Below is a walkthrough on the main story quests in Chapter 2 of Atelier Ryza.

 

Everyone’s Changing: 1

Now that we want to build a secret hideout, head to Empel’s to get his input then return home. After the brainstorming session, synthesize Stone Material. A cutscene will trigger then you’ll need to create 5 units each of Stone Material, Building Material and Seaweed Soil. The Eroded Stone for the Stone Material can be found by forging for it in the wild. For the Building Material, you can find Eiche in wooden boxes around town. The Salt Grass needed for the Seaweed Soil can be found in northern Traveler’s Road in the raised section on the west side. Use the scythe on the bushes to gather the Salt Grass. When finished with this task, head to the Hidden Clearing in Pixie Forest and hand the items over to each of your friends. With the secret hideout officially complete, go ahead and check it out both inside and out!

 

Everyone’s Changing: 2

Head deeper into the forest past the Arbor Ruins towards Forest Clearing to encounter a monster. After the cutscene, consult with Empel about it. You’ll then need to head to Klaudia’s house to share the news with her.

 

Everyone’s Changing: 3

Wait one day for Klaudia to ask her father’s permission to take part in the travels then return to Klaudia’s house to see how it went. In order for Klaudia to adventure with everyone, Klaudia’s father has decided to test the group via tasks. For our first task, we’ll need to plug the hole in the basement using a Soft Rubber Stone with at least 50 Quality. When you’ve synthesized the item, hand it over to Lubart, who is standing near the stairs leading down to the basement.

 

Everyone’s Changing: 4

Next, we’ll need to wait 2 days for further instructions on our next task then head to the Boden District. For the second task, we’ll need to clean up the village by creating a Bomb with at least 50 Quality. Once synthesized, bring it to the debris field in Old Town and “check” the debris to place the Bomb. Afterwards, wait 1 day then return to your atelier. After Klaudia’s performance, head to Boden District to trigger a cutscene.

 

Everyone’s Changing: 5

To help out the fisherman, we’re going to need a new kind of bait. Head to Atelier Ryza and synthesize the Flour recipe (if you have not already done so) to create Delicious Bait, which can be found by following the left branch. You will need to synthesize at least 5 Delicious Baits. Once crafted, bring them to the fisherman at Kurken Port. Wait at the atelier 1 day for the results of the bait. Afterwards, head to Klaudia’s house to speak with Lubart. For the final task, you’ll need to had to the mainland port, which is the Shipyard/Traveler’s Road.

 

Everyone’s Changing: 6

After the cutscene, head north into Traveler’s Road to reach the next area called Central Lime Plains. Continue north to reach Northern Fork. Head to the central part of the Northern Fork to trigger a cutscene with Bos. Once you regain control, return to Agatha in the Shipyard to trigger another cutscene. Afterwards, head to Boden District.
