll receive new recipes so synthesize a Plajig and Luft, which are both bombs.

 

The Panicking Boy: 4

Head to Boden District to trigger a cutscene then return to the atelier. To warn the fisherman, travel to Kurken Port. Afterwards, we’ll need to synthesize some Powerful Fish Bait with at least 7o Quality. To find Fragrant Honey Tree, which is the ingredient needed for the Powerful Fish Bait recipe, set out for Northern Fork in Traveler’s Road. Destroy the rocks blocking the northwest map transition then proceed forward to reach Sweet River in Maple Delta. Use the axe on the large trees in this area to collect the Fragrant Honey Tree. Once you’ve gathered the ingredients, return to the atelier to synthesize the Powerful Fish Bait.

 

The Panicking Boy: 5

Once synthesized, travel to Kurken Port and hand the bait over to the fisherman standing next to Agatha on the docks. Wait 1 day then return to Kurken Port to see how the bait did. After a brief cutscene, return to the atelier then set off to Treppe Hill.

 

The Panicking Boy: 6

After the unsuccessful chat with Mr. Brunnen, meet up with Lila at Kurken Port. Afterwards, travel to the atelier to trigger a brief cutscene with Empel. He’ll give you a new recipe for Monster Attractor, so synthesize it with at least 60 Quality. Once you’ve got it, hand it over to Empel. You’ll chat for a bit with him and Lila then you’ll need to head to Boden District for a cutscene with Agatha.

 

The Panicking Boy: 7

Head to Rasen District for a cutscene then travel to Kurken Port for a cutscene with Agatha. Afterwards, travel to Treppe Hill to confront Bos then head to the atelier to talk with Empel.

 

The Panicking Boy: 8

Travel to Brunnen Manor on Treppe Hill for the town meeting. Afterwards, confront the giant monster at Kurken Port. After your battle, return to Treppe Hill.

 

The Panicking Boy: 9

With the town assembly disbanded, return to the atelier. You’ll be given some new recipes so synthesize either a Lightning Bell, Restoration Bottle or Energianica. Afterwards, your friends will rush in saying that Bos has run away. Assuming he left for the mainland, head to the Shipyard on Traveler’s Road. After a brief cutscene, follow the footprints into the Sunken Mine.

 

The Panicking Boy: 10

Head deeper into the Sunken Mine to search for Bos. Travel all the way past the Forgotten Altar to the Dreamer’s Shore in Hidden Cove. From the Dreamer’s Shore, head south to the map transition to reach Cathedral Garden. Once in the Cathedral Garden, take the western path to reach the western circle near the center part of the map. Once you climb the stairs to this circle, a cutscene will trigger. *NOTE: At this point, you can return to the atelier for a tutorial on the Gathering Synthesizer if you wish.* Afterwards, keep making your way to the landmark in the south. In order to reach the landmark, you’ll need to defeat the enemies guarding the way. Once you make it through the door, you’ll arrive in the Boundary Cathedral. Make your way south towards the landmark to trigger a cutscene.
